"The main part of the museum? Ooh! I wanna see that!" Henry chirped with a wide grin, bouncing on his heels a bit. He snuck one last peek at the sword As Sally put it away and then looked down at the book he'd taken. "Oh, this? You know, I'm not really sure. It looked old, and I just saw the purple cover and grabbed it, heehee~" He traced a finger over the front cover and flipped it open to leaf through a few pages. "Oho! And it's in a language I can't read! That must mean it's some kind of dark magic!" "I would rather not," said Sally with a sigh. "The problem with the main part of the Museum is that it can kill you. And I would rather not have to almost die or get very hurt for curiosity just yet." She waved around at the collection of junk - or rather items - around them. "This probably is enough without having to worry about such things." Her tone was a bit dry. She leaned forward, looking at the book and catching a glimpse of some of the writing. "Possibly." She didn't like how excited he sounded at the prospect. "Or maybe it's a cookbook from another world and you just can't read it because of that. Can you even do dark magic?" She hoped the answer was no. Henry pouted at Sally's first response. "Aww, but the added danger makes the curiosity even more worth it! At least, in my experience!" he replied. "What if the thingy we need to get out of here in over there?" he murmured. He paused a beat and then looked back at Sally as if just realizing she'd asked him a question. "Me? Yup! Dark magic is my specialty!" (Sorry Sally) He then let out a snicker. "That would be pretty funny if it was just a cookbook though! But it looks too much like the tome with all my spells in it." He slid his tome out from behind the new book for added emphasis. "See?"

<Raintalon>(Yeeeees. Got a suggestion? ) Newt followed after Mei without much hope that there would be a lot of conversation between them. He was okay with that for now. For now, he was a lot more interested in just getting where he needed to go. They walked for what might have been an hour. But Newt was very sure that his own internal clock was far too confused to know how long he'd been here much less what time it was currently. Any clocks he'd seen so far had all read different times, if they'd worked at all. He didn't get tired the same way he thought he probably should have, and his hair hadn't lengthened anywhere during his time here. But he assumed it was an hour. On ... what? A day? A week? More? Less? He'd lost track a long, long time ago, it felt like. Shaking those thoughts away, he asked, "Have you seen anyone else here?"

mintedstar/fur and Auransky: Aizen, Myrnin, Akira, Kid: Aizen pointed to his chest at Myrnin's appointment. "Me? Well, alright, if you say so," he said, though the reaper seemed perfectly at home with taking the lead. "I will do my best to bring the party somewhere 'good'." He pushed past the others to take his place at the head of the group and picked up the pace a bit more, largely ignoring Kid's concern for Myrnin's mental state. As he fell silent he picked up on the low rushing/rumbling sound in the distance. "Does anyone else hear what sounds like a rushing river?" ~~~ Lupin, Ginger, Minato: Ginger looked to Lupin, then down at his feet. "Oh, is it?" he questioned. He was still standing atop the surface of the water, still as ever yet he could have sworn he heard the sound of faint splashes echo whenever anyone took a step. "This is too weird..." he murmured. "And that's coming from me." Then he glanced to Minato. "To answer your question, it's like..." He paused. "Not sure what to compare it to really. I can breathe and all that, it's just that my energy gets sapped after long periods of time and that plush body stops it. Like an allergic reaction to other dimensions? Kinda?"

( mintedstar/fur uhhhhh maybe they come across a puzzle or trap they have to figure out how to get past? Some kind of obstacle they have to cross to get to the case) “Yes,” said Mei simply, not turning to look at him. “I’ve been with other groups. I’ve gotten separated from all of them. I’m beginning to think this place wants to split us up.” She paused, continuing to walk at a steady pace next to the suitcase man. “Do you think that’s what it wants? To divide us up?”

