Tinypaw put her long claws into the branch and pulled herself up with her legs. She leaped onto the lowest branch, and sat down. ` Is that good? ` "Good." Onyxwind purred. "Have you been doing some practicing of your own already?" He asked curiously, but decided to not pursue small talk anymore because it wasn't very useful. "Well... It is very hard to catch squirrels in trees, mostly because you are an apprentice. You need to be light and quick on your paws." He added. |

Snowtiger jumped up beside Tinypaw. He enjoyed the height of being in the trees and would enjoy hunting here. "That's true," he meowed, "You must be light on your paws up here, and know what branches will support your weight."

[Oh cool! I'll just throw out a starter then]
Ryewhisker padded out of the warrior's den, stopping a little into the clearing to dig his back paws into the ground and stretch his body by s******ing his front paws forward. Once he was satisfied and loose, he gave his grey pelt a shake and headed for the fresh kill pile to pick up something to snack on. He'd gone out on the dawn patrol earlier and even after his short nap it was evident of the tom's exhaustion as he walked in more of a zig-zag pattern rather than a straight line.

Tawnypaw walked back into camp shaking his fur and his hair was spiked. Blackpaw raced over.
"What were you doing?" He asked. Tawnypaw shook his coat again.
"Training in the river." Tawnypaw said.
"You look like a half drown fish." Blackpaw chuckled. Mintleaf padded by and gave a small purr of amusement, remembering her apprentice training days.

"Truthfully, I'm not the best at climbing trees but it's good to see an apprentice interested." He admitted, looking up at the two cats wistfully. |

Goldenblaze watched the queen's expression change into a thoughtful one. Was there something she said? The elder was reluctant to pry, not generally enjoying personal questions herself, but there was a nagging thought in her head, urging her to speak up. "Mouse got your tongue?" She asked

Tinypaw climbed further up the tree, her jaws open so she would know where there was a sqirrel. She spotted a long-furred, ginger one a few branches above her, and making sure to stay quiet, she climbed towards it. The appprentice got in the hunter's crouch, and pounced - but the animal could hear her coming, unlike a mouse. It went further up, and Tinypaw landed on air. Her paws began to slip, but she put her claws into the branch at the last second. ` Mind helping me? ` She hissed, angry for messing it up.

Snowtiger lept higher up beside the she-cat, careful not to unbalance her further. He grabbed the apprentice by her scruff and helped balance her. "It takes some time to know your way around trees," he meowed."

` Thanks. ` The brown tabby said quietly, leaping off the branch. Now she looked, it was actually quite low. Tinypaw licked her chest fur, embarassed.

Goldenblaze visibly tensed at the connection. Getting up, she looked to the entrance of the nursery. Seeing no one around, she turned back to Quillmane. "What I'm about to tell you can't make it to anyone else. Ambershine...wasn't nearly as great of a cat that most of the clan thought her to be. She was actually pretty cruel. And you say he spent more time with her than you? Can you explain a bit more on what he was like?"

"I...I don't know what to think" Goldenblaze said honestly. "The most I can say is that it's possible my sister manipulated Redwater, and for that I'm so sorry. But was he still showing up with wounds even after her death? Because that would make even less sense"

"I..." Goldenblaze seemed to hesitate to continue talking. She didn't like speaking ill of Ambershine for long, it always left her with a bad feeling. Besides, what were the chances that he had inherited anything other than a bad attitude? "I don't know what else to think about it"

(I've got the first few parts up, gonna try to use what we've already got to attempt to make the rest myself. Would you like to see how it looks so far? I'm particularly proud of the camp I thought up of, although I still need to add the rest of the territory)
