Mallowbreeze sensed the slight tension and impatience in the air as everyone waited for Rainkit to be apprenticed, and felt the kit's gaze rest on her for a moment with a small tingle at the back of her neck. She dipped her head respectfully while sitting by the entrance of the medicine cat's den calmly, hoping that some cats could speak so she could make use of one of her senses.

Fernshade and Troutpaw walked into camp with their catches. Troutpaw felt a little bit of excitement at the hopes of getting a den mates to talk to. I hope they're not too energetic, he thought, padding under the highrock to listen to the ceremony.

Dewleaf saw Daffodilstar look at her and widened her eyes in surprise. She was mentoring Rainkit?

Daffodilstar managed to look away before anyone else besides her brother and Dewleaf saw. Nervousness churned in her stomach as she waited for the kit to step forward.

Rainkit stepped forward, her blood pounding in her ears. She was ready for this. She was born ready for this. She could feel the eyes of all the cats in the Clan on her, and her pelt prickled in excitement. Rainkit looked up at Daffodilstar, ready to become an apprentice.

Sparrowleap couldn't help but stare straight at Rainkit, she too feeling the familiar rush of excitement. You will be now known as Sparrowpaw. The old words ran through her mind, and she briefly imagined how wonderful it would feel for this kit now.

Daffodilstar took a breath. "Rainkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Rainpaw. Your mentor will be Dewleaf. I hope Dewleaf will pass down all she knows on to you."
Creamfur raised his muzzle, ready to chant. His sister looked happy, and Creamfur smiled. Just as he'd predicted, Dewleaf was a mentor.

Dewleaf's eyes widened even more, round like the sun. She shook her head. Snap out of it, mouse-brain! she scolded herself. She opened her eyes back to normal and dipped her head respectfully, as a sign that she would pass down the hardest of hard skills down to her new apprentice, Rainpaw.

Daffodilstar raised her muzzle in a chant. "Rainpaw! Rainpaw! Rainpaw!" It was the first time she had ever started one.
Creamfur joined his sister happily. "Rainpaw! Rainpaw! Rainpaw!" He was happy that Troutpaw finally had a companion.

"Rainpaw!" Sparrowleap cheered, her voice probably the loudest and most excited. "Yay!" She exclaimed happily before resting her eyes on the apprentice and grinning broadly.
Mallowbreeze was slightly shocked by all this noise, and sat a bit taller before quietly calling out the apprentice's name. "Rainpaw! Rainpaw!" She could barely be heard, but at least she could chant this new apprentice's name.

Daffodilstar smiled, then leaped down from the _________. "Clan meeting officially dismissed!" It was unnecessary to announce it when leaping down signaled it, but she did it anyway.

Brightpath was out of camp. She was looking at the magnificent sky knowing her siblings and Mother who died in Birthing are in the stars. " I miss you so much " She looks up again and can't seem to pull her smaller eyes away.

{Welcome to the rp! We just finished Rainpaw's apprentice ceremony, he was apprenticed to Dewleaf. Otherwise, you can just feel free to jump in. Here, I'll post a starter.}
Creamfur looked at Troutpaw and Fernshade next to him, then got up. Spotting Shrewsong, he called out a greeting. "Hey! Shrewsong! How are you?"

Shrewsong heard Creamfur calling her. She headed over to him and answered: "Hi, Creamfur! I'm fine. Just thinking. I'd love to have an apprentice someday, but you now me... I'm horrible around youngsters." Shrewsong frowned slightly, then smiled again. She was happy in LilyClan. It truly was a great Clan. Her clanmates were kind to her and that was just enough for Shrewsong. "Anyways, I'm glad Dewleaf is going to mentor Rainpaw. She seemed quite shocked, to be honest. Did you notice?" She asked Creamfur.
