"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you."  Runa nodded slowly, "I see. Sound like some a kid would definitely enjoy. No wonder Morgan wants to do it." She said with a chuckle.
Raja took several steps back and looked at his sister with some sympathy.
Morgan slowly became visible, in her normal form, and glared at Runa. "What did you just imply? Do I really look like a kid to you!" She snapped.
Bell looked at the little bunny on her shoulder, "Hungry?" She asked figuring that a small form would need sustaince more often. |

The warmth was a little surprising, though Peter supposed a lot of animals gave off extra heat. It was certainly the case with Adonis. “No, you’re fine. You’re actually not as heavy as I thought you’d be.” Peter very carefully ascended the rest of the stairs and headed for the infirmary. Once there, he gingerly sat Ibis on a bed. “Lay down and rest if you want. I’ll look around and see what I can find to help you with.” Aurora shook her head at Kiba’s words. Honestly, there were much better ways of testing the barrier than with someone’s skull. She hoped that Berserker would be alright… As she went outside, Catori finally got up and hurried after her and the others. Loki could feel the hurt rolling off of Morgan’s words, but he hadn’t a clue how to handle it. For an immortal, there was little point in celebrating one’s birth literally every year. Not only was it pointless, but he saw it as a tremendous waste of time, and a little silly. “It’s a human tradition. On Midgard, the day of one’s birth is celebrated every year with much noise and sweets and reveling.” An eyeroll accompanied his explanation to Runa. “What… What kind of spell? It’s not going to give me a second head or anything, is it?” ‘Adrian’ looked a little worried. (Gonna wait for Cam’s reply, lol) Ibis nodded, settling onto the bed. He grabbed several blankets off the bed and started pushing them into a circular, nest-like shape. Once he was satisfied, he settled down in the middle, letting his eyes close and he gave off a few weak "coo"s. The nest of blankets made him feel safe and warm, making his feathers give off a soft purple glow. |

Loki tensed at Runa’s words. He would have gestured that what she said was a bad idea, but it was too late; the words were already out of her mouth. Ah, well. She had to learn at some point. Inwardly, he agreed with Runa’s sentiment, even if he wouldn’t dare say so outloud.
“Nope.” The ‘bunny’ spat. It was a lie, of course, but she’d already discovered that her small rabbit teeth were no match for her usual source of sustenance. Pandora wondered if it were possible for her kind to starve, especially considering she was currently in a different, closer-to-living form. There were other ways of drawing the needed energy into her, but she hadn’t tried. She hadn’t yet reached that point of desperation.
Aurora glanced back at Damocles’ words. Thicker skull? She supposed that might be the case, since Berserker was a much larger animal, although she had no way of knowing. As she neared the barrier’s edge, she hesitated. How was she going to handle the impatient brothers if they were still trapped inside?
Peter browsed through the infirmary, but couldn’t read most of the labels. He found himself wishing that his internal translating chip worked on written words, rather than just spoken speech. That would be incredibly useful. But of course, Arcanians hadn’t yet perfected that technology. If only Aurora were here… I’m sure she could tell me what this stuff is. He picked up a bottle that might have been some kind of antiseptic. Or, it could be highly erosive acid. There really was no way to tell, but he doubted there would be anything so dangerous in a place for sick and injured people. He removed the lid and took a whiff. “How are you feeling now?”

After a few moments of this, a pellet came up that was made of the bones and fur of the mice he had eaten earlier. He blushed and hid his face in his wings. "Oh Im so sorry you had to see that, how rude of me..." he said, feeling guilty that Peter had seen that. |

I'm sure you haven't even reached your 16th birthday. I done past a couple hundred of these birthdays. Loki has past even more then that. Practically anyone under a hundred years old is a kid here." She said and crossed her arms.
"You know nothing about me! So stop acting like you know everything!" Morgan snapped.
Raja couldn't help but chuckle at Runa's argument. The put probably all but three others as kids. |

