"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Raja looked at the potion before looking at Loki and released the breath he had been holding, "Your reminding me about my mom. With how caring your actually being. Heck, you even went out and grabbed both Morgan and I. And that is definitely something different." He muttered before drinking the potion.
"I wonder why?" Runa muttered before very forcefully putting her too cents in Loki's mind, "That really should mean something since besides yourself, he is the only other one who knows what she was like."

The irritable expression on Loki’s face melted at the mention of Raja’s mom. His eyes drifted away from Raja, in an effort to keep the guilt out of his eyes. He stood back and crossed his arms, posture going a little tense. It was all too easy to just send the three of them away, now that Raja was patched up, but the guilt weighed heavily on his heart. Morgan and Runa both knew everything, and yet he still purposefully kept Raja in the dark. Runa had a point… He couldn’t keep the truth from Raja forever. There were already others in the castle that knew, and nothing was stopping any one of them from telling him. It had happened before with Pandora. What if he wasn’t there to stop it next time? What if he missed the fifteen minute mark, and wasn’t able to make Raja forget? How would Raja feel, knowing that he worked so hard to keep something so important from him? The trickster stood there in stoic silence, inwardly quarreling against himself and his emotions. Runa’s thoughts served only to make the feelings of guilt worse. The only thing that kept him from telling everything, then and there, was his irrational fear of Raja’s rejection. He was afraid that Raja would blame him for everything that went wrong with his life, and utterly reject him, and if that happened… Loki knew he’d be correct and have every right to hate him. Everything that happened was his fault. When it came down to it, it was that guilt that made it so hard to tell Raja his identity.

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Runa opened her mouth to say something but was stopped when Raja started speaking. "I know Runa didn't get to know mom. But she would have loved her too. Heck you would had too probably. She loved breaking rules and always encouraged it when she knew I'd get away with it. She also always enjoyed my jokes a pranks. Always saying I am like my father. But she never told me who he was. Always saying she had to protect me from people not of Moran." he said and looked down, "But she also always believed that I would one day meet my father. She always told me to not be mad at him because he did what he had to to protect the both of us. And I don't think I'd be able to be mad at him. I'd be happy to know him. And be able to learn better pranks from him." He added and looked towards Runa, "You have her ability. Your eyes and hair prove it. But you're temper much come from our father side because mom always kept a level head. Even when she was killed."
Runa blinked, "Wait. Mom was killed? How do you know?"
Morgan actually looked like she was about to cry, "Blast it all, just tell him! I-I wanna give my uncle a hug." She said not caring if she gave away that she had read the journals.

(pfp? I’m using a phone so I can’t see RP profiles, if that’s what you mean :c) “It’s no problem, really.” Peter insisted. Once he was sure that Corynn wouldn’t mind tending to his friend and pet, he’d accompany Ibis to the infirmary. He wasn’t sure the owl-like creature could tend to his own injuries without any help. Besides that, he was weak and didn’t know where to find the infirmary. Peter could tell him, but he wasn’t good at giving directions. Loki’s upper lip twitched a few hands, his jaw starting to clench in frustration. It was obvious that Raja was in a great deal of pain. Why wouldn’t he sit down? He noticeably flinched at Runa’s thoughts, and again at what Raja said. Rather than comment, he impatiently gestured for Raja to take a seat. The sooner the injuries were taken care of, the sooner he could get everyone out of his secret floor and avoid having to tell Raja anything. (Yeah. Here I'll put it in a spoiler) Ibis nodded, slowly blinking his eyes as he grew more tired.

Loki listened in stark silence as Raja spoke. It was hard to read his expression. The trickster looked as though he were in a great deal of pain, and almost a little… sick. He felt sick. At the very least, some of his fears and doubts were assuaged by Raja’s words, even if it didn’t make him feel any less guilty. If anything, he felt even worse, knowing that Raja’s mom had ensured he wouldn’t hate him, because he knew he deserved no less for their abandonment. With Runa’s words, Loki had to turn away, not meeting any of their eyes. Morgan’s thoughts made the hurt even worse, like a knife being driven through him. He grimaced and squeezed his eyes shut for a minute, trying to quell the building emotions. If he told him… he wanted to be able to think clearly. At long last, Loki released a sigh and took a seat in the corner of the room, running a hand over his face and through his hair. “I suppose… now is as good a time as any.” His words were barely spoken above a whisper, and it wasn’t clear if he intended for the others to hear him or not. He closed his eyes for a moment to gather his concentration, and decide how he wanted to word everything.
(That’s really nice, I love it! What program or tools did you use to make it?)
Peter led the way out of the kitchen, making sure to walk slowly so that Ibis would have no trouble keeping up with him. Although, the stairs worried him. Would he have trouble climbing them?

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Raja glances at Loki with a confused look before looking back and Runa who actually looked away. He frowned slightly and stood up to get Loki to look at him, "As good a time for what?" he asked softly after moving to stand in front of Loki.

