Kuragehime "What is the point of this line of questioning?" asked AIDAN. The voice was toneless and could have been male or female. AIDAN didn't particularly have a feeling one way or the other about being the museum's main system now. In his insanity, he had only the museum's safety to consider. Funny, the museum's safety was actually programmed into this system... AIDAN hadn't put that feature in. The settings where there. He could use whatever electronic he had to. Had that been Sable's power before? Sable was messing with a bit of coding near the edge of thought. AIDAN was starting to wonder if he was a computer virus or a person. It was impossible to tell. Kid frowned at AIDAN's silence. "Are you still there?" he asked. "Yes," replied AIDAN. His answers where short, never using more words than necessary. "I have no feelings on the matter," AIDAN finally replied to Aizen. "Interesting," Aizen murmured, though he was frowning slightly. "What is the extent of your abilities, if you don't mind my asking?" he wondered, this time going for the direct route. He closely watched the phone in his hand, ready to throw it away if the slightest thing looked wrong. Kid raised an eyebow, not expecting ADIAN to answer that question. He was honestly surprised that the phone had exploded yet. "Anything electronic. That does not include beings that are marked as players in Sable's game. So, the robot around the left wing hallway can not be controlled. I am also unable to use electronics that have been molded with magic." Kid's surprise was clearly shown on his face. He hadn't expected the AI to answer. Off wherever he was, AIDAN started to heat the phone to an uncomfortable temperature. Not to the point of burns, but enough to express that he was tired of the questions.

(Improvise it is!) "I had eternity before I came here. It gets boring," pouted Myrnin. He tried to cross his arms, but the light from the thing in his hand annoyed him to much, so he put his clenched fist back in his pocket. He pointed with his free hand at a couple of random items. "As I said before, there's probably something here that could assist that search. But we'd have to risk testing them out. Or we could try finding that flying dragon statue and ask its opinion on the matter." He looked over at the Doctor, knowing he had been mildly interested in the latter before. "Either that, or you could suggest something, Mister Smart Alien." This seemed to be directed at either of the two. The Doctor glanced at him, rolling his eyes before informing, "Well, considering the fact that the flying dragon statue is probably just as temperamental as the moving tiger statue that tried to eat your face, I think that it might be better to find our answers somewhere else." Now, let's see, we could try and find some sort of logging system for this place. I find it hard to believe that there wouldn't be one, considering that our captors seem to like to be in control... or, we could take our chances with finding some sort of magical item in this place, with the risk of getting killed by it." Myrnin considered the idea of a logging system, surprised that he hadn't thought of it before. "Now that would be interesting. Looking for a logging system...hum...but at this point, I don't even know where to begin to look. I mean, which way is the hallway?" He looked around as if expecting to see it behind a crate or behind a kite that was laying on one of the piles. "Or even if it is in the area of the hallways." He shrugged and eyed a random item. "I thought that was the intention, what with me looking for Freedom and all. But I see your point. Never know what it will do before I end up dead. I don't like pain." That didn't stop him from kicking another random item, though. Unlike a lot of the items, it actually did something before the vampires foot connected. It was a little like a top, with odd yellow stripes. It started to spin and admit a shrill whistling sound until Myrnin hopped a few steps back. Them it just fell over and stopped making noise. Being Myrnin, the vampire grinned and tried to kick it again. (Because eardrum damage is fun!)

Being The Master, the Time Lord lunged forward to give Myrnin a sort of bearhug in an attempt to stop him from kicking the spinning top and making that god awful sound again. "I think that's enough now," he informed as his thin arms wrapped around the vampire's body. Time Lord hearing was very sensitive. Very. The ringing was almost unbearable with how shrill it was, and though not the most annoying sound he was dealing with (cough, drums, cough) he didn't want to add anymore onto that. "Are you going to be good if I let go?" he asked after a moment, craning his neck to try and see Myrnin's face.

(I got lost, but I think I read everything xD) Kuragehime, mintedstar/fur tinybreeze LarkNoe looked at everyone in the group, but at Zoro in particular for a moment. "Yes, a snake. The thing didn't make any sense as it spoke, but it told us something that was probably useful." The vampire shrugged, then took a small step forward, slightly raising his hand. "If I can suggest us staying together? We would cover more ground that way than if we were split up and lost."

His voice was short and clipped, unlike his usual one. In fact, it was almost cold. He didn't struggle, but it was a challenge. He could have easily broken the Master's hold if shock hadn't been holding him back. The whistling had hurt his ears as well, maybe not as bad, but he had not considered what the Master would do.

