"I can agree to that! Now I know I'm the explorer here, but where are all the fun places in camp? Can you show me?" Dawnkit flicks her tail slightly and bounds forward a little, turning to Creamfur.

"That's a really pretty name! I've never spoken to her, is she nice like you are?" Dawnkit looked over to the leader's den, "Are we allowed to go there?"

"She's very nice. Always supportive of the entire Clan. No we are not allowed to go in." Creamfur spoke quickly, but not.

"Awww, that sucks." Dawnkit sat there for a moment, sad that she couldn't enter Daffodilstar's den. The world was cut off to her, no matter how much she wanted to explore it. But she remembered something, something she wanted to know more than anything. She turned to Creamfur and hoped more than anything that he would know the answer. "Creamfur, is it true? That the world goes beyond this camp? I listen every chance I get to the warriors and they say there's territory they hunt on, and that they protect our territory from the territory of other clans. Does that mean that even the other clans have land? Is there land beyond that?"
Dawnkit thought for a long minute and knew for sure that Creamfur would have the answer to this question, "How big is the world?"

"Whoa. Lot of questions." Creamfur started. "Nobody knows how big the world really is. All of the other Coans have land just like us, and if we wanted we could all extend e world is huge."

"That's amazing Creamfur! Thank you!" Dawnkit purred, "I want to see all of it, everything there is to see. But I guess we should start with the camp. Where else is there?" Dawnkit yawned a bit but flicked her with excitement.

Sparrowleap had dragged Daffodilstar to the medicine cat's den, looking at the medicine cat with worry. "She just blacked out, she had a wound on her leg. Can you do anything?" She asked, fur spiked up and breath quick.
Mallowbreeze gave a curt nod, and got to work on her wounds. She examined the unconscious leader for injuries, taking a look at the one on her leg first. "That's bad." She muttered, quickly getting together a poultice and applying it with swift, quick strokes of her tongue. She looked down at Daffodilstar and then got s bundle of rancid-smelling herbs to wave in front of the leader's nose so she could wake up.

Creamfur had been showing Dawnkit the apprentices' den when Sparrowleap had dragged Daffodilstar in. He'd rushed to help her move his unconscious sister after he'd sent Dawnkit back to her mother for a nap. He'd allowed the deputy to slide her onto his back so that he could carry her to Mallownose's den. With Sparrowleap darting from side to side trying to secure Daffodistar, Creamfur had been struggling to keep her on his back with balance. When they'd finally made it to the den, he'd gladly let his sister slide off his back, sweat beading his forehead. He watched the deputy and the medicine cat exchange words, feeling slightly awkward.
Daffodilstar moaned, her senses starting to return. "Did I just...?" She glanced around the den. "Yep. I just did." A pang from her leg made her bite back a curse. "Mallownose, how long do I have to stay in the den?"
Creamfur's brow was furrowed in worry. "You'll stay as long as you need to stay." He made his voice firm.
Daffodilstar was startled. Her brother had been right behind her and she hadn't had an idea. "I'll stay as long as Mallownose says I can." She retorted coolly. Her brother was obviously concerned, but did he have to be so annoying when he was?
Creamfur stepped back, putting on a fake hurt expression. "Jeez, sis! I can't worry about you even a little bit?"
Daffodilstar had the nerve to look annoyed. "No!" She softened. "Look, Creamfur, it's sweet that you're worried about me, but it's getting in the way."
Creamfur backed out of the den, hurt for real now. He turned his back to her. "Fine! Be that way! I won't help you when you get hurt again. I won't even try!" He marched away, his ears hot and him steaming. What a mouse-heart for a sister!
Daffodilstar ignored her brother. "So, as I was saying, Mallownose when can I go back to my duties?"

"Under any other circumstances I would have your tail, but Creamfur is a smart and good-natured cat and I trust him. I do hope this has calmed your curiosity enough to not leave the den next time? You are a kit!" Frostwind scolded Dawnkit half-heartedly while Dawnkit curled up to her mother, yawning as she tried to fall asleep. Frostwind heard voices from the medicine den and shifted herself to cover Dawnkit. She knew that if her kit heard the talking she would get renewed energy and run off again.
Dawnkit purred, "No, I'm still very curious! Besides, there are no other kits, it's very boring here! I really liked Creamfur, he's nice."
Frostwind flicked her tail in amusement, "Creamfur was a kit like you once, though I don't remember what he was like. Now I know you like your questions, and I'm sure you'll be begging Daffodilstar to make Sparrowleap or Creamfur your mentor by tomorrow, but for now you need sleep. Let's settle down."
Dawnkit nodded, "Alright, I'm a little tired anyway. And Creamfur would be an awesome exploration assitant!"

"Stay right where you are for a moment and that would help." Mallowbreeze mumbled, her blind eyes slightly narrowed as she tended to a smaller bleeding scratch on Daffodilstar with cobwebs. After a bit, she gestured for the leader to get up with a swift flick of her tail. "It must have been painful, but just take it easy and avoid getting it dirty." She muttered, getting a few leaves and dressing her main wound with them. "Make sure those don't come off and head straight to the leader's den! Come back if you feel pain so I can get you some cobwebs." The medicine cat said briskly.
