» ( awesome! )
Foxtrot grunted as she searched for a soft spot to lay underneath a shaded spot in the clearing, her bushy tail keeping most of her smaller frame hidden in what seemed like a wall of fluff. "There's just no where to lay down today, is there..." She huffed to herself, her bright green eyes observing the thin grass underneath her paws, kneading at it a little before she lay down. Her head, however, eventually turned towards Cinderstar as she saw him approach the middle of the camp, blinking before dipping her head ever so slightly.

Onyxwind saw Specklefoot, dipping his head in greeting and looking straight at her. "Of course! You can come as well as Acornpaw. There's no reason to be stuck in camp all day when you're an apprentice, is there?" He said happily, calling over the apprentice. "Acornpaw! Care to join a patrol?" He asked. "Anyways, we'll get moving soon." The deputy confirmed with a short little tip of his head.

» "Of course!" She mewed, scrambling to her paws in an eager manner. The she-cat was smaller than the tom, but she fluffed herself a little, trying to seem a little more... intimidating. Not that she wanted to challenge her leader, of course, but more so to make her seem as if she was more than capable of hunting as a normal warrior would. "Lead the way!"

» The russet-furred cat tried to keep her burst of energy contained as she followed Cinderstar silently, in the direction of the river. Her ears would perk and tilt towards any noises she heard, but she was looking forward to hunting in the river again, hopefully able to catch some fish or mice or voles or something. "How have RippleClan been doing? With the hostility, I mean?"

» She didn't really enjoy the cats living across the border, but she wasn't going to jump to conclusions. "Well, if a war does break out, you've got an entire loyal clan that is willing to fight for the cause." She mewed brightly, perking her ears as she heard the hawk flying overhead and then vanish. "Regardless, I know ThicketClan can take them on. They're a bunch of slimy fish-faces anyway."

» She smiled and nodded, parting her jaws and letting the different smells of the forest approach her. She could scent several things nearby, but she managed to sense a small sparrow within the vicinity. Following it and making sure it wouldn't detect her, she soon found herself facing its backside a few tail-lengths away, to where she slowly began to crouch and take small, gentle steps towards it, being mindful of not making any sudden noises. Within seconds, the she-cat gave a pounce with her strong hind legs, slamming her front paws onto it just as the critter began to fly up, giving a swift bite to the neck to make sure it was dead.

» A small chuckle left the she-cat when she noticed that the tom had missed his catch, and so she flicked her tail as she picked up the bird she caught and set it near a small rock near the running water. She again scented the air, where she noticed a small mouse nibbling on some seeds underneath a tree, and with a cocky huff Foxtrot crouched and sprinted towards it. She had accidentally snapped a twig or two in the process, alerting the mouse of her presence, to which it then began to skitter away and into a small hole under a tree. Foxtrot lashed her tail, rustling some leaves accidentally.

» She she-cat let out a low grumble before nodding slightly, turning to pick up the sparrow and proceed to follow the leader. "Clumsy day for hunting." She muttered, a little upset that they had only managed to catch two pieces prey that lay on the rather smaller end of the spectrum. "Hopefully we can catch something bigger, that can feed more cats..." She meowed.

» (sorry for my poofiness but yeah! cinder can if you want :3 )
She grinned and set her piece of prey down near where Cinderstar left his. She began to inch forward, glancing at the tom, trying to decipher whether or not he would make the move to catch it or leave it up to her. "Hopefully a big one, too, and so fat that it won't be able to move!" She whispered excitedly.

» "Got it." The she-cat then made a stealthy approach around it, keeping low to the ground and making sure not to repeat the mistakes that she had previously. With a growl, she began to run, scaring the rabbit towards the bush the Cinderstar would be hiding under.

{ So sorry, Fox! }
Cinderstar heard Foxtrot growl, and readied himself to pounce. He heard leaves scuffle and scatter as the rabbit raced towards him. As soon as he saw it, he launched off his powerful hind legs and snagged the rodent by a hind leg, almost missing it, but pulling it down nevertheless. He swiftly gave it a bite to the back of the neck, quieting it instantly. He looked up proudly, dragging the large rabbit. "This'll feed the clan," he tried to say, but it sounded more like, "Isll eed a an." He nodded to thd vole, asking Foxtrot to carry it, and he started to drag the rabbit back home.

She grinned as she noticed that he had caught it, then moved to pick up the sparrow and the vole Cinderstar had caught. With a curt nod, the she-cat held her head up to keep the two pieces of prey off the ground, following the leader back towards the clan's camp.

» (if you want! or we can continue tomorrow. )
Foxtrot purred in delight, watching him set the rabbit down, then excitedly setting her own down beside his catch. "This'll keep our tummies full." She mewed.
