(Just got out of classes sorry)
Sasha seemed just as bored, and not because of what he was talking about. As a Dragon he has seen a castle, and they only really differe in size and style on the outside. It doesn't matter to him, a castle is a castle high tech or low. It was just a fact. He knew by his dragon size alone it would be able to hold up against something like him. But it did its job.

(1. Yes, the rankings are that of the book series this forum is about. There's kit, apprentice (Like a young cat, not quite an adult) Warrior (Young adult/adult). Deputy (Now we are getting into leadership roles) Clan leader (Da Boss ranking). Elder (you be on here so long ya old) And finally Starclan Member (Ya dead) and these change based on how much you post. And For Artemis she is like me, up all night dead asleep all day)

"You must think you're too good to stay here." The older woman scoffed at the adolescent standing before her. After having listened to Ferra's talk of leaving her tribe in search of her parents many times before, the old councillor had grown sick of it. How dare she disrespect her in that manner? The old woman had cared for the girl since she was a child, and this is how she would be repaid? First, her own child gallavants off and returns home temporarily, simply to dump a young child and leave, and then the child that she raised has the nerve to leave as well?! Maybe it was partially her own fault. though. Having recently revealed to her grandchild the nature of her heritage had awakened a new curiosity in the girl.
Ferra quickly threw up her hands in defense. She had made every attempt to be respectful in her requests to leave her village. Each time the subject had been brought up, the old woman had berated the child, and guilted her into staying. "Please, no. I-it isn't like that, don't misunderstand. I'm so very grateful to you for all you've done for me. There are just so many things I don't understand about my lineage, and I--"
"Stupid, stupid child. Your father's kind will never accept you-- you're a half blood!" The old woman interrupted furiously; her patience had grown quite thin after Ferra's many, many requests. and she had discovered that the responsibility card wasn't nearly as effective as it had been in the beginning. "I forbid you to leave this village, effective immediately."
Ferra hesitated, her eyes glossy. "I'm sorry, Grandmother. I can't let you do that. This is a decision I must make on my own. I've been obedient my whole life, but I can't lie down and take this anymore. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but you can't make my decisions forever." Her tone and expression peaceful, the girl met her grandmother's gaze defiantly. "I can't continue to struggle like this. Living in a tribe isn't for me, and I have to know... There are so many things I need to know..." The girl trailed off quietly, and her eyes grew misty.
Ferra's grandmother turned her back to the child, her wooden staff in hand. The old woman's expression was twisted, with a mixture of sadness, and anger. The latter was much more prominent, however, and showed through in her voice. "I refuse to allow such disrespect from you. You must stay, or be exiled forever. Those are your only options. No compromise, Ferra. I have given you responsibilities, and you are next in line for my position. If you leave, you prove to your tribe that you value yourself above them, and selfishness is not permitted. You, more than anyone else, should know that."
A lone tear trickled down the girl's face, and a sad smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "I must find my own path. Goodbye, Grandmother." The girl exited her grandmother's abode, and returned to her own home to gather her belongings. By sundown, Ferra had left her home, likely never to return again.
Ferra's eyes flickered open sleepily. She touched her fingertips to her left cheek, and immediately sat up as she realized it was wet with a salty liquid. The girl wiped her eyes and face with her sleeve, and began to assess her surroundings. Her fire had perished at some point during her rest, and though it wasn't as frigid as it had been the night before, the girl still shivered as she got to her feet. Her travels had been brutal, and at this point she wanted nothing more than to give up searching for the thing she had fought for so desperately.
The poor girl was starving, and lonely. Her nights were often haunted by her past, and she rarely slept as a result. Even so, Ferra was determined to continue onward, though she wasn't sure at this point where she could go. How would she ever find her family?
The effort was futile.
Ferra gathered her belongings, and began to resume her trek. She silently cursed herself for not having made an attempt to maintain a convenient sleep schedule, as the sun would be vanishing within a few hours. Often times, the girl would travel for days without stopping to sleep, and on the nights that she finally did, she would sleep for extensive periods of time. Today, she had rested longer than she had meant to.
The forest around her seemed almost sentient, as if it were pushing and guiding her via some unknown force. She wondered if it were a type of magic, as she admired the lush, beautiful greenery surrounding her. At times, the foliage grew thicker and more inconvenient to travel through, but the girl continued to press on; turning around, or travelling in another direction, may cause her to stumble around aimlessly in circles, she knew.

(Alfonse, being from Earth, and being a skeptic on nearly everything... well, he's in for a shock. Lol) Alfonse clutched the book carefully in his hands as he descended the stairs, and made his way back to the kitchen. "Miss Aurora? I hate to intrude." He poked his head into the kitchen, and the rest of him followed. "I simply have a question about the book I've been reading." Alfonse glanced at the other individual who stood in the kitchen, but, as his mind was focused on one thing in particular, he paid Mako little attention. Alfonse set the book down on the wooden table, and proceeded to straighten his sports coat and tie. Although the suit was mostly uncomfortable, it had its advantages. Alfonse had long since discovered that many people were more willing to listen if he was dressed up, and besides, he had a reputation to uphold. (I wish Winter were on more. I feel bad for skipping her character, but I think it would kill me if I could only post once or twice a day. DX Please forgive my impatience.) Aurora shifted her attention to Alfonse, still managing to keep careful watch over the fish so that it didn't overcook. It was nearly done. "Alright. What is your question?" She assumed it was something about her world or the castle itself. (I'm gonna reply to each person one at a time, so I can be quicker.)

