@bolderpelt
Myrnin was kind of surprised that he had to do this, but he did his best to step between the two Time Lords his hands up. "Hey! No killing each other." "Not like we aren't finding this all very interesting to watch," Oliver said dryly. His eyes still held the hardness from before. It seemed that whatever the Doctor had done to destroy his planet hadn't been thought out the first time, otherwise he would have gone back. If he had cared about the people there, why kill them the first time? Oliver, though he had seen war many times, couldn't understand. This was possibly because he had never ran into anything that could effect time enough to have options like that. The vampire wasn't heartless, however much he made himself out to be. He had some sympathy for the Doctor. But he didn't have very much. The gloomy vampire sighed and rolled his eyes so he was no longer looking at the two Time Lords. Ever since he'd come to this place he hadn't been able to escape the drama, whether it was theirs or some that he and Myrnin had dragged along. It probably wouldn't get any better. "Psycho brother?" he questions, knowing he'd regret diving into anything having to do with these two families. "Kids?" If anything, this was meant to change the subject. "Though," he grumbled under his breath. "How they judge that his brother is psycho must have been difficult. He really must be crazy if these two nuts made it off the radar."

(Like, you could input all the tag names the one time, then every time you put some BODY, it would convert into all those tags. Be really handy.) some BODY"When Sable appeared on the glass wall. You might have seen it, well, the broken pieces of it, when you walked through the main hallways." He held out his hands to about the size of a square, small music box. "Freedom's about this large, with black designs all over it. It's kind of like Celtic Knots, if you know what those looks like." some BODY (And quoting this post just because...) Quote gave Noé a small smile. He'd been alone for a long time, yet it would be lonely without most of the group here. Even so, he felt like this was the right choice. The robot watched Conan, eyes focusing on nothing in particular as he tried to picture Freedom. A small box with black markings... "It seems rather hard to miss, if it's that unique." some BODY (Yep.) (That ghost bird did some damage on this side.) "It's small, however," pointed out Conan. "In a, probably infinitely, large museum. The fact that we even have an idea where Sable's Life is only because Sable himself likes to play games and told us." He scowled as he walked into the other side of the museum. It looked like something large had ran into everything since he'd last been this way. "Fire on one side and on this side it looks like someone drove a truck through half of the piles. You'd think Sable would care if all of this got broken." He pointed at the nearest broken box and a tumbled down stack of...barrels? Well, okay then.

(Alright, I'm basically editing and moving the front page around. News is now just above credit (i.e. all the way at the bottom) and rules/joining form/member list is in the main post. The stuff describing the Museum is now in the second post and this week I should be adding a lot to it and editing what is already there. If anyone has any suggestions on what I should add/delete/change, shout now please. )

"Though," he grumbled under his breath. "How they judge that his brother is psycho must have been difficult. He really must be crazy if these two nuts made it off the radar." The Doctor was clearly still peeved as Myrnin separated the two of them. The Master just looked smug, turning to look at Oliver, as The Doctor seemed to apparently want to brood in silence now, arms crossed over his chest and eyes cast down one side of the hallway. The Master felt bad, well, not bad, but a little uncomfortable. "Yeah, kids," The Master informed, shrugging, "after we broke up we both got married again. As for his brother, well, maybe he's not as crazy as the two of us, but he did run half the planet."

@bolderpelt (I hope that's run and not ruin. If it is ruin, that sentence can change to 'And that makes you more crazy?' if you like...) "Running half the planet makes you crazy?" asked Myrnin as Oliver rolled his eyes. At least this had distracted the Master...somewhat. Maybe Myrnin's hyperactivity could draw the Doctor back as well. Oliver sort of drifted after the Doctor, but not so much so that it would look like he was trying to talk to him. He looked back at Myrnin, who seemed a little out of sorts. He had that lopsided grin that was his version of a frown and seemed to be trying to recapture some form of conversation. Myrnin really wasn't sure what to say and was trying to think of something. Clearly asking about the Master's and the Doctor's world hadn't gone so well. So he said the first thing that popped into his head, "You know, I've time traveled before." Seemed like it might still be related to the topic at least. Myrnin's lopsided smile slipped a little more.