"Yeah, well, sorry." His face was still blank, but feeling was starting to enter his voice again. He felt a little embarrassed at his own reaction. He spun on his heals sharply. "I will stop kicking random items." His face, once blank, broke into a rather deep frown when his back was to the Master and the Doctor. "I am going this way. Whether it leads to someplace of importance or not will be seen." Once his face was successfully back to a grin, he turned to look back. "Coming?" He wasn't sure what to do and really, one direction was as good as another. The glider had turned him completely around and he now had no idea which way the hallways where. Something moved within the piles and Myrnin caught it out of the corner of his eye. "And something moved!" he said, looking a little unnerved. Something with feathers made of stone stuck its head around a briefcase. It appeared to be a rooster, as far as the vampire knew. "And...uh...not as impressive as that jade tiger was," Myrnin pointed out. (Edit: Who wrote this and what time at night was it. XD The typos are killing me.)

stranger and Mint: Kagura followed quietly after Conan and Eleven, which was odd for her, twirling the umbrella resting on her shoulder. "Wow, boring," she commented on the room they had just opened up before looking over at Eleven to listen to the girl's explanation. "Why don't we make something happen? That will get his attention and make him come to us, yes?" she suggested. Eleven gave Kagura a look, thinking that she meant that Eleven was boring, but looked away when she realized that that wasn't the case. "If we make something happen we could get hurt," she warned softly, "we should try to find him first and surprise him."
"Where to look though," pointed out Conan. "The hallways are simple to search, but then we had the whole of the museum." He opened another door and at least this time there was a chair in the room as well. "So, maybe Kagura's idea is the better one." He looked down at his shoes. "I think I could bust some furniture at least."

