Kuragehime Auransky"Well, if all we are going to get is glowing letters, than I'm not sure that this is going to be any help," said Kid. He held the stone up, looking at it again before shrugging. He supposed if Aizen couldn't figure it out either, he could look at it. But the thief still hesitated before he held it out for the man to take. "You want to see if you can get it to do anything?" he asked. Half an eye was still on the glowing words. Paths of thought... Whatever that meant. -- broken and Shining "I agree," said Sally, nodding. "Should we try to go back to the hallways? Most of us turned up there, so it seems like it is safe to assume that others turn up there as well. And there might be some disused rooms there." She looked back the way they had come. It wasn't easy to see the way back to the hallway, since piles of junk were in the way, but she thought she had a good idea about how to get back. Having a place to keep useful items, like the chains she still had draped over one shoulder, would probably invaluable in the future.

mintedstar/fur and Auransky: "I suppose I could try," Aizen answered. "I won't break it," he said with a soft laugh as he took the item into his hands. The warmth given off by the crystal only just touched his skin through the gloves over his hands. He handled it confidently yet delicately, having dealt with small crystalline objects in his past, turning it over and around in his hands before holding it up to the light. Perhaps it was meant to be placed in a certain spot, or even on the map, and he thought it odd that a crystal was so warm without any explanation.

mintedstar/fur KuragehimeAsuramaru stared at the vampire a little longer with disgust, then tilted his head away from him with a smirk. "I'm surprised you haven't realized, I'm a demon. My name is Asuramaru," he replied, almost ignoring the comment about him looking like a girl. He pointed towards his horns as he spoke, though it was obvious what he had already noticed them. Then he snorted as they began talking about how each other were scientists. "Oh great," he mumbled, "I'm surrounded by idiots..." -- Auransky Mint Snake nodded at their conversation, remaining silent as they spoke. It sounded like a good idea to him. "Great, so a base camp type thing it is. And I agree with Sally, there are others nearby, says Oscar," he translated before slowly walking off in a direction, but waited for them. -- tinybreeze Mint, Hime Noé looked up from his book and towards Sable's voice. He frowned a little bit, tossing his book towards where Sable, or hologram Sable, was. "You again!" He mumbled, then glanced over towards the others he was with. He only sighed, shaking his head. Like they were going to get an answer from him anyway. But he just went with it, he raised his hand slightly. "I'd actually like to know, too."

mintedstar/fur broken Kuragehime(late reply yay) Quote looked up from a newly-opened book in shock. Sable was back. Again. He put one hand on his bat, but didn't make a move to attack. Sable seemed to want to talk more than anything. "Sorry about that. What was that file, anyway?" he asked. Stay calm, gather information. His code was guiding him more tham anything. Sable wasn't an immediate threat, so don't use force.

tinybreeze ((Sorry for missing this >.< )) Minato nodded at the thought, "Hitting the books never killed anyone." He considered. "U-Unless they are thrown at you, otherwise knowledge is power." He looked at the hall from which they came. "It shouldn't be too far from here." He recalled, "Alright let's go." He waved and started walking. broken mintedstar/fur Lelouch clapped his hands together, "Perfect!" He agreed at the thought, "Let's go find others, and keep an eye out for potential spots to utilize. Sable may have an all seing eye, but seeing as he rarely interviens so far, he may simply watch and not act in our declared safe havens." He considered. He followed after the two quickly, glimpsing back behind him before focusing fully on what was up ahead. mintedstar/fur KuragehimeAkira examined the item some more in silence, the three of them had no knowledge of the item. But seeing it light up to certain spots made him recall something. It seems like... At the mention of lighting up at certain spots he couldn't help but snap his fingers our of habit, "That might actually be it." He spoke up, "An item which can see certain things, like a third eye of sorts." He added. "There may be certain places that are false walls, or can be tampered with if taken at a closer approach. That stone may just be a detector of sorts." Perhaps only working best when placed near the item we want exaimed. Nothing like my third eye which gives me full coverage..er did....