Peter worriedly glanced back at Ibis as he started coughing, frowning as a gross-looking pellet went flying out of his mouth. An eyebrow rose. “No, it’s fine. You’re a meat-eater, right? There’s lots of those around here.” He merely shrugged it off and resumed his search for some bandages. “I’m glad you’re feeling better, at least.”
Rather than participate in the argument, Loki turned and walked off in the direction of his own personal kitchen. It seemed Raja was taking the information well. That was good, but the trickster was still uncomfortable with having told him. It hadn’t been his intention to let him know, especially with what was fated to happen in the next few months. He cursed his emotions for forcing him into it.
Aurora breathed a sigh of relief when the barrier allowed Kiba through. “I wonder what that was about…” What if it happened again? What if, next time, it never let anyone through? What if it cut off when a person was halfway through it? The thoughts brought a shudder. She was going to make it a point to figure out what happened, and how to prevent a reoccurance.
‘Adrian’ glared at Adrian, but did as Summer asked and didn’t say anything.

“Yes, you may. But only if I go with you.” If there really were a sword laying out in the middle of the woods, Aurora was curious to see where it was, in addition to what it looked like.

Aurora was expecting something along those lines, and quickly pursued after Kiba. She was a lot quicker than she looked and had no problems keeping pace with him. Catori, meanwhile, was polite and waited behind to go keep up with Damocles.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." "I'm gonna regret this." Raja thought before bravely stepping between the two, "Ladies, this in no place to argue. And it puts you both in a childish light, so if nether of you want to be called a kid than please act more responsibly." Raja said and did regret his decision to step between them for the fact that his tone and choice of words reminded him of his time on the counsel.
Morgan blinked and looked at Raja having completely lost her fire to fight at the moment. She never expected to see or hear Raja like that. "Who are you and what did you do to Raja?" She asked voicing her confusion.
Runa was equally confused and ended up chuckling at Morgan's comment about it. |

“You mean berries? Those are pretty good. There’s a lot of different food that’s cooked here, so you’ll get to try all kinds of things.” Peter said over his shoulder with a smile. He was quiet after that, not immediately responding to the question. “No, I’ve been here… Well, almost a year now. I had to leave my home because it was too dangerous.” His words came out quiet and soft, as it was not a comfortable subject for him to discuss. When he located the bandages, along with some other stuff he deemed useful, he carried them back over to the bed Ibis was in.
Just short of stepping fully into the kitchen, Loki paused inside the doorway, hidden from sight but still within close enough proximity to hear what was being said. There was the smallest of huffs, followed by a small smile. He couldn’t agree more with what Raja said, even if they others would never hear him say that outloud.

"You don't want to know where that side of me is from." he thought a little darkly before shaking his head to clear those memories away. "Hey so I have a question." He ended up saying allowed.
Morgan crossed her arms actually wanting to know what the difference in Raja was for.
Runa actually started to get a worried look instead of the confused look she had been wearing off and on for the last fifteen minutes or so. |

Loki paused with his hand on a cabinet handle when he ‘heard’ Raja’s thoughts. He had some inkling of an idea what he meant, but wasn’t sure, and doubted very much that the lad would discuss it if he were right. As he withdrew something from within the cabinet, he paused again at Raja’s inquiry. “Yes?” He quiety asked without turning around.

Whatever Loki was expecting, it obviously wasn’t anything like that. Though, it could have been a lot worse and he was relieved that Raja hadn’t directly asked him anything pertaining to his mother. Even so, his grip tightened around the glass he held in his left hand. He gestured to the neat little table and chairs that rested at the far side of the kitchen, then filled the glass with some kind of juice and took a seat himself. As simple as the question was, the answer could in no way be presented as a straightforward one. In a low voice, nearly void of much emotion, Loki listed off what few things he did know about the goverment and situation on Moran. He’d only lived on the planet for a little less than three years, and so he was sure there were many aspects about it he’d missed.

Raja had sat down and listened to Loki answer the question which brought a slight frown, "So you probably don't know much about the war they were preparing for. Do you know the name Odin?" He responded not realizing the tension the name would cause for everyone on the fourth floor.
Morgan blinked and seemed to get mad all over again but for a different reason.
Runa was just surprised about the question and also curious about why the question was asked.

Alice's face brightened at the mention of something new. "Really? Wow! I didn't know that! But that's a good idea Aurora had, youve got to make most out of the space youve got." She then turned toward the castle, stretching for a moment. Before she was about to jump, she stopped: "Do we have to jump up there? i'm fine with that."
