Dropletleaf opens one eye to see Echofeather. "It burns....." Her whimper seems cowardly, but she's too much in pain to care.

Ashfire stood between her injured warrior and the fox.

Dropletleaf attempted to get up. Pain flared like a hot burn, and she sat down heavily. She looked up to see Ashfire, then squeezed her eyes shut.

"Here, I'll take you back to camp if you'd like," Echofeather said to Dropletleaf, her eyes wide with worry as she saw how much pain her clanmate was in. "You could use my shoulder for support."

Dropletleaf shook her head stubbornly. "I can do it myself!" She insisted. Then tried to get up again. And failed again. Dropletleaf looked up at her meekly. "On second thought, could you help?"

"Sure," said Echofeather, gently nudging Dropletleaf, trying to help her up. "But we better hurry, before the fox sees us."

Dropletleaf bleakly nodded, then attempted to, once again, heave herself onto her paws. Pain burned bright, especially in her tail. Putting her shoulder on Echofeather's she managed to take some of the weight off of her own paws. With a grunt, she pulled herself up, determined. Standing there, she panted, totally exhausted.

"Yeah." Dropletleaf gritted her teeth to brace herself for even more pain. Managing a small limp, she pushed herself harder.

Echofeather matched her pace with Dropletleaf's. She looked to the fighting fox and cats. Could the manage on their own? she wondered.

Dropletleaf let out a grunt and tried not to brush her tail up against anything. Her tail hurt the most, the end visibly bleeding.

Echofeather's gaze travel from the fox to Dropletleaf, scanning her for injuries. She winced as she saw her tail. That must hurt!

Dropletleaf pretended not to see Echofeather wince when she saw her tail. Struggling, she managed to slowly work her way over a tree root, envying Echofeather's sleek movements.

Echofeather turned her head back to see where she was going. "Almost there," she announced, her paws weary and her body stiff from all of her clanmate's weight.

The fox bristles angrily and takes a couple of steps back. Gorsefang snarled and swipes his paws at the fox.

Ashfire leapt at the fox claws extended she got its claws into its coat and attempted to bite down on the ofx's flesh.

The fox swipes back angrily, snapping his jaws at Gorsefang's neck. Then, he turned on Ashfire, thinking that Gorsefang was done with.