Kuragehime tinybreeze brokenSable looked behind and the darkness. " Oh? That? It's nothing." He turned to look back at Kagura's left arm and shrugged. He did seem a little different, but he also still appeared sort of hologram-like. Conan still didn't think he was actually appearing in front of them for real, but it did seem like he...was speaking more clearly. Like their ears could pick up on the words easier. Sable ran a 'finger' over the doorframe as he thought of what to say next. " A good statement that should be made here is that you should be careful where you poke your nose. I wasn't planning on turning up so soon, but that file 'broke' and I had to do a fast repair by cutting off the doorway from the rest of the Museum. If I hadn't, you'd all be a lot dead-er than usual." He looked at Quote, well, over Quote's head. " It was a set of instructions, but the file got corrupted when AIDAN played around with the local hardware. No need to worry, I had backup copies." No one, as far as Conan knew, had been worrying about that... -- broken and Hime: Myrnin grinned back at Okabe, instantly liking the man. Possibly because it was like looking at a mirror. "I'm mad and a scientist, so I say that fits the term," he added. He was about to say something else when the demon started talking. The vampire tilted his head in his direction, eyes widening a little at the mention of demons. "Reallllly?" he said, looking pleased. He leaned forward, a little into the invisible space around Asuramaru known as 'comfort zone' without even realizing. "Actually, I'm quite smart. Now, how exactly are you a demon?" -- Auransky and broken: Sally followed Snake, glad that there were two in the group who could be considered 'trackers'. At least, if you counted Snake's snake and herself. It was a interesting correction to make, since she'd half forgotten that he'd been speaking for them instead of them all being the same creature. She was a little to used to Discworld logic. "Hopefully that will be the case," she agreed with Lelouch. "Now we just need to get back to the hallways." -- Dia and Hime: "Interesting thought," said Kid. He looked around, pointing to the wall that still held the glowing letters on it. "Should we try looking at that wall more closely, then?" The heat from the stone went up a little for a brief second as soon as Akira through out his suggestion, but the change in temperature faded so quickly that most would think they had imagined it. Kid walked up to the wall, looking at where the glowing words were. "Just supposed to find a way through, I guess...If that is what it does."

Sable seemed rather pleased that it had been vague, though it was hard to tell expressions on a shadow person. His eyes spun around in his head once, dizzily. He waggled a sort-of finger. Once again it was hard to tell on a shadow person. "The choice you make is the choice you make. I am afraid there is no way to go back." He didn't seem to care if she'd just been thinking out-loud. The owner of the Museum was slightly confused as she explained what she actually meant. Humans were confusing. Why hadn't she just asked that? "It is a bit of the last one, actually. Me being the powerful deity, I suppose. You are certainly entertaining, I will say that. But only a bit of the last option. You are in Limbo, you could say. This is not the afterlife, or whatever comes after death. It is a...side place. It would be easier to explain it this way." He held out a 'hand' and something exploded to life above it. It looked like a mini-model of the Museum, from the inside. It looked a little like an inner-tube, if you could see if from the inside and the inner-tube didn't have edges. The sides were blurred and the pictured moved in and out to show that the Museum stretched for lengths that couldn't be measured by the picture. "That center bits the hallway," said Sable, pointing to the part that would have been the center on an inner-tube. "Just a fun fact. Anyway, from your world, say for example Earth." A mini-model of the planet turned up, full color and in detail, just to the left and near the floor of the Museum model. "And then your mystery afterlife or whatever." He wasn't so original here and a squiggly thing that looked like a question mark (if you squinted) turned up near the ceiling. "So when you died, the Museum interfered with your scheduled path from point A ) Earth to point B ) Afterlife." A small figure that looked like Emi started to rise from the model of Earth in the direction of the squiggly question mark, but suddenly got pulled by some force into the Museum model. "From that point, I really don't care to keep you here, since the place would get a little full, don't you think? So I kick you out the ways I know how. I can send you up or down. Earth or Afterlife. While you are here, you entertain me. That explain things any?" (Ugh sorry if these responses make no sense I woke up early to a headache >.<) spiritdeath mintedstar/fur Roxie noddded slightly at Lupin's choice, but then looked over at Cameron as she asked her questions. She wasn't too sure herself. "Can you even form a group with others who have chosen different paths?" She was mostly talking about the girl, since Lupin and herself both chose freedom. "Well you Can stick with us for now if you'd like." (You are fine broken. At least I kept this one down to a paragraph...) broken spiritdeath Lupin nodded. "I don't mind you sticking around. What's the worst that could happen?" His grin didn't show that his head was running through just such worst-case scenarios. "I suppose we'd only really know if Sable told us, but he isn't here, is he. So it probably wont matter." He looked left and right, seeing nothing and no one that looked like a possible 'Sable'. So he shrugged and grinned, playing with his two rings again. "So, should we explore the Museum now?" (AHHH late reply!! I wanted to write these and my reply for a RP I'm in off the forums at the same time, but it ended up I took a while with the response for the other RP- Sorry!!!!) mintedstar/fur Emi was briefly distracted with the model, leaning towards it as she examined it. Her eyes flickered back up to Sable during most of his explanation, but once her ghost-model appeared her eyes locked onto it, following small-Emi's journey to the museum. "Yes." Emi straightened a tad at the end of his explanation. She had follow-up questions, but for whatever reason she just shrugged them off. "Can a place that's infinite get crowded?" She asked rhetorically, but she wouldn't be surprised if he answered it anyway. There was a pause as Emi considered something else. "What if I or somebody else never found their item? Or got lost or something?" mintedstar/fur broken (Hello broken!) Cameron smiled widely at the two of them, humming out a little 'thank you' for allowing her to stay with them- she tilted her head down to hide the flash that went through her eyes. The words 'for now' both worried and slightly irked her, though she was quick to bury her thoughts about what she would do later. Pushing her chin up once again, her expression clear of anything negative, she smiled and nodded at Lupin. "Now or never," She said as she moved forward, stepping into the museum.

