"Think border but honestly I think things are peaceful." Gorsefang mewed. Aside from the fox, there was no big threat to Dewclan. Oakclan was gone and Lillyclan was their ally.
Thrushstar arrives at camp and makes his way through the entrance. He waits on the other side for Dusty.

She was stunned at the entrance it took her a moment to push her way through but when she did she gaped at the camp it was amazing she could see cats playing and older cats talking it was amazing.

"Thrushstar invited me into the clan." She smiled brightly, she was so happy she could burst she didn't even notice all the looks at her and her teal collar though the bell seemed to be stuck since it hadn't jingled in a little while.

"Oh." Dovewhisker was surprised that Thrushstar would ask Dusty to join. She looked up to see Thrushstar leaving to call a meeting. "Well I'm glad you are joining!"

Dropletleaf nodded. Hesitating, she meowed, "How about we sneak over there to check for five seconds so that our scent will be there, then go back to camp?" She'd never broken the rules before--but this was cutting close.

Gorsefang gently used his shoulder to nudge her. "Never took you to be naughty." He mewed twitching his whiskers at her.
"Somewhat." Dovewhisker leads the way over to the high ledge and sits down. Thrushstar yowled for the clan to gather.

"Let's go then." Gorsefang makes his way to the border.

Dropletleaf skidded to a stop beside the border. Carefully, she sprayed her scent along the border before padding along. SHe purposely dragged her pelt and tail over and across different things in the area, making it look as though she'd done a thorough patrol. Dropletleaf looked at Gorsefang. "Now you do the same!"

Dropletleaf made one more sweep with her tail before turning back to Gorsefang. "Alright, then. Let's head back." A nervous drop of sweat traced itself down her forhead. I hope we don't get caught! I don't want to be in trouble.

Dropletleaf nodded, soaking up his words for comfort. "Right." She quickened her pace, leaving Gorsefang lagging. It was hard knowing that she had just broken the warrior code for unnecessary reasons.

Dropletleaf padded on, trying to keep her fur smooth as they approached camp. Nerves were acting up and she was so tempted to back out. Guilt tugged at her chest, but she ignored it.
