Hey, 𝘨𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘶𝘯! Here's the the thread for our RPing. I have to go to school real soon, but I'll get this step up here. Sorted out details- -No plan for romance, but it's not ruled out.
-FxF
-Modern Day
-Characters are on a mission to get some dragons out of the wrong hands before they're caught off-guard, allowing their attackers to take them hostage.
-Ree has fridge-raider. I'm gonna make more character when I get home, so I may be able to RP at about 3:45 EST or earlier if nothing comes up after-school.

hey! I'm probably going to work on my character during the breaks I take in writing my essay, so hopefully she should be up relatively soon.

Sounds good!
Oh, one thing we didn't we didn't talk about. What sorta ages are we going for? They don't have to be the same, but I think it would be nice if they're at least 5 years within each other. I was thinking late teens/early twenties, but I don't really know.

late teens/early twenties sound good to me! the character I'll be using here is usually 19, so she fits quite nicely in that bracket.

Whoops, I forgot to respond at the time I gave you earlier. Anyways, here's my character!
Evelyn Porter ll 18 years old ll One of the most noticeable things is Evelyn's skinny frame, which is accompanied by long limbs. She has startling green eyes, resting above her freckled face. One for striking thing about her, is her natural deep orange hair, which is normally flowing over her shoulders with slight waves. ll It's never safe to say anything about Ev's personality. While it shifts to the situation accordingly often, there's one common theme. She's one that always loves to be the one right, and has a more airy way of things. But she's also not one to go easy on any mistakes she makes, and when she has a goal, she's not going to stop until she's achieved it. ll Evelyn was introduced to magic quite incidentally, if you want to put it simple. It all started when she stumbled upon a secret magic base of sorts (How she was able to find it, is still not completely a fact.) and she dug her nose into all of the information she could find. One thing led to another, and she's here today, dealing with magic. ll Evelyn is often called "Ev", for lack of a better nickname. She also has a great appreciation for magic beings, above her other magical studies. Ev's known to almost always having a small companion of magical decadence tagging along her side.

Sara Vincent // female // 19 ᵒ ᵒ ᵒ Sara is a bubbly and outgoing person who has an easy time slotting into any group of people. She's never been very good at reading people and their emotions, but her energy alone is enough to make up for that. A big fan of gossiping (about herself more than anyone else) she always has something to say and always states her mind, regardless of what other people think. Quick to make a joke or quip something witty, she'd generally a fun, though not very serious, person to be around.
ᵒ ᵒ ᵒ Sara doesn't care about what other people think of her, but that also means she's inconsiderate of them. She doesn't stop to think about what effect she'll have on other people before she acts, so she'd often blunt or rude. She spares no-one's feelings, especially not in a debate. On top of that, she's quite a reckless person, and is of the belief that improvisation is far better than planning - not to mention more entertaining. She lives in the now, acting upon her every impulse without second thought.
ᵒ ᵒ ᵒ Sara isn't very competitive, and actually quite a good loser, but she is more jealous than she should be. By far her biggest vice, jealousy has driven her into deep moods before, but perhaps worse, to try to beat the other person involved.
Sara is of average height, at just over 5'5", and a surprisingly strong build. She has dark, thick hair cropped into a bob at her jawline and eyes so dark they might as well be black. Long eyelashes make them appear wider than they actually are, only adding to the usually bright expression she wears. Her features are round, as is her face.
Born to a Chinese mother and English father, Sara speaks both English and conversational Mandarin, though she's not confident enough to call herself fluent.
Raised into the world of magic by her father, Sara has always known about the magic and creatures that lurk just beneath the surface humanity has created to shield itself. She understands magic better than most humans can claim, and though she cannot wield it herself (not being a warlock) has always been fascinated by it. She cannot use it unaided, but she has a growing collection of magical items, especially weapons. She's currently training with warlocks to learn to make magical weaponry as well as use them, but when her father brought the dragons to her attention, she knew there was nothing she could do but take a break from her studies.
ah, here she is! I love her so much honestly, I haven't used her in ages but she's so wonderful.

Okay, I'm ready to RP!
So, do we want to start out at them getting captured, or them at the fridge?

for simplicity's sake, maybe at the fridge? it doesn't really matter how the actual capturing goes down, so it feels like writing it would be a little redundant. I'm good with either though.