Mint:
"So there's our answer," Aizen murmured, still looking down at the phone. If he was surprised it didn't manifest itself on his face. The heat from the phone took a moment to seep through the power-suppressing gloves wrapped tightly around his hands, and when it did Aizen placed it on a (conveniently) nearby end table. "I am getting the feeling that is all he wants to say for now," he said. AIDAN hadn't given any long answers, but at least they knew what he could and couldn't do now...and they knew where another individual was. With one last glance at the phone Aizen searched for any other pieces of technology lying around, and found himself grinning at the thought of having control over the place. It wouldn't be the same as having Soul Society in the palm of his hand, but it would at least be good practice. (No Aizen stop, you can only have one xD)
~~~
Mint, Stranger:
Kagura looked to Eleven and shrugged, staying quiet and surprising wasn't really her style. Her preferred method was to rush in guns a'blazing - it was a family thing. After Conan finished she nodded and curled the fingers of one hand into a fist. "I can take care of another wall or two, easy," she said. She lightly tapped her foot against the wall beside her and grinned, but waited for a final confirmation from either of the other two.
~~~
Stranger, Arlo:
"I'm going to hazard a guess that this outer area is smaller than inside the museum - I really hope that's the case - so we could try a quick search out here first. If we take too long without finding anything then back into the museum we go," Nyx then suggested, looking to Buck for his thoughts. He had a bad feeling this was all a wild goose chase, but sincerely hoped that was not the case.
~~~
Broken, Mint, tinybreeze, Rowlet:
"A talking snake," Zoro murmured. "This place is weird." The pirate took another look around, and gave a nod in agreement at the suggestion to stick together. It was partly because he was so used to being part of a crew, but also someone could get lost in here if they split up.
(@ordinarymagician, this RP is still open for joiners! Here's a rundown on what is going on/what has happened so far: What happened so far- Most prisoners in the museum started getting introduced to other 'people' on there side of the glass wall. One group who entered the museum found out that the items could be very dangerous when Kid picked up a flute and it started to play on it's own. It played fire, not music. Sable has to tell them how to stop it. Meanwhile, the second group is still around the glass wall and this is when Sable first turns up, face displayed on the glass wall. He shows everyone what Freedom looks like (small black box with intricate designs on its sides). Myrnin and a couple of others start to break said glass wall. Arlo is the one who completely destroys it in the end. Myrnin, the Doctor, and the Master brake off from these groups and go off into the museum. There they are attacked by a statue of a jade tiger. Kid and Aizen, who never left the museum, run into a onyx dragon statue who has the ability to speak and tells them that Sable is dangerous, then flies off. Arlo, Conan, Buck, Eleven, Kagura, Nyx, and July (who currently frozen since Gem has school) go into the museum trying to locate some of there old weapons. Our newest group, mostly made up of characters who didn't get to hear from Sable, (Hanna, Windsinger, Noe) run into a Diamond Snake, which also has the gift of speech, who warns them about Sable and the museum. Hanna, Windsinger, and Noe then run into Zoro, Quote, and Oliver. What's happening now- We currently have two plots running. Lark's mostly in charge of the Chinese Zodiac one (Jade Tiger, Diamond Snake, Onyx Dragon, and Granite Rooster so far) which we haven't done much with yet. Our second plot goes like this: Hanna and AIDAN (an artificial intelligence unit) both chose to defeat their greatest enemy, unaware that they will have to fight each other. Sable gives control of all the electronics to AIDAN in the hopes that it will start the confrontation between the two. AIDAN, who was already unstable, goes mad(der) and will do anything to keep the different groups from turning off his power. His MO is causing things like phones or computers to explode. Hanna is now trying to get help from five people who now make up her group. On the other side of the museum, the group with Conan and Arlo in it splits up. Conan, Eleven, and Kagura go back into the hallways to help Hanna (who they have never met) and Arlo, Nyx, and Buck continue to look for there lost things. Kid and Aizen are/were trying to talk to AIDAN, and AIDAN tells them that he has full control of electronics (minus robots like Quote, who are prisoners in the museum and electronics infused with magic). Oh, and Myrnin, the Master, and the Doctor are somewhere deep in the museum. Pretty much doing there own thing and trying not to die (again). I think that covers everything that happened. We have a few free character who haven't run into anyone recently, so there is always the option of tracking down one of them. If you have any question go ahead and ask. )
Are we alive? (The code word. Read the rules.): We're all dead. So.. nope! *Path Chosen: 3. Group player or single player?: Group! Greatest enemy (**only required if you chose option 2): Other: Nope! *Starting Role-Play post(everyone start out in their rooms):
A thieving magician's eyes glanced over a note clutched in her hand. Dead? What sorta nonsense is this? Is it the mushrooms, ze? It was like some kind of absurd thing you'd read in some young kid's notebook. But alas- and there was more to the note! A quick glance again over the piece of paper revealed the (rather important) choices to the magician. So, I could either look for somethin' that would make me definitely dead? An' fight my "greatest enemy?" I'm much too likable to have a great enemy! Or somethin' that would.. Marisa shook her head. There wasn't any way she could actually be well and truly dead. Ahem, anyways.. ...that would "bring me back to life". Ain't that an easy decision? And the paper was signed! Option three, playing in a group. Magicians had to play nice, y'know. Setting off from her starting position, the magician wondered when she'd run into any strangers. Odd places seemed to be absolutely filled to the brim with equally odd people.
With the subject of the talking snake out of the way, Quote decided it was probably best to speak now. "We don't know much about this museum in the first place, so it may be best to split up, at least into smaller groups, to cover more area... although splitting up may be risky," he suggested. He'd rather do as least walking as possible. His body was still aching from the blast.
(No Aizen stop, you can only have one xD) Kid found himself shivering a little on the inside, but he kept his face devoid of the emotion. He could only just see Aizen's smile and he didn't like it. What was he thinking? He walked over to the end table and carefully touched the casing of the phone. It was still very warm, but at least he could touch it. Who was his new companion? The thief turned the phone off, seeing if that would cool it down. It didn't. So AIDAN could probably still use it even if it was turned off. The phone went into a pocket. It would be useful in the future and Kid wasn't planning on directly hunting AIDAN down just yet, so he was probably safe from it exploding. Aizen can hide his emotions well. Better even than my father or myself. But what emotions are being hidden? Kid started to look around at the surrounding items. We wasn't planning on picking any up just yet, but he was going to try a few out.