(It's fine. ) spiritdeathSable did, of course, answer the question. "In theory, no, it can't. But when you see everyone traipsing around it, you run out of video cameras sooner or later." Well, his paper crane spies, but it was the same thing, wasn't it? He considered her next question. "Once again, in theory, that's possible. That they would get so deep into the Museum that they'd never get out again. But here's the thing. Where's the fun in that? Oh, people have gotten really lost before, but there isn't a 'never' in those equations. Sooner or later, you'll get back here. Can't guaranty your mindset or sanity, but you'll end up back here. Time also passes... differently here. You could get lost for five years and then get back to the hallways and for another group only a couple of hours would have passed. Which is the correct time?" -- broken and spirit Lupin followed after Cameron, glad to be moving again. He looked out at the Museum, mouth falling open. The shear vastness of it would have impressed him, but the items added to the effect. Everything was there. A hodgepodge of different things that wouldn't go in the same area even in the weirdest minds. His eyes ran up the outside of the hallway, which from the outside looked like a pillar rising to the far away ceiling. Lights hung from up there, some burned out or broken, and they were the only thing you could see that was any sort of marker on where you were. "And we're supposed to find an item, one item, in this!" he exclaimed.

(I'm not really sure what to do with Noé and Snake at the moment.) Kuragehime mintedstar/furAsuramaru was still staring at Myrnin, snorting a little as he said how smart he was. "Sure," he muttered, rolling his eyes slightly before tilting his head to one side. He run a hand through his hair with a grin. "How did I become a demon? I used to be a vampire like yourself, but I used to go by a different name. I don't know if you knew an Ashera Tepes? Anyways, I was killed and reborn as a demon," he simply shrugged after he was done speaking. "I'm part of the Black Demon series, a katana." -- spiritdeath Mint Roxie frowned a bit as they continued through the museum. So it looked like their job was going to be harder than she had previously thought. There were so many items in the small hallway they were walking down. "I, uh, think we should at least get a little hint of what these items look like, don't you think?" She asked, glancing towards the other two she was with.

Or did just die. It is very odd having to us past-tense when referring to yourself." He was rambling and seemed to quite enjoy it. He hesitated a second before adding, "Hey, wait. Did you just say you were a sword?" He looked back at Asuramaru again, eyes slightly disbelieving. -- I'll wait for spiritdeath. ))

Kuragehime mintedstar/fur"Common vampires in my world look exactly as I do right now. Pointed ears, fangs, red eyes, you know all that stuff, but they don't have horns," Asuramaru muttered with a smirk. "However in my opinion, vampires are nastier than demons. In fact, I am capable of killing you right now if I wanted, but we are already dead." The boy tapped his bare foot on the ground, crossing his arms. "And yes of course in a sword. If you don't believe me, I can show you, but you might not be able to handle my power." Without waiting for a reply, he switched over to his sword form, which now lay on the ground at their feet.