(Just got out of classes sorry) Sasha seemed just as bored, and not because of what he was talking about. He knew by his dragon size alone it would be able to hold up against something like him. But it did its job. (That's fine. ^^) Peter also managed to slip in the fact that the castle was indestructible, so Sasha wouldn't have to worry all the time about damaging it. He trailed off suddenly as his mind could no longer focus on the subject (ADD, much?). "I wonder where Aurora is. Maybe she's cooking something. I hope so. I wonder what she's cooking?" He suddenly seemed excited and rushed off towards the castle. Coincidentally, Catori was just on her way out, but paid little attention to the boy. The sudden excess of people were making her nervous, and since she figured there wouldn't be enough fish left over for her, she decided it would be an excellent time to get out and go hunting. Even though she wasn't always successful, the run would prove good for her. Suddenly, she stopped mid-pace as she sighted Sasha in the clearing. Though he appeared different from the first time she saw him, something about the man put the wolf on edge. Her ears lay back against her skull and she glanced back and forth between Sasha, the castle, and the woods. Debating.

[Thanks for the explaination Death Lover. I've never read Warriors but Artemis said it didn't matter.]
Jay walked through the woods unaware that he'd passed into a different world. He thought he was just lost. He was afraid it would get dark before he found his way back home. Then, he stepped out into a large clearing, squinting up at the castle, "Huh. When did this get here? I don't remember hearing anything about something like this out here. WHoever lives in it must be pretty stinkin' rich."

Alfonse cleared his throat. "What can you tell me about this book? Would you say that it is historically accurate?" His fingertips trailed over the weathered brown cover, and he began to study its features in a suspicious manner, almost as if expecting the book to tell him itself whether it was accurate or faulty.

(I'm about to blow a Wolves mind!) Sasha looked at the wolf as she looked unsure about him. He smiled softly as he pulled off the shirt he was wearing. He then began to change again growing sandy fur as his head and body began to take the shape of a wolfAt some point he was able to shake off the pants he wore before dropping down on his newly formed paws. He shook out his fur and snorted softly. He then looked back at her and nodded towards the woods at her. As if offering to go with her to hunt down something for dinner for her. A peace offering almost since he did eat her deer that she had been stalking.

(Hi kitty cakes! *is virtually slapped again* I MEAN, CAM! Sorry. But your screen name is just cute and makes me laugh. I love the picture.)
Aurora glanced at the book. She was very familiar with it, and probably had read it through at least two or three times, "Yes, everything from cover to cover. It's all true." She didn't understand why he wouldn't think it was. There was nothing in the book she found strange or unbelievable.
(heheheh
AWWWW that's so sweet!)
Catori's eyes practically bulged at the sight. Though not out of fear or disbelief. She just seemed shocked for such a creature to find it's way to her home. She wondered if the others were aware yet. (She just thinks he's a werewolf. XD) The wolf seemed more comfortable now and, after passing over a gesture that read something like an invitation, she turned and briskly took off into the woods.

Jay fortunately was on the other side of the castle when the guy turned into a wolf. He only seen the two of them afterwards and just thought they were ordinary dogs.

He followed after her, letting her take the lead in the hunt. He understood enough of wolves to know that he dare not try to tell her to what to do. She was in charge when he was in this form. It would make her feel better and trust him more.

Alfonse gave a puzzled frown. "Impossible..." He held the book closely, still examining every detail. Without warning, the scientist opened the book and began carefully, yet quickly, searching for a specific bit of information. When he had discovered the page he was searching for, he set the book down again, and tapped the paragraph with his index finger. "The laws of physics forbid this. Simply put, it just isn't possible for a human to change his or her shape into that of another creature." Alfonse returned his wide-eyed gaze to Aurora. "I have witnessed some peculiar phenomenon, but this... Do you mean to say that it is possible to defy the very laws of physics?

Catori was very happy to have another wolf - or technically werewolf, as she believed him to be - help her out with her hunt. It would make things go so much more smoothly. They might even be able to take down something larger. Just as Catori began looking for a convenient place to go over the creek, she caught scent of some quarry and eagerly began to trail it down the embankment.

Aurora turned to remove the fish from the heat, but nearly jumped out of her shoes when he mentioned shape-changing. Her mouth moved but no words came out. She realized she was still holding the skillet, and rushed over to put it on the counter before she dropped it. With her back turned, she answered, "I- Well, um... I would say it is definitely possible. Are you saying there were no shapechangers in your world?" She was turned now, and wearing an awkward smile to try to hide her sudden dread.

[Ooooh this is getting good. I love drama.]
Jay watched the dogs run off into the woods, then turned to the front door of the castle. Night was starting to fall, and he didn't want to be outside alone. Maybe the person who lived here would be kind enough to let him stay the night and then give him a ride back home in the morning. He couldn't remember seeing any roads, but surely there was one somewhere nearby. The doors were open but he hesitated. "Should I knock first?"

[Mako can RP with Jay if you want to. He needs somebody normal to interact with at first so he doesn't run away.]
Jay could hear voices inside the large building and took a hesitant step inside, "Hello? Is anyone here?" He thought for a moment, "I'm not a burglar!" He added quickly.

Alfonse nodded. "That's precisely what I'm saying." He read over the paragraph once more, and then shut the book. "There are other species of animals, wolves included, but not... werewolves." The poor, confused scientist was beginning to wonder if this was all some elaborate prank. "Granted, my own abilities defy the laws of physics. I possess the ability of regeneration, and hypothetically, if you were to slice me in half, I'd simply grow back from the waist down, for lack of a better term." Alfonse gave an awkward laugh, before his expression grew serious again. "But werewolves... those are a completely different matter altogether."

Aurora looked down, somehow completely missing the part about the man's regenerative capabilities. She'd grown quite pale and she folded her shaking hands behind her back, "Well, this world has them, and they are very dangerous, so don't ever go into the woods at night by yourself." She changed the subject, "The food is ready."
