(Yeah, me too. Eh, *makes a so-so gesture with my hand* It's been a couple of years since I read it. I believe the least romantic book in the series is Daylighters, if I'm remembering right. Possibly books through Ghost Town to Daylighters are your best bet from the least romance. I'm fine with the books through Fade Out to Daylighters, which is the point that the romance is really reduced. Yeah, I liked what they did with the movie. I hope there's a sequel someday. Plus, if I'm remember right (it came out in 2015, so memories a little foggy) Myrnin turns up in it. :3 )

We're all sort of stuck in this mess anyway- not that it's anyone's fault!" He glimpsed around from where he stood. "I'll just look around some more Windsinger nodded in agreement with Noé . "I don't mind helping out even if I don't really understand your technology." He replied truthfully. I understand she's under pressure but I'm starting to question if she's the hero in this story...

(you seem very skeptical about this ) (Sorry... XD I'm often hesitant to suggest teen books because I never know how old the other forumer is. If I was talking about the lluminae Files I'd be hesitant because of how much death is in it and the creepy bug things in book 2. )

(Oh well yeah that's understandable xD don't worry, I check the ratings before reading or watching things. Ok and I have no idea what you're talking about bug things, but I think I'd rather not find out o.o)
(also, I'm guessing Myrnin is your favorite character?)

(Correct! I was considering, before I joined with Kid, joining TPH with Myrnin. But decided that it was to hard to RP a vampire. Look how long that thought lasted! XD )

Let's join up these two groups. tinybreeze, broken, Lark, Kuragehime ) Hanna frowned as she started walking down the hall. She could hear two voices and very far off in the distance another explosion of some sort. She rounded the corner only to almost run into Oliver. He caught her arm in a firm grip, stepping back a little. "Ah," he said. "Human." He looked behind her at Noe. "A vampire." He turned his head to look at Windsinger, "Something else. Good. I take it that you know what is causing the interruption of my peace?"

Noe had been slowly following after Hanna, but was completely startled that they ran into them even though he was half expecting it. "Uh, yes?" He hadn't thought it was that noticeable, which only meant this guy also had to be a vampire. He looked at the others for a moment, then back at the new group. "You judge everyone you meet?"

[[ i'm cool with the q&a. ]]
"Yeah, it confuses me too," The Doctor said, shaking his head as The Master trotted ahead, throwing a thin arm around his shoulders and shaking him from side to side, humming something. He had to admit, he'd missed the man, thinking that he was dead, but having his back wasn't exactly a cakewalk. The other Time Lord, after a moment, asked, "Where's Morganville at, exactly? I've never heard of it." "Texas," said Myrnin. He wondered if the geography matched up. "Uh, United States, Texas, that is. Not many people have heard of it, unless your looking to go to the University there. It is very small and that's how the Founder like it." His foot crashed through a weak place and he had to pause for a second as he tried to find a way to get his foot out without leaving the bunny slipper behind. "Morganville was made as a refuge for vampires. A place where we didn't have to hide or be hunted. Admittedly, until recently, the humans who lived in town were the ones who were hunted. But Claire and a few other humans have mostly changed that now." The vampire hopped a few steps ahead, only now remembering Claire. "Funny. I think I'll miss her. A lot." "Texas," The Doctor mused, "I haven't been there in a couple hundred years. Closest I got was Utah. The U.S. is kind of boring. They keep everything interesting, including me at one point, locked up in good old Area 51. Spoiler, it's really just kind of boring. Boring aliens and boring, low level alien tech. Kudos to them though, America, doing something." Anyways, who's Claire? Girlfriend?" The Doctor understood all too well. He had River, well, wife, not girlfriend, but to-'may'-to to-'mah'-to, right? Same difference.

@bolderpelt
"Never heard of Area 51," said Myrnin. "I don't get out of Texas, or Morganville really. Ever. Um, I'm actually kind of stuck there. I can't leave." Myrnin turned back to look at the two. "No, actually. She's my...is apprentice still used in this day and age? Ah well, she is under my teaching." Though, he had to admit, he had once thought... But, that was in the past and he never really had been in a proper relationship. Their was Jesse, but...Well, that just wasn't possible now that he was dead, was it? He turned his finger to point to the Doctor now. "How long is a Time Lord's lifespan? On one life, that is. Do you age?"

So, like, a baby vampire being taught by an older one, kind of? Interesting. It made sense though. Everything had to learn from a sort of... parent. He cleared his throat, going on to explain as The Master remained silent, staring down over the edge of the "mountain" they were headed along, "On one life it's about two-thousand years. We age during that time. It's longer or shorter depending on how old of a body you regenerate into. I'd say, oh, I looked about twenty-five when I first regenerated, and after three-hundred years I look around thirty." He shrugged.

@bolderpelt "Now I get around to the question," said Myrnin, as the answer made to sense to him. "What is a regeneration cycle and how do you mange to get more of them?" His eyebrow raised. "Because every other word in that answer I didn't understand." He pointed down the mountain, "Should we worry about getting down or not. Because this thing is just going higher." The ceiling arched above them. They were sort of heading for the center again, but it was in a round about way. Myrnin's foot brushed something and suddenly a couple of fireworks shot off. He jumped back, running into the Master.

