This is the strangest layout for a museum ever," she said, her eyes resting on the book she had been flipping through. "Oh that was here when I came here. I thought it might have something useful in it. Apparently not." She was about to question him more about the museum, but he seemed to have changed the subject pretty quickly. "Because I want to? Would you prefer I not wear the mask?" She asked softly. -- Mint, tinybreeze"Do computers usually do that? I think I'll stick to fine print," Noé commented, kind of jokingly before he noticed that this was a serious situation. After a moment, he pointed to the droplets that were growing. "This is strange, it reminds me of something..." the vampire began backing away from he computer slowly. "I think we should leave this room. This was a trap. It had to be!"

The strange substance was already growing onto... no, consuming the screen and desk. He was about to run for the door, but... "Grab anything you can. We can't let this eat anything of use," he commanded. They couldn't come here only to gain nothing.

(Sorry for the late reply. ) "It isn't necessary," chuckled a voice. It wasn't easy to tell if it was male or female, but held a slight lilt that made you lean toward the idea of male. The voice was speaking from a set of hidden loudspeakers, so dead-noise hissed in the background. "I have you on file, Miss Emi. I know what choice you made." Sable didn't use his hologram or paper crane messengers this time, falling back on his old mode of contact with those within the Museum. (You're fine!) Emi nearly jumped out of her skin, putting a hand over her heart and taking a deep breath. Her face flickered from being startled to embarrassed, then quickly turned into confusion. She scrunched up her nose and muttered "Miss?" before standing and looking around a bit to find where the ambiguously-gendered-but-possibly-male voice came from. This guy (?) could hear her, which also meant they might be able to see her as well, which definitely made her sort of uncomfortable. "...Am I having a nervous breakdown or something?" (Yet he seemed to mange annoying just fine. It wasn't like he tried to be, but kidnapping random souls and pulling them all in Museum that more closely resembled a rummage-sale might have gotten some of the people here off on the wrong foot.) Dead noise echoed over the loudspeakers for a couple more seconds and then he added. "You see stressed." The statement was more of a veiled question. --- Spirit and broken"Alright," said Lupin with a shrug. He wouldn't have cared if she wasn't a normal human. After all, he wasn't. He was about to answer her question about looking around when a figure approaching caught his attention. He looked at her, curious, and wanted to ask her the very same question she'd just asked them. "No, actually," he said. "We just got here as well." He pointed around. "We were about to look around to see if we could find out anything." -- (I would say, at this point, would it be alright to have Myrnin run into Asuramaru and Okabe, but I'll save that until I get back. -.- )

Zoro asked, and started grabbing them before anyone answered. He stacked both arms as high as he could, nearly to the ceiling, and headed for the door of the room. Kagura, curious as ever, came around behind the desk to see what the stuff was that was eating away at the computer screen. She leaned in close and stared at it. "Hey, do you think if we brought it outside it would melt the whole museum?" she asked jokingly, giggling a little as she jumped back and picked up a few books. ~~~ --cato phoenix, 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨, and Mint: Nyx looked over his shoulder at Newt and soon the rest of his body followed. "They were pretty neat coming through here, not in too much of a rush," he murmured, walking over to investigate the opened case. "Probably had something of particular interest to them," he added, taking a guess. He looked down the hall, wondering if they'd run into this other group if they continued down that way.

And more importantly, how long had it been since they'd been through the area? Were they still there somewhere? She turned slightly away from the case and looked around but she didn't see anyone other than the people in her small group.

Sometimes patience is the key, on the other hand pressing forward never hurts." tinybreezeMinato looked away with a minor frown, it appeared like Kazuya was lost in his mind for a brief moment. Considering their discussion , perhaps it was still lingering in his thoughts. He walked around the room without much thought, "do your connections need to be conditioned, or exercised?" He asked. "I'm not to familiar with demons, for us" he began, "personas grow through exprrience, and connections within our comrades. Overtime we grow as friends and it's those links which boost our connections."

