Catori was startled by the sudden contact. She stared at Kiba again in a quizzicle manner. Usually, Aurora was the only one that lay a paw - hand? - on top of her head. Was this some kind of normal physical interaction? The wolf wasn't entirely sure. She'd have to test it later on another person, or animal, and see how they reacted to it. She just hoped they wouldn't bite her for it. (I dunno. Maybe he'd see an aura of her holding a scyth? Anyone is free to have their character seen basically any way you want, but I'm guessing the lens will normally show something pertaining to the character's true form or nature. If they are any kind of shapeshifter, it will show their other form(s). I'm still figuring it out though.) (It's s'okay ^.^) Peter frowned slightly. Had he been about to cry? He decided to spare him any embarrassment and pretend he hadn't noticed. At his comment, Peter shrugged, "Eh, maybe. Aurora usually does most of the cleaning." And by 'most', he meant 'all'. Kiba pulled his paw back and asked," So miss Catori how long have you been in this giant cabin for and how good is it here?" Shadow then started to circle her again as he asked his questions. |

"Heh, funny that you should mention dragons.  "Peter smirked at his mention of a few of the creatures. What would Mason say to living among them, and having a werewolf for a leader? To the question, Peter held up the magnifying glass, "This." He held the lens in such a way as to allow Mason to see the faint red aura around Peter, "It looks like an ordinary magnifying lens, but it actually shows the true form or nature of people and creatures. Just one of many of my cool toys." He bragged. (Morning! I fell asleep.XD Also sorry but I need to go for about three days!) Mason tilted his head at the red glow he could see around Peter. Great, so the one thing he thought he could recognise was something else entirely. "That's pretty cool. So are you an inventor? Or do you just have cool stuff?" He asked the boy with a tilt of his head. He was what, twelve? |

Catori blinked, having not expected so many questions. To the first, she replied that she'd been there her whole life. To the second question, the wolf tilted her head ever so slightly, "Good?" She thought about that for a moment. There was always plenty of food for her to eat, and nothing ever bothered her, and she loved being there with Aurora. Did that mean her life was good? She supposed it did. Catori finally answered, "Good, very." (She doesn't have a very big vocabularly XD)

Kiba smiled and said," You don't talk much do you?" Kiba then walked in front of the female wolf and sat down on his haunches and said," So you said you have a family here what is he like." Kiba only used he because he had no idea whether or not Catori's family was male or female.

Catori looked at the ground momentarily, searching for the right words, "Auro-ra is... good. Nice." The wolf smiled fondly at the mention of her close friend. Or was it family? She still wasn't sure of the distinction.

Catori appeared sad and sympathetic to that. She wasn't sure what to say, so she just lay down beside Kiba. She figured she could at least keep him company.

Kiba's tail started to wag and said," Thank you Catori your act of kindness is not lost on me." Kiba then looked at Catori and asked," Catori if it is not to much trouble I wish to know where your family Aurora put your scars." Kiba then rolled over and showed his underbelly which was covered in scars from when his creator decided to "examine" him and his inner workings.

Catori winced and bore her teeth; not out of any aggression, but more as if she were saying 'yikes'. She looked away with both ears drawn backwards, "No scars..." She replied in answer to his question.

Catori looked deeply troubled by Kiba's words. Just what sort of life had he lived, where someone wanted to cut him that way? If she were human, she would have shuddered at his words. Instead, she whimpered involuntarily. "She did not... would not... never..."

Catori's expression was sad, "Safe here." She said, hoping to give him some reassurance. She knew he wouldn't have to worry about any of those terrible things happening at her home. With a gruff sigh, Catori lay her chin on her paws and stared at nothing.

Catori mumbled an agreement, eyes already closed. This was her absolute favorite spot to take a nap, aside from Aurora's bed. But since all of the people had been showing up, Aurora had started keeping her room locked up. And so, the wolf had started spending more and more of her time outside among the shade of the garden.
(Imagine Aurora and Ferra finding the two of them curled up asleep like that XD Aurora would just be happy to see Catori find a four-legged friend.)

Kiba looked at Catori and then closed his eyes and drifted off into slumber. As Kiba slept a dream of his creator and all the sorrow he went through and all the times be found himself longing for the sweet embrace of death. As the dark dreams were going on it suddenly started to grow brighter and images of his new found friends and home started to take the place of the vial memories of his past.

Sasha was quiet watching the two talked, and when they were ready to go, he walked off into the forest his wings still hurting. But now it was all his fault for not sitting down and resting like he knew he should be resting. No, he had to play daddy, and for once it wasn't funny.

Catori's eyes began fluttering open and shut. Within moments, the wolf had fallen asleep as well. Every so often, one of her ears or paws would twitch. It appeared she was dreaming as well. More likely than not, her dream consisted of chasing and hunting prey.
(I've gotta go, but I'll be back in 30 minutes to an hour. :3)