(Busy week-induced late replies! Yay!) AuranskyThe bookshelf was easy to find. It just took a quick walk to go back to it. Most of the books were in other languages, some of which were completely alien to Kazuya, but he managed to pick out a certain book. Just by touching it, he could feel the strange energy within. He flipped it open and was greeted with the image of a Pixie, a Kabuso... "This must be it." mintedstar/fur broken Kuragehime"What were those instructions for?" Quote asked. It may have been important if there were multiple copies. It might even be related to the museum's functions... what governed the museum's functions? A computer? Some magic? tinybreezeMinato followed, once they reached the bookcase, he exaimed the various books all in different languages more foreign then friendly. When his companion pulled out a book from the shelf, he leaned over to glimpse at the book. It had quite a bit of mythology on it, but then again demons and angels... He recognized Pixie nearly letting out a mutter from his lips. "P-Pixie.." He spoke once he collected his words. There might be more to this after all..broken mintedstar/furLelouch nodded, recalling the way they came. If there was one thing he was good at, was recalling and observation. "If we back up a bit, and turn right in the next corridor, it should lead us back down the main hall." He suggested. "The main hall seems to run quite a long way around the area we've been exploring. If we keep that assumption in mind, it might be safe to assume that it takes a round around the entire facility.... however long and large this place may be." Kuragehime Mint"In a way.." Akira replied. "To find a way through, or potential alternatives. And that can either be that it was laid out as a fail safe, or someone else came long before and under sable's nose laid out the ground work. But those are possibilities and until we know more cannot even be considered theories." He frowned at the thought. "So for now we cling to this and keep hush with anyone else we may encounter. Until we know if this is intended, a safe lock, or death: we need to keep an open yet cautious mind." ((O.o Matpat is at it again with FNAF theories :c ))

broken Kuragehime Myrnin looked down at the sword, not sure if he should be impressed or confused. "Not...able to handle my power...? Am I supposed to be seeing that yet?" Myrnin had all the identifiers of being a vampire apart for the pointed ears, though the fangs and eyes could be hid if he needed them to be. He was fairly sure that he couldn't, or ever would be able to, turn into a sword.

tinybreeze, broken, and mintedstar/fur: Zoro's hand moved away from his swords and his facial features relaxed a bit, but the rest of his body still stayed a little tense. The suspicion in his one-eyed gaze remained as he spoke up to voice a question. "I don't have much experience with computers but that, uh, file getting corrupted won't effect the museum?" ~~~ broken and Mint: Okabe jumped back a little with the demon suddenly became a sword. His widened eyes blinked a couple times before his raised arms relaxed and fell to his sides once more. "I wasn't aware you could do that... or that anyone could do that..." he said. Sure, he may have turned normal everyday bananas into piles of green gel, but a person turning into a sword was new. It was like something out of his childhood fantasies. ~~~ Auransky and Mint: Aizen looked up from the crystal at Akira and Kid. "Hold it up to the wall, you said?" he asked, though it was a rhetorical question. Holding it carefully at either side he held it up and straight out facing the wall with the glowing letters.

Auransky brokenSally followed, wordlessly for a while. "As long as it is easy to find our way back to it, then I do not care where we end up." She considered the idea of using one of the bedroom area places as a base. It was possible, as long as the group stayed small, but the bedrooms weren't really that good for one. "There were other doors around the hallway," she remembered. "They probably have more than bedrooms. At least, you would think they would." And there were other rooms within the hallways. One full of old, dusty furniture, came to mind. Chairs set up around a table and a hand-drawn set of maps, as if someone had been trying to map out the museum, even though it stretched outward forever. The last group, before this one, that had escaped the museum, had lived here for a long time. They'd had the same idea that Lelouch had. They'd needed a base too. So, somewhere, within the hallways, there was still that room.

Screenname: Kuragehime Name: Alucard Where they are from: Hellsing Gender: Male Age: Over 500 Headcannons (if any): Nope Powers (if any): Regeneration, increased speed/strength, typical vampire things, shapeshifting, can be out in daylight, he's pretty over-powered so I'm going to limit his obviously xD Tell me. Are we alive?: This is a deep question you ask... just kidding, we're dead Path Chosen: Undecided Group player or single player?: Probably group Other: He also wields two handguns, Jackal and Casull, the former is black and latter is silver.
Starting Role-Play post:
Alucard's blood red eyes opened and squinted in the bright light shining down on him. This isn't my room... Lifting a hand up to block the light he sat up and swung his legs around so his feet were touching the floor, which didn't take much considering his height. To his right on a small wooden nightstand lay his crimson wide-brimmed hat and rounded sunglasses neatly set beside it. Plopping the hat atop his wavy mop of black hair, he grinned to find his two guns sitting on the stand as well...along with a small slip of paper. He quickly read through it and let out a laugh. "So I'm dead huh? An undead such as myself?" he said, laughing more. He dismissed the writing and crumpled up the paper before stuffing it into a pocket of his scarlet frock overcoat. With that he got up and walked out of the room, looking either way down the hall. He felt the presences of at least a couple other vampires, and decided that taking a look around the place was more of a priority than making a decision on that silly little paper.
Here he is! Not sure when I'll be on tomorrow, probably late >_<]]