Sara was hungry. She hadn't eaten since that morning, before she and Ev got caught trying to figure out where the dragons had gone to when they left this place. It had been sixteen hours and twenty-three minutes. Not that she was keeping track. Over sixteen hours since her stomach had seen any food, and even longer since she'd had a proper meal. This was no longer the slight growl your stomach made after you woke up from a long nap. It was the full-body-scream your body did when it was fed up with waiting.
So, she was raiding the kitchen. There was no way she wasn't going to eat. She'd stuck her head into the fridge and on the counter beside her stood several bags of chips she was sure she'd do something with eventually. Her hands were occupied, so she'd bitten down on the sandwich she'd made herself and was precariously balancing a mug (she hadn't been able to find a single glass) filled with juice on her arm. Problem: solved.

sorry for taking so long, I had to eat dinner.
Ev swept her gaze over her small room, tossing a small rock from hand to hand. Not only did it keep her from going insane in the space they were given (which was surprisingly big, for being held hostage.), the satisfying sound of it slapping her palm made her grin with delight. But this distraction only lasted a few minutes, her anger already had built up again. It was her stupid mistake that had led to their capture, and she wouldn't be convinced otherwise.
She sighed, groaning as she rose from the squeaky wooden stool that she had been resting on. With the loud creeks it was letting out, Evelyn was honestly surprised that it was still upright as she stumbled away. It was only a few steps before she caught sight of her friend, with food spread out everywhere.
"Seriously?" She exclaimed. "We're being held hostage and you decide to raid the kitchen?" If you could even call it that, it was only a small fridge with a couple bins holding other food and dishes.

( totally fine, don't worry. )
Sara looked up, a bright grin spreading across her face. The mug teetered dangerously on her arm and she snatched it up quickly, draining it in a single sweep. She set it down on the counter beside her and closed the fridge door with a nudge of the shoulder, then, finally, took the sandwich from her mouth.
"I was hungry, okay?" she said defensively. "Besides, I figure the best way out of here is to eat until they're all out of money. Then they'll have to sell whatever magical objects they have keeping us in here, and we'll be on our way." Her eyes glimmered with humour, strange considering their position but not so strange considering her disposition.
"Seriously, though, Ev, what did you expect me to do? Figure out a way out of here on an empty stomach? If they're going to hold us hostage, they might as well feed us. And I haven't eaten in," she glanced down at her watch, "Sixteen hours and twenty-six minutes now. Do you expect me to starve willingly?"

"You've seriously been counting?" She rolled her eyes, ignoring Sara's defense against her rather excessive sudden eating. She gave a small huff as she plopped herself down on another small, wooden chair. She worried for possible splinters, but she had some other, more attention seeking problems at the moment.
She wasn't exactly in the mood for Sara's humor being thrown at her, but with some more thought she gave into the idea of stuffing her mouth with a proper meal. It's amazing how good some greasy chips can smell when you haven't eaten in 16 hours... 27 minutes.
"Could you throw me a piece of food? I don't care what." She muttered, casting her gaze away as she spoke.

"Of course I've been counting, who do you take me for?" Sara replied indignantly, taking a first bite of her sandwich. "I always count. How am I supposed to complain properly if I don't have all the data?" She quirked a smile again, sitting down on a chair of her own. She supposed she should sober up, but then again, she'd never been very good at that.
At Evelyn's request, she grabbed a nearby bag of crisp and tossed it to her. "So," she started. "How do we plan on getting out of here? I mean, the free food is great, but I'd much rather get back to getting those dragons so I can go home and forge some swords."
( short post oop. it's like half one in the morning, so I'll cut myself some slack. also, if I disappear, I've gone to sleep. )

Evelyn bent over to catch the crisps from the air. She accidentally crushed a few with her grip, but she swiftly ripped the bag open as she considered Sara's words. "Well..." Evelyn started, turning her gaze to the rest of the room before suddenly leaning forward. "I don't really know, but are those chocolate muffins on the counter?!" She exclaimed, a large grin stretching across her face.
"I may be able to think better while stuffing my face with chocolate." She added, springing up and grabbing two of the pieces chocolaty goodness. She tossed one into the air once before lowering herself back into her chair. "You want one?" She inquired, waving it before Sara's face.

Sara finished off her sandwich with a grin. "Of course I want one, I'm not totally without morals." She didn't make to grab it, though, snatching up two of her own instead. "Keep that one, though. I think you'll need all the chocolate you can get if it'll really help you think."
She bit into one of the muffins, sighing as she relaxed. "Alright," she said around a mouthful of food. "So we have to get out of here. These people have obviously either got a warlock working with them to raise magical guards or they're depending on magical items; my money's on the latter. How do we get past it?"

Evelyn bit into her own muffin, a handful of crumbs falling into her lap. She ignored the growing amount of crumbs as she shifted in her seat and attempted to think carefully with her new fuel. After eating a few bites she opened her mouth to answer. "Yeah, you're probably right..." She didn't like admitting it, but this is was one of those special cases when she had to.
"Do you think the item might be hidden in here? Sort of like a puzzle." Her voice rose slightly as she spoke, excitement growing. If that was the case, getting out of here could be the slightest bit... fun!

Sara considered this for a moment, then shook her head. "Maybe, but I doubt they'll have made it a puzzle purposefully. They wouldn't be stupid enough to give us an easy out." She polished off her first muffin, frowning thoughtfully. "They'll need to keep it somewhere, though. It could be in here, but if I had to guess they'll have it either outside or on their person."
She hummed, starting on her second muffin. "What do you think? Is it worth searching the building or are we better off seeking our captors out?" She wasn't sure herself. She didn't even know why they'd put them in here (obviously because they were searching for the dragons, but why were these men so against that?) let alone why they'd want to keep them here.