It was obvious that Loki was not expecting Raja to walk over, and he flinched uncomfortably beneath his gaze. He was silent for a long moment, his expression a troubled one as he grasped for the appropriate way to handle the situation. Then, it hit him… He recalled how Raja’s mother enjoyed riddles. What better way to hand over the truth? He shifted around in the seat to get more comfortable, which failed. “As I listened to you just now, I am reminded of something that happened long ago. Perhaps… I should start from the beginning.” Loki paused to take another deep breath to steady his nerves. Then, he began…
“I was bound in Asgard for over a millenia. I remained as such until little more than two hundred years ago, when I escaped… Hela warned me that the Asgardians were aware that I was free, and were searching for me. I went into hiding. In the weeks following… I found myself upon a strange planet that lacked a sun. Fortunately, the language was one I already knew.” There was a hint of annoyance that briefly passed through Loki’s voice. “As I have once stated, quite explicitly, I know many languages…” he cleared his throat and resumed, “I spent several months on the planet, hiding, observing from a distance until I had gleaned enough about the populace to blend in. I altered my appearance and forged a new identity. I was… indistinguishable from the rest of the population. Or so I believed…” Loki paused to take a breath, fingers digging into the chair’s arm rests, and avoiding eye contact, “A young woman discovered that I was not a true native… but rather than lawfully report my presence to the authorities, she… befriended me.” There was another uncomfortable pause, “We… lived together for nearly two years, and were quite happy.” His eyes clouded over as he seemed to relive the memories in his mind. Then, he released a tired sigh before continuing again. “But all good things must end… I was out one day, purchasing food for our home, when I spotted Skul… People were being lined up in a row, to be searched and scanned, in hopes of locating me among them. I never thought. I ran… After ensuring that I was not being followed, I returned home and explained what was happening. The woman knew that my time on the planet had come to an end. I could no longer stay. She wished to accompany me, but I forbid it. I… did not want to endanger her.” His jaw clenched as a wave of pain swept through his veins, making him feel sick again. “We were… devastated. I falsely assumed that she would be safe. I made myself believe that she would live a long, happy, fulfilling life…” His eyes flooded with guilt, and moisture pricked the corners. The next words spoken were much quieter than the rest. “When I departed from that planet… I did not know that her life would be cut off so cruely… and I did not realize she was carrying my child…” As Loki finished relaying his story, he grew very still. The guilt continued to cloud his eyes and he refused to meet anyone’s gaze. The ensuing silence was intense and immediate.

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Raja blinked for a moment before hugging Loki. Definitely not something he ever expected to hear. But it was something he was glad to hear. With a pause and uncomfortable cough he took a step back, "No joke right? Your honestly saying your my father?" He asked timidly. Mainly because he was a little scared that is wasn't going to be true or that it was all a dream right now. His hair though went from the dull grey to a Raven black with one blonde streak.
Runa was a little startled by Raja's reaction. Like how was the boy not even a little bit mad.
Morgan jumped up off the couch and floated over to give both Raja and Loki a hug, "Group hug!"

Whatever reaction Loki was anticipating, it certainly wasn’t this. He immediately tensed up from the hug and cast an uncertain look at Raja. To his question, the trickster sighed and gave a tired nod of his head, gaze going downcast again. “It is not a joke.” Was his very quiet reply. Morgan’s exclamation caused him to tense even more, if it were possible. He was not a hugging type of person, and he was already immensely uncomfortable by the situation. Ah, well… At least he should no longer find himself harrassed with demands to ‘tell Raja’.
Sabrina was silent throughout the entire ordeal, as the creature had fallen asleep shortly after arriving on the fourth floor. They only awoke at Morgan’s shout, stretching it’s long, weasel-like body and yawning.

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Raja looked down at Morgan and remembered why they had been out in the forest. "How about you explain why you had dragged me out to the forest anyways." He said softly.
Morgan blinked, "I gonna go!" She said nervously backing away. "Way to throw me in fire line." she thought and hoped to not be questioned about it.
Runa was now curious about why they had been in the forest to begin with. She also absently started petting Sabrina.

Loki’s eyes narrowed at Morgan. He hadn’t realized that she had purposefully dragged Raja out into the forest, having believed that their presence there was a stroke of bad luck. An eyebrow raised as Loki gestured for her to explain.
Sabrina gave another long, lazy stretch and wrapped tighter around the back of Runa’s neck, like a furry scarf. The fluffy creature’s eyes closed, a content little smile on its face, as Runa pet it.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Morgan went invisible to just hide from Loki. She also attempted the go through the floor only to find she couldn't.
Raja rolled his eyes. "She had said something about setting up a prank." he said, rating Morgan out more.
Runa was momentarily distracted by Sabrina.

Loki rose from his chair, eyes focused on Morgan until she disappeared. It was strange, as though a weight had literally been lifted from his shoulders. “Is that so?” He muttered. “If you’re trying to go through the floor, do not bother. That won’t work.” The trickster said with a roll of his eyes.
Sabrina lay there quietly, acting nearly like a sleeping ferret, and resembling one at that.