He ignored The Doctor's scoffing, which he didn't understand, since the other man was bent down in a moment too, peering at the thing. "You suppose they have to eat?" The Doctor asked, turning his head to one side. The jade tiger hadn't tried to eat them, just... just attack them. Roosters weren't the most friendly, but what could the little bird do, other then maybe try to clobber them over the head with one of its stone wings. The idea amused him, and he grinned as he stood up, not at all unnerved by the little chicken.
"It was kind of big hiding in one of the cabinets inside one of the buildings we just went through. I have a feeling that wasn' t the only one around." He informed the pirate of the recent event. "Anyways we're going to look for gears and stuff, I could fly us all arround the museum."
@bolderpelt Myrnin shrugged a couple of times as if to fit back into his own skin. "Yeah, well, sorry." His face was still blank, but feeling was starting to enter his voice again. He felt a little embarrassed at his own reaction. He spun on his heals sharply. "I will stop kicking random items." His face, once blank, broke into a rather deep frown when his back was to the Master and the Doctor. "I am going this way. Whether it leads to someplace of importance or not will be seen." Once his face was successfully back to a grin, he turned to look back. "Coming?" He wasn't sure what to do and really, one direction was as good as another. The glider had turned him completely around and he now had no idea which way the hallways where. Something moved within the piles and Myrnin caught it out of the corner of his eye. "And something moved!" he said, looking a little unnerved. Something with feathers made of stone stuck its head around a briefcase. It appeared to be a rooster, as far as the vampire knew. "And...uh...not as impressive as that jade tiger was," Myrnin pointed out. (Edit: Who wrote this and what time at night was it. XD The typos are killing me.) "Aw, it's cute," The Master crooned, bending down to wave at the angry looking chicken, "hey little guy." He ignored The Doctor's scoffing, which he didn't understand, since the other man was bent down in a moment too, peering at the thing. "You suppose they have to eat?" The Doctor asked, turning his head to one side. The jade tiger hadn't tried to eat them, just... just attack them. Roosters weren't the most friendly, but what could the little bird do, other then maybe try to clobber them over the head with one of its stone wings. The idea amused him, and he grinned as he stood up, not at all unnerved by the little chicken. The rooster eyed the Master's waving hand and Myrnin thought that was either a look of intelligence or it was considering whether it was edible. "Don't know..." he said slowly. "My question is why does it move. Those busts of people we past ages ago didn't. So what made the tiger and this chicken so special?" The rooster turned its head to the vampire and tilted its head. Then it turned back to the Master, gave him a look of obvious distaste, and strutted away. Oliver clambered deeper into the museum. He was glad to get away from the rest of the groups and whatever chaos they had tried to bring him into. His pace was slow and unhurried. Looking around his gaze caught another pair of eyes. Only they were from his reflection in a window that was leaning against a wall. Oliver frowned, and was just about to approach it when he heard the faint sound of a familiar voice. "Oh no," he muttered as he started to walk that way. "Not him. Anyone but him." But he had to see for himself. (Figured I'd start moving him in the general direction as this group. By the way, that window is the only window in the museum, just for a fun fact that will come up later.)
Mint:
"Shall we move on?" Aizen asked finally, turning slightly to look over his shoulder at Kid. "I don't think we're going to be getting anymore information out of AIDAN for a while, and we might as well search a bit until we have another chance," he went on. This time there was a hint of irritation in his voice, he had expected to learn more from that interaction. However, he was a patient man and knew he would work something out sooner or later. "Who knows, we may find something useful," he added with a casual shrug.
Zoro looked to Windsinger and nodded. "Ah, got it," he said. He thought it odd that they'd found it in a cupboard, but quickly shrugged the thought away as he watched Oliver take his leave from the group. "So we're looking for gears and stuff? I think I can help with that," he murmured, scratching at the back of his head.
Sorry it's short >_<]]
Sorry, I forgot to reply)) Kuragehime @bolderpelt Arlo didn't respond at first, she'd become momentarily lost in thought, looking down at a notebook she'd pulled out of her jacket. She finally looked up again and put the book back. Thinking about her world wouldn't help her go back, to do that she would have to find Sable's Life. "I uh," she paused, feeling slightly awkward. Why had she let herself get distracted? "Yeah, sounds good to me. If we're able to find everything soon enough we might be able to rejoin the others before they find Hanna or AIDAN," she replied with a quick nod.
Mint, Stranger: Kagura looked to Eleven and shrugged, staying quiet and surprising wasn't really her style. Her preferred method was to rush in guns a'blazing - it was a family thing. After Conan finished she nodded and curled the fingers of one hand into a fist. "I can take care of another wall or two, easy," she said. She lightly tapped her foot against the wall beside her and grinned, but waited for a final confirmation from either of the other two. Eleven just quietly watched Conan and Kagura, face a bit somber, but she supposed she'd signed up for this, right? Right, definitely. She turned her head from side to side, cracking her neck and clenching her fists in a fluid, nervous motion. She hoped her powers would be stronger here, or it wouldn't hurt as much to use them. Nosebleeds got tiring.
Hime and Stranger: (Sorry for late reply. I had to go before I could answer.) Conan frowned, unsure what the could honestly do, but willing to try. He shrugged and reached down, spinning the small dial on the side of his right shoe. "Okay, breaking things might at least get the attention of other people around here." And with that, he shrugged again, turned and kicked the door. The hinges crumpled and broken and it was sent slamming backwards into the room. "Yeah, I think I can do things without having all of my weapon," he said with a grin.
Lark Kuragehime mintedstar/fur tinybreezeNoe just stared after Oliver as he left. He couldn't completely disagree with that he had said, but he just thought it could have been said with less...attitude. The vampire shook his head, then looked over at Windsinger. "While that offer sounds good, I think I'd perfer to walk around, sorry," he stated. "And about the technology, where would we even begin? We've been searching around for a while already."
Kuragehime Lark mintedstar/fur broken Quote sighed as he watched Oliver walk off. The vampire didn't seem to be the most... social individual, so he really shouldn't be surprised. At Hanna's words, the robot nodded. It seemed dangerous for Hanna to fight AIDAN alone, but if anyone had a chance to beat them, it was her. "I guess I'll come along," he said quietly, taking a small step forward. At the very least, he could help this girl look around. "Unless there's a sign or a display theme, we'll have no idea where to go..."
