Lets make this a cluster of cats coming together, break off with others, do your own thing, keep it general, use as many cats as you like, ect ect. Ill set the scene with a couple of mine and we will go from there. if things get more in depth and this continues into a regular thing I might make a proper page with alliances and things of that nature. We will see.
Huddled between two dark roots a tom curled around himself. His pelt was simple, a plain unsaturated brown with the occasional fleck of darker fur. In this weather a thicker coat had begun to appear, fuzz around his collar and legs pushed outwards towards the world around him, and he lay still. Beneath him slumbering something precious, something that needed to stay warm as night was quickly approaching and with it would come the first frost to a late leafbare. His eyes flicked open, casting the last bit of green that could be sighted for several hundred tail-lengths. A gentle glow in the receding light of dusk searched around for something disturbing silence. Who else was there?

The forest was cold, with only a few stragglers tied to their trees nearly ever leaf had fallen to the hard rooted ground below. These woods were ancient and deep, filled with life even as the warm season gave way to cold. Cats of every walk made their lives for generations. Intermingled were twoleg dens made of broad logs and smoking stones up top. The odd kittypet could be found dashing out of sight just as a clan patrol stalked by its borders, loners and rouges alike would carve out a home for themselves and sometimes small family groups. Despite the present tranquility life in this world could still run volatile, blood could still turn cold, and would always carry on.