"Yeah, she wanted to prank you." Raja added with a chuckle before shaking his head.

Ibis followed closely behind, grateful that Peter was going at a slow pace. They reached the stairs, and Ibis looked up them, a bit worried. While it wasn't a huge staircase, it was enough to probably tire himself out about half way. If he could just make it half way there... maybe he could try and see if he could use his wings to help him the rest of the way up. He opened his wings, letting out a whimper as one of his wounds re-opened. "I gotta use my wings to get up there. Even though I'm pretty light... I don't think I'm light enough to be carried..." he said, giving his wings and gentle beat. Pain surged into his chest, but he grimaced and ignored it. (Thanks! I use photoshop)

‘Adrian’ continued to freak out, bemoaning ‘his’ terrible fate and wondering outloud if ‘he’ would be a leopard cub forever. ‘He’ sounded entirely sincere, and not at all like some imposter trying to get a funny reaction from Summer.
Aurora pressed an ear against the door and listened carefully. There were no sounds that would alert her to trouble. It just sounded like someone sleeping, very peacefully. “Claudia is alright. She’s just resting. She’ll be up later, you’ll see.” Aurora pet Damocles again, “In the meantime, there’s something weird going on outside, so nobody can leave the clearing.” She said with a sigh. Hopefully the problem would be remedied soon, before anyone else was hurt.
Something didn’t seem right. “Oh?” Loki turned to the direction he’d last heard Morgan’s voice, though he doubted she’d stayed in the same spot after speaking. “And what was… the nature of this prank?” His instincts told him that Morgan may have been lying about it. He could easily imagine her leading Raja into some kind of clever trick, but couldn’t imagine her conspiring on one with him. Yet… he also couldn’t figure out what logical reason she would have of leading Raja into the forest -- especially if she knew beforehand that the hunter was lurking there.
(Cool! I used to use Photoshop a lot, until I lost my computer. I’m planning to get back into it when I get another. ^^)
That was what Peter was most afraid of. He grimaced as he saw one of the wounds reopen. “Uh, we’d better not risk you hurting yourself anymore. Just… try to climb as many as you can, and I’ll help you up the rest of the way. It’s only one staircase.” Peter tried to sound as encouraging as possible. The bird looked a little heavy, being close to Peter’s size, and he doubted very much that he’d be able to pick him up or carry him. What Peter didn’t realize was that his physical strength had more than doubled in the past two months, due to an ill-fated blood transfusion from his werewolf adoptive sister.

"Oh, i see," Alice response was a simple murmur as she stepped back slightly. "It's fine really. I was just wondering why..." She suddenly went silent and shook her head, "But it's all good now, the barrier is back to its usual self and everything will be okay." She seemed to almost be attempting to reassure herself. Her purple eyes drifted off the huldra and lifted up towards the top of the castle, she wondered what she could see from up there - and wondered why she hasn't been up there yet.

He was a bit nervous, as he'd never walked up stairs before, and they felt skinny to his wide bird feet. His talons gripped the smooth surface, giving him a bit of a better grip. He made his way up a few more steps, and took a second to breathe. He felt extremely dizzy, and gripped his talons into the stair he was on, lowering himself to keep balance. "I-I don't know if I can make it anymore..." he panted, his breaths sounding like raspy cooing.

(Sorry for the poof, I was letting my phone charge back up)
“It is?” As if they didn’t believe it, Skaldi waded through the garden, vegetation tickling the child’s ankles as they brushed past. Skaldi tentatively extended a hand at the far edge. Unlike before, there was no longer a tangible force keeping everyone inside the meadow. A pleased grin crossed Skaldi’s face and they turned back to Alice with a shout. “It is fixed!” With a happy skip and a bounce, the young huldra returned to the cat-girl’s side and followed her gaze. “Have you went there yet?” Skaldi asked, pointing up at the roof.
Peter kept close to the bird’s side as they ascended the stairs, ready to catch him at a moment’s notice if he slipped or started to fall. “Alright, um…” The boy bit his lower lip and studied Ibis, trying to determine his center of gravity so he’d have some idea how to carry him, without any strain to Peter’s back or injury to Ibis. “I’m going to come behind you and put my arm around you, to make things a little easier and keep you from falling.” He figured, with Ibis’ timid nature, it would be better to announce his plans first so that it wouldn’t frighten him.
“Oh… but who would do something like this to me?” ‘Adrian’ whined again, ‘his’ small ears turned back against 'his' skull.
“Not until… whatever that is out there is fixed.” Aurora answered with a sigh. At least no one was trapped outside of it. That would have been immeasurably worse, what with the predators that lurked in the forest.
Loki ran his hand through his hair again, issuing a soft sigh. He wasn’t quite sure what to believe, considering that Morgan occasionally kept company with Pandora. At least she seemed more preoccupied with the werewolf pup. “I will… adjust the shield around to allow the three of you. The entry is located on the stairs connecting the third story to the roof,” he paused, eyes narrowing specifically at Morgan, “However… there shall be no more theft.”
