Worst fandoms to me are MLP, FNaF, and the Phandom
I actually like Dan and Phil but the fandom is just too crazy sometimes and they need to chill
And I feel like FNaF just needs to end like the story line was interesting for the first three but now it's just dragging on

The Star Wars fandom is pretty cringey right now, and that's coming from someone who loves SW. There's a lot of shipping drama, arguing over who is an isn't a 'Mary Sue', and people claiming that 'people who like *~problematic~* characters are bad people who support *insert thing here*!" and crap like that. I avoid the tags so much because I just hate it.
People are making anti blogs, and then people make anti-anti blogs, and so on. It's ridiculous.
EDIT: Also, most youtuber fandoms weird me out. Not the nice people, but those who make self insert OCs or ship youtubers together... It's creepy, honestly.

my little pony, homestuck, undertale, superwholock, fnaf, steven universe, 21p, the phandom, hetalia you basically just listed all my least favourite fandoms except black butler, kill la kill and attack on titan Oh my god the attack on Titan fandom is practically getting worse as time goes on XD can safely say it's just plain bad on tumblr

Fnaf. Now, don't get me wrong, the games are actually pretty good. I can stand them. What I can't stand, however, is the fandom. It's mostly consistent of little children making terrible OCs or people shoving their headcanons down your throat. There is a good side to the fandom, it's just that the bad overtakes the good.

The same with Undertale. Sure, I love the game, and I consider myself a part of the fandom, but the bad side to it really annoys me. I just try to avoid it and stay on the more positive side of the fandom.

I'm a poor unfortunate soul who's watched all of Supernatural, is pretty keen on Sherlock, and grew up watching the older generations of Doctor Who. But Superwholock is like the worst thing that happened to the internet. I swear to god.
So much of the Supernatural fandom is ridiculous with their shipping. I personally think the idea of 'Destiel' is sweet, and they have a profound bond, but people will not shut up about it. The show has a crazy, exciting plot and some well-developed characters, and all people talk about is the ships. It'd be nice to focus on something else for once.
And the Doctor Who fandom is heinous. I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. Most of the people who are a part of the fandom seem to only have started watching it because 10 and 11 are young and decently attractive. That's not what it's about. And then I hear people complaining about Peter Capaldi. The man's a ridiculously good actor, let's not get pissy about it.
And the Sherlock fandom is just ehh. It's a great show and it's so well made but the whole fandom is just a mess. Everything always seems to come back to the attractive protagonist.

The Touhou fandom can be kinda... nuts at times. Not always the bad kind of crazy though.
Do "xReader" fics count? You know, where someone is shipped with you/the reader? They've practically infested Quotev's fanfic section, and lots have bad protags (you) character-wise.

ok as a member of the clique there are definitely times i'm proud and not proud to be a part of it because some members can be super problematic (literally someone faked a death a few weeks ago just to get the boys' attention like. what is wrong with you??) but i love so many people in it?? most of us are pretty nice to each other and really creative and smart there's always an ugly side of each fandom tbh but there's good parts too

Eh, I'm not really active in any of the fandoms of the things I like. I generally tend to agree with Terry Pratchett's assessment that "Fans are great. Fandom is weird." For some reason being in a big group tends to bring out the more...odd...aspects of people. That being said, there do seem to be some fandoms with a higher proportion of obnoxious people than others, and the Hetalia fandom is one of them. And that's coming from someone who low-key likes Hetalia. The fandom of that manga/anime is the reason why I generally will not mention that I like it to people whom I know in real life. I know not all of the fandom is awful, but I don't want to be associated with the part of it that is. The Doctor Who fandom can also be a bit grating at times, given the fact that you've got both the meme-spouting tweenagers and curmudgeonly old fans in one fandom, not to mention a load of other subgroups. I'm not saying that the entire fandom is like this, mind you, and I do actually like the show, so I hope no-one takes offence! Of course every fandom is going to contain both good and bad, and it's a shame that the irritating people ruin it for everyone else and cause perfectly normal elements of the fandom to be tarred with the same brush. /rant Saying this as a member of the Doctor Who fandom, yes, it can be rather... strange. But I do love the meme part of the Classic Who Tumblr fandom and the Expanded Universe parts of the fandom (and even with the EU part of the fandom you have little subfandoms—Faction Paradox, the Eighth Doctor Adventures novels, Big Finish, Gallifrey audios, etc. Everyone in the subfandoms gets along, though). As for the NuWho part of the fandom... I mostly tend to stick to the RTD era and leave the Moffat era fans alone. (And for the love of Rassilon don't get involved in ship wars. Just... don't.)

I know Superwholock's been mentioned several times, but as for me personally... I never had a Superwholock phase. Though I do sometimes cross over Supernatural and Doctor Who for the fun of it.
I can't speak for the Superwholock fandom since I was never in it, but it has pretty much vanished over on Tumblr. Nor was I ever in the Sherlock fandom, but from what I've seen... yes, the BBC Sherlock fandom is rather toxic. (I honestly don't see what's so attractive about Benedict Cumberbatch? Really, I don't.)
While I am sort of in the Supernatural fandom, I'm kinda on the edges of it and don't really interact with the overall fandom much—but wow, some sections of the fandom (particularly the Destiel shippers) can be downright nasty (also absolutely ridiculous and childish). It doesn't help that they're literally everywhere and have an annoying tendency to hijack posts on Tumblr. (Okay, actually, don't even get me started on the Destiel shippers.)

definitely the phandom. A lot of youtuber fandoms in general whenever i hear phandom i automatically think 'danny phantom' and im always confused cuz i thought the danny phantom fandom died like 10 yrs ago rip but i agree, most youtubers fanbases are really bad. especially smosh and pewdiepie's fans Really? Whenever I hear "phandom" I automatically think Phantom of the Opera, and let me tell you, that makes a lot of YT comments very confusing. And whenever I hear "Homeworld" it automatically translates to Gallifrey in my head because of Faction Paradox. As you can imagine, that make a lot of SU posts very, very confusing.

as someone who was previously in the weeby anime (snk, tokyo ghoul, free! etc) fandom (cuz i feel like that deserves its own catagory) the undertale fandom, and also the superwholock fandom, i can agree that they all definitely suck a lot but i'd say the winner is definitely the phandom.

i feel p bad saying this but man i am rlly annoyed by the Hamilton fandom. like honestly. don't woobify the founding fathers n stuff. fact-check please. Hamilton was not an abolitionist he wasn't big on women's rights either. there's a lot of false info being believed. also like. it's ok to be critical of the show. there's a trend i noticed of harassing ppl who are critical of the show. you can like things and notice their faults !! also stop woobifying the founding fathers they were real historical figures and it's weird

the atla/lok fandom is one of the worst i've ever seen. it ruined the fandom experience for me because it was toxic as hell. not to mention the creators just kind of shrugged it off and contributed to the problem. i watched the whole thing go up in flames. freakin peachy I enjoyed watching Avatar, but i never came across anyone in the fandom like that. For me, the Undertale fandom. I knew an old friend who would not stop talking about it for a long time.