[[ i think it's run. idek. ]]
"When you run it like he does it makes you crazy," The Master grumbled. He wasn't too interested in Myrnin's talk about time travel, so he just kept walking, leaving The Doctor to stew or to do whatever. He didn't really care. Meanwhile, The Doctor was intrigued, his mind immediately latching onto something else, well, anything else to allow him to not think about the war. "Really?" he asked, a soft smile gracing his face, "to when?"

mintedstar/fur AuranskySnake blinked as if not really sure that to do at the moment. He was just a little surprised that the plan had worked. The hybrid took a few steps back, nodding slowly before turning and following after Lelouch and Sally, though he kept glancing over his shoulder at the creature. "So where are we off to now? Asks Keats." -- @ everyone Noé shrugged at what Quote had said. It was true, but there were a lot more items in the museum. He slowly followed after Conan, kicking a few things to the side. "I still don't understand why he wants us to go on a hunt for these items. He could at least give us a hint or something," the vampire shrugged, looking around at the group to see what they thought. "And if we're already dead, why does he keep creating things that will kill us again? That fire, for example."

@bolderpelt (*shrugs* Wanted to check.)
Well, thought Myrnin. At least one of them was interested. My options for things to talk about were limited anyway. "Oh god," Myrnin muttered, closing his eyes as he tried to remember the year. "Uh, hard to remember really. Around the mid-17th century or so? I can’t really say that I was in a position to look at a calendar.” “What he means,” said Oliver, once again in a dry voice. “Is that he went into his own past and meddled. His past self was too insane to remember his own name, never mind the year. So Myrnin never bothered to find out the year either.” Myrnin shot him a look, but what he said was true. “Yes, well,” he muttered. He closed his eyes, the tightness around the edges showing just how bad those years had been. He opened them again and gave a full body shrug. “Well, I can’t say that it was fun, but I did what I needed to.” He waved a hand around at the Museum and said, “This also hasn’t been the first time I’ve been stuck in a place without time either.”

Ah, right. In a museum this large, finding one thing would be very time-consuming. "He'll have to give us a hint sometime..." he muttered. The museum wasn't organized in any clear way. All the items were odd and out of place. Especially these barrels, he thought, giving one a small kick. "I'm not sure if we can 'die,' but we can get hurt. At the very least, the museum can break our bodies... or are they are souls?"

"Amusement," Conan said with scorn. "He's the type who likes to feel in power." But he didn't really believe that. There was something else there. Something they had found out yet. "A hint will probably turn up sooner or later," Conan added, eyes downcast. He wasn't sure what to say about the 'dead' part. "I still don't believe we are dead," said Conan, looking around. "He can't prove it one way or another, can he? And if we can die here, what does that prove." He stepped over the remains of a barrel. "Best not to be philosophical. Just continue and play whatever game it is." ( @bolderpelt Kuragehime You two want to put anything in? ^^' )

"You know, I can relate," he informed nonchalantly, "interaction with your past or future selves can be... destructive, at the most. At the least, well, it does definitely mess with your memory." He laughed softly, rubbing at his hair. The sweat was still on his brow, but he looked more at ease than he had a minute ago. "But, you have to do what you have to do." He yelled that last part after The Master with gusto, who ignored him.

@bolderpelt ( A question was raised this evening... can either of those two drive (drive well, that is)? )
"Ha, ha," said Myrnin, not feeling the words. "My memory is so messed up that nothing could make it worse. Time travel didn't even effect it." Oliver didn't say anything else on the matter. He had only heard about the time travel bit three years after it had happened. Needless to say that it had cause mild problems in some form or another. He sped up until he was walking to the left of the Master, but several dozen paces away. "Future selves, however," said Myrnin. "Would be beyond the powers of what I used. It is...dangerous enough delving into my own past." He was remembering Ada. "Ada," said Oliver, taking a leaf out of the Master's book and dragging out just what Myrnin didn't want to talk about. He bent his head a little, not meeting anyone's eyes. "You're talking about Ada."

[[ hm, i don't know, actually. ]]
"Who... who's Ada?" The Doctor could feel the tension rise suddenly, in the air around them. He raised one eyebrow as he looked between the two of them, and then down the hall. He could still see The Master, so he looked back to the vampires. His friend would be fine. He could hold his own, and The Doctor had no doubt that he would attack anything that might've messed with him, since he was already in a bad mood anyways. Maybe he shouldn't have asked who Ada was. He could tell that it was striking a nerve with both of them, just like the Time War had with him and The Master.