Suddenly, letters in sliver started to trace themselves on the nearest wall. Paths of thought lead to your goals."Gah!" said Kid, taking a hurried step back. "What did that?" -- 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨 --cato phoenix and hime "Don't know..." said Newt, taking out his wand. "But I can find out." He pointed at the case and thought a spell. Gold sparks flew out, outlining what used to be in the case. "A...gun?" asked the wizard, a little surprised. It was a little oddly shaped, but the golden sparks seemed to outline one. He frowned a little. "Is it a good idea that we seem to be following the trail of someone with a gun?" -- tinybreeze, broken and hime: Conan growled as Kagura seemed to want to take dripping stuff out. Even if it was a joke, it was wasting time. "Come on! We need to go before that stuff eats the whole room." He picked up a couple of books and looked around the room once before he exited the door. He left it open for the others and was glad when it led back to the same part of the Museum they had just left. -- I'll reply to the other group as soon as I can, broken and Dia. ^^' My muse is having a little trouble today.))

(I'm so sorry broken! I've already let Minted know and I meant to tell you in my last post, but I should have told you that I'm leaving tomorrow (today? It's 12:27) until I believe the second of July. If you'd like to RP Roxie with someone else since I'll be gone, I wouldn't mind at all, but of course it's up to you. I know it must be annoying for me to jump in, make one post and then leave.)
Cameron looked a bit curious at Roxie’s mask, but decided not to ask about it for now, instead focusing on their offer. “I would love to! I was going to eventually, but I feel a lot better if I'm not alone while doing so.” She walked a bit closer and offered her hand to shake. “I'm Cameron.”

It is kept until the contract ends... or, what nearly happened to Jezebel's previous user, the demon consumes them. But that's the only case of the latter that I know of. I was only able to strengthen my contact with the Bels after stepping into my role as the demon overlord," Kazuya explained, watching a small flame dance along his fingertips. mintedstar/fur broken KuragehimeQuote managed to grab his bat and a few books. However, as he tried to grab a few more, his arm gave out and the books fell the floor.. The robot winced. Right, his body was still damaged. He settled for taking a few lighter books and dashed out the door.

She accepted it, dipping her head some. "Nice to meet you. My name's Roxie," she said, then pulled away after a moment, gesturing towards the other person she was with. "And this is Lupin." -- KuragehimeAsuramaru looked over at Okabe with a bored expression on his face. "Okay cool, I really didn't need to know that," he muttered before looking forward again, stepping over a few stray boxes on the ground. "No, the first thing I ran into was an obnoxious human who was no help whatsoever." He really didn't care if he hurt the scientist's feelings. "Did you find anything?"

He had a sort of old world feel about him and you got the sense he should have been speaking Old English (his clothes certainly looked like they were from that time period). He straightened and began to play with the ebony ring on his finger again. "I don't really know where we would start. Do either of you have a suggestion on which direction we should try?"

The hybrid turned to watch them, not really sure what to say. There was nothing wrong with stopping to look, but he had thought that they wanted to catch up with the other group before the scent disappeared. When he noticed that the vampire pulled out, he didn't even smile in the slightest. Instead, he looked away and approached another item that was on the giant heap of junk, which looked to be a music box. He picked it up, staring at it without opening it up. -- spiritdeath Mint Roxie grinned, shakigbher head slightly as she watched Lupin do his greeting. Though at the question, she blinked a few times, then shrugged. "I don't really think it should matter? I mean, if this is a museum, should t it just loop back to the beginning at some point?" She asked outloud, glancing around some. She began messing with her necklace as she thought. The girl eventually pointed in a direction she hadn't gone before. "Maybe we can head there?"

When sally brought up the vampire costume, he glimpsed halfway, before returning his attention to everything before him. It was a lot of stuff, something the nobles of Britania would have lost their minds over. He shrugged feeling like he would never find what he was looking for. Then stood up, sliding everything back with his foot. "Perhaps finding a place to call base would be a good objective."

The black substance had eaten half the room at this point. "Is everyone alright? We should close the door as soon as possible." There was a chance that the door would be eaten, too, but maybe it would slow the black substance down. (Now that I think about it, Amane would be good for an option 2 character...)