<Raintalon>(I liiiiiiiiiive. And yes, that sounds awesome. This was all my tired brain could come up with, heh. Puzzle + danger.) "Possible," murmured Newt. "I've run into a couple of groups as well. Some lasted longer than others. One second I'd be there and the next they'd be gone." He didn't say 'which is odd'. He didn't need too. Plus, he didn't have time. At some point the floor had shifted from the even concrete to large tiles. Newt hadn't payed any attention to them until the one he'd just stepped on tilted dangerously. For a second, he assumed something had to be coming up from below, but instead what he felt was a rush of heat right before the tile disappeared through the floor. Melting. In it's place, there was a glowing square of what looked like magma. Newt, balanced on one foot, hissed and leaned back even more. "Erg," he said with a swallow.

Rudy followed as per usual, or was he leading at this point? He hadn’t noticed. It seemed like every inch they have taken swapped the two physically in terms of leading and following. They both were clearly skeptical on even their decided plan of action. The two agreed the left path, continuing towards the marked X. He looked out to the trail ahead, nothing seemed out of the ordinary in terms of the wildlife scenery. But the art style, the colors, and the movements of everything just seemed so out of place.
He now looked at the ground, every step they took produced a puddle of color. “It gives off a chalkzone vibe, but this isn’t anything like chalkzone. It’’s kinda like cookies. We have a lot of brands to pick from, but we know its a cookie. That’s the same vibe I get from this world.” He observed. “It feels like a chalkzone art created world but it is not a chalkzone.”
He looked up ahead, there was another sign up ahead. It was an arrow with a range of distance to proceed to a landmark. However, the landmark was entirely blanked out. He turned his head back towards Conan, “Can that be the X on the map?’ He asked. “Considering it’s also marked out on the sign?”

Ever since Myrnin joined the group, Akira felt like they were babysitting a child. He was glad he didn’t have to babysit a child for a confidant, yet... Then again it was kinda amusing - actually Myrnin reminded him of Futaba. Which also meant that Myrnin was probably deadly: probably. When Aizen spoke up he turned his head. He hadn’t been paying attention to the sounds around them-aside from Myrnin. He looked over at Kid, then Aizen and Myrnin before listening out. There was a sound in the distance, it was almost like a river, exactly like Aizen described. “Given what we’ve found here so far, I wouldn’t be surprised to find a river here either.” He couldn’t help but assess the situation. “But if it’s a river, we can use it to travel from place to place. In fact, it might make travel faster, or easier to go too and from.” He considered, “Maybe checking it out won’t hurt but..” He slowed his words down. “But it’s so distant, I’m not sure which direction would lead towards it.”

Minato’s expression was enshrouded with interest and curiosity to Ginger’s explanation. The explanation was almost like a balloon, it was both fascinating and almost scary? Then again-it also reminded him of SEES, during their combat. “If I knew of a solution or anyone with.a solution for such an allergic reaction, I’d offer to help.” He couldn’t help but sympathize. “To have a form, and not be able to use it-it sounds frustrating.” He could only imagine. “But I can somewhat relate to that.” He also further added. “When my team, fights the shadows, we use our evokes to summon personifications of our soul. But, it comes at a cost. Tartarus was a massive castle, that never seemed to end. We were limited on our travels based on how much combat we faced per floor. Every battle, we would loose our stamina get tired and in a way it also leaves us. If we over exert ourselves, we can die, and these casualties do carry over.” He leaned his head down, “Even permanent...” He took in a deep breath, “But we were also affected by other things, like what we did on our daily activities, work, school, stress.” He shook his head. “Granted, this is nothing like your scenario. But it’s the closest I can relate to.”

This was a fantasy world to him and he had no idea what sort of world that ran on. It took a second for him to breath and then head toward the sign. He glanced up, but wasn't tall enough to actually reach that far enough up the support for it. "Which way now?" he said, both to himself and to Rudy. Rudy did say that this wasn't the place he was familiar with. But that made the rules unknown. "If this sign is the X, then I that means ..." He looked up, then in the direction that the sign was pointing. "Either it's more paths or this is our destination." But that was the thing when he didn't know the rules of the world. He didn't know.