@bolderpelt (Any protests about throwing in some type of motorized vehicle in the future? Oliver and Myrnin can't drive to save their lives...)
The tension rose higher and Oliver waited to see if Myrnin would answer. He looked out of the corner of his eye, seeing if he could catch a glimpse of the other vampire's face. But he couldn't without turning his head and he didn't want it to be that obvious that he was watching. "The simple form of it is that she was my girlfriend," Myrnin finally said. His voice was raw, eyes half closed and blood red. "She was a vampire and feared nothing. But in old Morganville there used to be a sickness that effected only vampires and," a rattling sigh escaped his mouth. "It caused you to slowly go insane. I was the worse off. I would have moments of complete insanity and in one of those moments...I killed her." They all seemed to have traitorous little stories like that in their background, didn't they? Myrnin looked away and down, not meeting anyone's eyes. Oliver gave a single cough, still not turning. Myrnin's attention snapped back, eyes narrowed and fiery. "You can seriously expect me to tell the rest, do you?" Oliver said nothing. Myrnin covered his face with one hand and spoke around it. "If that wasn't enough, I couldn't let her go. I trapped her soul within one of my machine. She went mad because of it...and I had to kill her a second time." Stating that he hadn't been in the right frame of mind at the time wouldn't help his conscious. It was probably the worst mistake he had ever made within his immortal life and he would never forgive himself. He waited, eyes closed, lost in his own tortured memories.

[[ i looked it up, and apparently the doctor used to own a car like way back in the show, so no protests from me. also, i just remembered he was driving around a van screaming at pedestrians last season, so we should be fine. ]]
The Doctor was frowning as he listened. His heart twisted for Myrnin, and for a moment, he couldn't help but think of River. God, he missed her, and he'd killed her, but he thought that personally, he'd shared enough for today. "Myrnin... I'm sorry," he said after a moment, bowing his head and wrapping his thin arms around his own body. He would've given the vampire a hug, being the touchy person he was, but he held himself back . He knew if it were him he wouldn't have wanted it. He wouldn't have felt like he'd deserved it, in all honesty.

@bolderpelt ( :3 How's he with motorcycles? That's a rhetorical question, by the way. Whatever it is, Myrnin will crash it into a wall and then claim that he 'isn't that bad at driving'. )
"Nothing to be sorry about," Myrnin muttered arms crossed, still not meeting anyone's eyes. He lapsed into silence so thick that even Oliver didn't think anything could break it. Someone better try, before Myrnin really sunk low. He had been doing pretty well as far as Oliver had seen. But he didn't plan on say that. He sighed. Myrnin was unlikely to be willing to talk any more about his past. That really only left a subject he brought up himself. "Would you know anything about creatures called the draug?" he asked both the Time Lords. Myrnin's head slowly raised and though he still seemed out of it, he was paying attention.

[[ very good with those too he's a talented lil boy ]]
"No, what's that?" The Doctor asked, while The Master turned from where he had wandered off to, shaking his head even though he was so far away, and it was debatable as to whether either of the vampires would have even noticed. The Doctor had met many weird creatures in his life. Fish people, cat people, horses with the heads and tails of dragons, robots, giant space whales... but he was learning through this whole ordeal that there were things, things from other universes in fact, that he hadn't seen before. It was frustrating, but at the same time enlightening. He'd always had a love for learning, and learning about anything. He ate up knowledge at an astounding rate.

@bolderpelt (Then this will be amusing. :3)
Oliver did notice the Master shake his head and gave a slightly pleased smile because he liked knowing things others didn't. "Draug are the natural enemies of vampires," Oliver explained. "The Draug are also called Sirens, but not the type you'd think of. Though they have a compelling song that could attract humans and drown them, they mainly feed off vampires." He paused to see if Myrnin would say anything, but realized he'd have to put out some bait. His eyes sparkled and he said, "I used to be one." Myrnin chuckled dryly, finally speaking. "You end it there of course." At least he said something, Oliver thought. But though he waited to see if Myrnin would say anything more that was all the other vampire said. Oliver sighed and looked between the two Time Lords. "Any guesses on how I'm a vampire now?" He hated having to play this game, but really, Myrnin was harder to deal with if he got gloomy. Myrnin snorted at what Oliver said, but still had that distant look on his face.

"You sang a song to a pretty vampire and they bit you!" The Master called, now once more engaged in the conversation, and weaving his way back over to the group, even though they had started moving towards him. The Doctor seemed to have forgotten their little scuffle, like he always did, so he assumed that it was safe. "You got bored of your job," The Doctor suggested, not too seriously. He had his hands in his pockets, walking along beside the two vampires and trying very hard to pretend that none of that had just happened.