He jumped back, running into the Master. "A regeneration cycle is the amount of lives you get, called regenerations," The Doctor informed, "and getting more of them? Well, they can be medically given, or stolen. It's best to only have one though, after you get so many more you start to get a bit crazy." He gave The Master a pointed look over his shoulder, but stopped as the fireworks went off. The Master, surprisingly strong from his short and thin build, grabbed Myrnin's shoulders to steady him. "Yes, we should probably get down," he agreed.

@bolderpelt "I thought that had something to do with the pounding in his head," said Myrnin as he shuffled a few feet away from the edge, dragging the Master along with him. He studied the drop, not sure how to make it with the two Time Lords in toe. He looked around, searching for some rope or something. The sides were rather steep. "That's about it, in regards to the questions," said Myrnin. He had more, but they were indistinct and more of a background hum of curiosity and confusion. He looked around and grinned. "Now let's see if we can actually make any progress in finding those items." He gave up looking for a rope when he manged to uncover white cape. He frowned as he turned it around and noticed the wires and a cord hanging from it. On the end of the cord was a small joystick with a button on top. Of course, Myrnin pushed it... The cape snapped open, transforming into a hang-glider. "Why is this in here?" he wondered.

"Why is any of this here?" The Master asked, shaking his head and detaching himself from Myrnin as the hang glider appeared. The Doctor had had to duck as the think snapped out, and The Master was practically right on the already uneven ledge as he looked at the thing. It seemed like it could fit three people. "Say, Doc, Myrnin, are either of you up for a bit of hang gliding?" he questioned, voice sly. He saw The Doctor open his mouth, ready to disagree, but then the other man's face lit up a bit and he said, with a tiny nod, "You know what, maybe."

@bolderpelt (Little short, sorry.) "I'm in!" said Myrnin, giving a little bounce. He pushed the hang-glider at the Master. "You are more then welcome to take the middle, but I get to steer it!" This was going to be so much fun, though the vampire. "I'm really starting to wonder if the keys I lost last week are here," he chuckled, looking around.

"Oh, sure," The Master obliged, shoving his way to the center of the glider as The Doctor grabbed onto the bar on the opposite side, peering over the edge. He saw no fear in the man's eyes, just adrenaline and excitement. The Doctor was more of a junkie for it than he'd ever admit. "If your keys are here, then my mind must be too," he joked, before glancing back and forth, "ready, boys?"

@bolderpelt (Bye! Good night. ) "Maybe we'll find it someday then," joked Myrnin with a grin as he took the last place on the glider. "Watch out for passing dragon statues!" He took a few running steps, his feet hitting aside junk. Then he launched the small group off the junk heap. The whoop that trained after them was a little undignified, but what did the vampire care?

Lark, Kuragehime , broken , tinybreeze "Yes," said Oliver, answering Noe. "Though I find that rather easy." It was clear knowledge. "Though my ability to hear the heartbeats of others seem to have disappeared. I wonder it that has something to do with 'being dead' or whatever that aggravating note said." He turned his head away from Noe, like he no longer existed. (Oliver will make a lot of enemies here, I am sure...)

mintedstar/fur, Kuragehime, @bolderpelt, ( Lark ?) Arlo took a few steps back as the phone exploded. "Great... I guess you'll be somewhere in the hall?" She turned her phone off and took the memory chip out. She had a lot of stuff on her phone and she didn't want to lose it if the same thing happened to hers. Hopefully it would be alright as long as she didn't turn it on while AIDAN was in control.

(I hope I tag everyone involved xD) tinybreeze, mintedstar/fur, Lark, KuragehimeNoe just stood there, not really sure what to think about this new guy. "Yes, that would only make..." The other guy was no longer listening. He sighed, shoving his hands into the jacket's pockets as he rocked back and forth slightly. He kept glancing at the others every now and again to see what they thought. (Yes, yes he will, poor guy)

He turned his head to look behind him, then frowned as he looked back at the two. "How large are those angel statue things usually? I'm just wondering, you know, out of curiosity...? It probably isn't important. Nope, not really..." He did turn his head again, but his eyes drifted a little to the left as if he wanted to.

Just an odd, large metal spike. But as Myrnin had mentioned, it had been a curiosity question. Spikes unnerved him more than statues anyway... "Like, would they get to about the size of that dragon statue we saw or reeeeaaaallly small? Also, what is it they do, anyway?" The glider was losing altitude and that meant that Myrnin had to turn left more often because the piles of things were almost everywhere now. Left really was the only direction he was capable of at this point. The Doctor would have to stare them right if they needed to. (Myrnin, stop being cruel. Only mention it if it needs mentioning. I wonder if he could survive a drop from a hang-glider...)

The Doctor called over the rush of air whipping by their ears, as they sailed along, getting closer to more and more piles of junk as they neared the ground. The Doctor steered left sharply as they almost smashed into something, gritting his teeth, but not saying anything. "Careful!" The Master chastised, almost gleefully, as they went on safely once more.