Auransky Kuragehime Lupin blinked several times, taking one of the rings on his fingers off and then started playing with it. He spun it around in his fingers, like a loose piece of coin. "Are we going to figure out what to do now?" He hesitantly looked around. Hadn't he heard something? It felt like he had. Like distant thunder. But he tried to ignore it, instead paying attention to the two talking. He had to be honest ... while it seemed nice they were making friends, he didn't particularly want to and it felt like they should be going. "Are we going this way ...?" he said, trying not to show the others the fidgeting of his fingers by turning away. He moved forward, than looked back, his feet touching down with harder steps as if he was trying to show his impatience in some way.

Auransky KuragehimeThe vampire pulled up to a complete halt and Kid nearly fan into him. Hurriedly, the thief backpedaled, noticing as Myrnin looked around at the surrounding walls with suspicion on his face. "I don't know of any rivers here. I've seen Sable collect creatures and items and maybe - maybe only a few - places. Like pieces of worlds ripped from their very foundations. So maybe there's a river, but I wouldn't place my confidence in it going far. But that doesn't sound exactly like a river." He continued turning until he was facing Akira, head tilting at an angle. "If I'm much mistaken, it's coming from there." He pointed down the hallway directly to Akira's left. Then, arm still out and finger still pointing, he turned back to face Aizen. The finger pointed at Aizen's face. "You're leading. We heading toward it or away?"

I’ve experienced that as well,” said Mei, nodding along with the man with the strange name. “I - ah!” She stepped back quickly as Newt’s tile tilted to the side, wobbling dangerously before melting completely into the floor, revealing a rush of heat that spoke to danger before she could even consciously tell what it was. She leaned forward, examining the substance with her good eye, and then leaned back again, pushing her feet closer together so she was firmly on her own square. “It looks like lava,” she commented, perhaps unnecessarily. Then, she looked around, taking note of the general change in floor texture. “A puzzle?” she suggested, kneeling down and reaching out with one hand to wave it over the tile adjacent to hers. “I wonder if it only triggers when we step on it...”

<Raintalon>"Probably," said Newt, still trying to keep his balance but also very concerned about moving. He wasn't used to asking help from strangers, but at this point he really thought he had to. "A little help please?" He looked down at where the floor had stopped being floor. It wasn't widening at all, but he really did not trust that a single movement on his part wouldn't send him tumbling into a heat and burning worse than fire. "I think the tiles are loose," he added, hissing through his teeth. Why would that madman of a collector put a bunch of hot floor tiles into the floor! The best Newt could think of was some sort of trap. Which either meant they weren't supposed to leave their old location ... or they weren't supposed to enter the new one. Which just made it all seem so odd. What purpose could there ever be to hide something beyond lava? Newt just wanted his case. So unless there was a creature of some sort back there, he really wasn't interested. "And this wasn't like this when you first came through here?" he checked, hoping Mei had some ideas. This seemed to be the last straw for his balance, however, and he tipped forward. (You gonna save the fool?)

"See?" "If It is over there," said Sally with a sigh. "Then I'd like to have all my arms and legs when I pick it up. How about that?" She wasn't sure if she could regenerate in this place and she didn't want to find out. "But if you really want to try," she said with a roll of her eyes. "I guess I can't stop you. How do you suggest you are going to find out how to read that?" Henry tilted his head to one side and was silent for a breath or two, confused about Sally's attitude. "All of the mages in Plegia know dark magic... it's almost like it's required or something," he said with a soft laugh. "I learned other kinds in school, sure, but dark is my favorite~" He shifted the books in his hands and gave the new one a hard stare. He flipped open to a random page and then gave the words(?) the same stare. He silently mouthed a few syllables and then shook his head. "Eh, I'll figure out something along the way... don't wanna read too much into it when I don't know anything yet!" Hmm, imagine if this was indeed a spell book, and with each word/phrase Henry attempted to read out some random effect would occur.....]]
