On the old forum we used to have notifications through Gmail when someone replied to one another it was easier for me to reply to them so I was just wondering if that would be an option to put on the site notifying the members Gmail accounts so that we get a message and we can reply faster than just going on the site and looking on my notifications because when we do the last post was like hours ago sometimes but it would be easier for some of us especially when you have a really busy schedule you be able to notice the message just like any notification on your phone or tablet and reply faster to it without waiting for your free time or lunch break it would give many people a really big favour thank you for understanding and if it's not possible we understand

the particaption tab shows you when someone has replied to a thread you have
-
go to edit profile -> notifications
there will be options for emails that are automatically defaulted at never.
you can recieve emails for when someone
a. likes your post
b. quotes your post
c. tags you in a post
d. sends you a Private Message
e. your particapated tab is updated (when someone comments on a thread you have commented on, although they may not have been replying to you.)
you can also recieve emails for every single post/thread made in a specific/ or all board(s) (let me know if you want to this so I can tell you how)

I think smart means it comes in bulk.
Like instead of receiving one email for one like you get one email for 5 likes or something.

there's tapatalk, idk how push notifications work on it, as they don't work on my phone but i know they do for other people Sand |

I use Tapatalk on my mobile device. At first, the notifications weren't working for some reason but after an update or two, they worked. You have to make sure they're turned on, though ^^