@bolderpelt Oliver didn't even warrant those 'guesses' with a retort. But Myrnin gave a small smile, so maybe he could let it slide. "No," Oliver said. "The Draug have a single master, who controls them like puppets. Many vampires only bothered with destroying the puppets because they couldn't get to the master, but the master always made more. Draug can't be made from humans, they have to be made from vampires." He tilted his head at Myrnin and said, "He was one of the few of us in Morganville who never had to experience that joy." The sarcasm could be cut. "Kill the Master before the transformation is fully complete and vampires would revert back to being just vampires." His expression was sour. That hadn't been a pleasant experience. Mostly because he owed his life to Myrnin, Claire and her friends. Most of the Morganville vampires did. "You had to admit that draug have some cool abilities though," said Myrnin, finally speaking again. "I think I prefer what I'm stuck with," said Oliver. "Maybe dissolving into a puddle of water, singing, and drowning people is more your style."

The Doctor listened, nodding along as they spoke while The Master walked back over to them, falling into step with the others, not really paying too much attention. "Huh, interesting," The Doctor replied, after they were done, and he really did mean that, "I'd never heard of a draug before. Have you two ever heard of... Silurians?"

"Huh, interesting," The Doctor replied, after they were done, and he really did mean that, "I'd never heard of a draug before. Have you two ever heard of... Silurians?" "In folklore they are a type of undead creature that were the souls of drowned sailors," Myrnin spoke up. Because of course he knew all the folklore. "Scandinavian folklore if you want the specifics." Oliver shrugged when the Doctor started asking questions. "Never heard of them," was his quick and only reply. Myrnin thought about it for a second and you could almost see him trying to match a name to any and all bits of information in his head. "Nooo," he said, looking up with wide eyes. He looked excited. "I've never heard of Silurians." Oliver gave a small, thin lipped smile. That question alone had done more good for Myrnin than anything Oliver had tired. Figured.

"Well," The Doctor began, folding his hands behind his back, "where I'm from, well, no, on my Earth, there's these things called Silurians that live underground. They're lizard people, actually, humanoid lizards. I don't see them very often; they don't like me because I look human, but when they do show up it's normally a big fiasco. I don't know if it's the same for you boys, but when humans find out that they're sharing their planet with something else they get a bit testy."

Oliver and Myrnin looked at each other, then turned their attention back to the Doctor. "Oh, we know," they said, almost in unison. Oliver looked very annoyed (though how you could tell since it was his usual expression?) that they had spoken at the same time, but really didn't feel like saying anything more. Myrnin titled his head and said, "Two questions. What do they do then? and What do you do on your Earth anyway?" It was one question for the current subject and one that he'd been wondering about for some time. He pointed to the Master. "Last question goes for you as well, please."

"Well, normally they'll try to shoot them, or call the police or something. So, I have to get in between and make sure that the people stay safe, as well as the lizard people," The Doctor shrugged, "ah, as for what I do, I kind of do that. I go around helping people; I have for a really long time." Since he was around one hundred in fact, and he was around one thousand something now. Now, The Master did not help people. He did quite the opposite, and he admitted it, saying, "Well, I followed The Doctor to Earth when we were younger, but I more inhibit instead of help. I quite enjoy being the rock in his shoe."

"Yes, while that is true, you still have to think about the possibilities of this place," Noé said with a shrug, still slowly looking around, though he didn't touch any of the items in fear that something else might happen. The vampire looked at the small group. "And I don't know why you still don't believe that we're dead. I, for one, know we must be because I am unable to hear your heartbeats." He said that softly as he quickened his pace a bit, heading straight for the other side of the museum. "Besides that, we should focus on whatever it is we have to find"

He did quite the opposite, and he admitted it, saying, "Well, I followed The Doctor to Earth when we were younger, but I more inhibit instead of help. I quite enjoy being the rock in his shoe." "That never works," Myrnin pointed out. "Well, it doesn't work for the humans very well." If humans tried to shoot a vampire it would have no effect, unless it was possibly an arrow. Oliver had simply given the Doctor a blank look at this new information. What he was thinking was more along the lines of Drat. He does something similar to what I do. At least, it sounds like it. I'd rather not find something that we have in common.Oliver would never called what he did as 'helping people'. That type of sickening statement was beneath him. But he was a sort of medium between the humans, vampires, and Daylighter's humans. He made sure they didn't all kill each other and oversaw deals between them. Oliver cursed under his breath when Myrnin said with a grin, pointing at the grumpy vampire. "He does stuff like that too." Oliver's face remained blank and he said through gritted teeth, "Talk to me and you die." "He just isn't nice about it," Myrnin added. He then turned and asked the Master, "So basically you just like annoying him? Seems like a pretty boring existence, it would get repetitive."
