“No, El is a vampire.” Peter waited to see how Asher would respond to that revelation before adding to it. Would she even know what a vampire was? If the place she was from was anything like the movie, then he somehow doubted she would.
Shadows melted through the floor and rose up in a smoky pillar in front of El. The shape wavered for a moment and coalesced into a humanoid shape. An instant later, it became a young girl with a dark blue cloak and dragon mask. “OOOH! Good idea!” The specter released a manic sounding giggle, “Poor Icky. I think this might be worse than the hydra incident.” At that, she snickered.
“Oh…” Skaldi glanced in dismay at the place of the thrown berry. They didn’t like to see any amount of food go to waste, after enduring so many harsh winters in which edible plants were precious and scarce. That was further complicated due to Skaldi’s strict meat-free diet, which the others of their kind did not share. “I am Skaldi. Who are you?” As they fully entered the garden, the young huldra plucked a small, orange colored fruit that resembled a flower and began to carefully peel it.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you."  Asher frowned confused before shaking her head, "What's a Vampire?" She asked, though she was curious about why this woman went by the name 'El'.
El chuckled before standing up, "I didn't know ghost could shape shift." she said softly. |

Clip shook his head. "Any how could someone like that help anyone?" He glanced sidelong at Loki. "And the barrier let's him through normally? This is exactly the kind of thing I need to prevent!" His hand wrested on the golden hilt of his dagger. He looked over at the trio, trying to see how bad the injuries actually were. He decided a test was in order. Letting sound once again pass through the barrier he turned to look at Loki one more time.

“Um…” Peter bit his lip, “It’s someone who has to drink blood to live, and can’t go out in the sunlight,” he carefully explained, “But she’s a really nice person, and there’s no reason to be afraid of her.” “Oh, but I’m not a regular spirit.” Dragon girl chuckled, “There’s a lot of things that I can do.” She attempted to sound as mysterious as possible, which wasn’t easy considering the gigantic grin she wore, partially obscured by the mask. Loki narrowed his eyes at Clip. “This has been my dwelling place for far longer than anyone else here, you dull creature. Let me through or you shall dearly regret it.” The threat came out in nearly a growl. The trickster was quickly running out of patience and nearly ready to kill again. Outcasts gag reel!!!!!
“Um…” Peter bit his lip, “A vampire drinks human blood and bursts into flames when exposed to sunlight. But don’t worry. You’re much too small to be considered prey. At most, you’d just be a small, flightless snack.”
“Oh, but I’m not a regular spirit.” Dragon girl chuckled, “There’s a lot of things that I can do… And by the way, I was hired earlier by our creators to prank you. Sorry, not sorry.”
Loki narrowed his eyes at Clip. “This has been my dwelling place for far longer than anyone else here, you dull creature. Let me through or you shall dearly regret it. Can’t you see that my son is injured?” The trickster immediately froze, realizing his mistake.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Asher made a face at the idea of drinking blood to survive. "As long as she doesn't hurt anyone." She muttered.
"I never said normal. I just said ghost." El pointed out before looking back in the library to make sure nothing had caught fire.
Raja chuckled at how his friend was quickly losing his temper, "If it makes you feel better I can vouch for Loki that he doesn't harm anyone unless provoked." He said glancing at Clip. |

“No, she’s not like that. El wouldn’t hurt anyone here and she’s completely trustworthy.” Peter said, trying to reassure her. The thought of drinking blood also grossed him out, but he wasn’t one to judge. It wasn’t like she had any choice about it.
“Po-tay-to, po-tah-to.” Dragon girl said with an eyeroll. “I’ve been dying to ask… but where do you get your blood from?” She leaned forward slightly in anticipation of the answer.

Clip gave them a look like they were all insane. He looked at Loki, worried about his last comment. "What kind of creature am I to you? I don't trust people with little knowledge." He stared into Loki's eyes, waiting for the answer.

Without any hesitation, Loki described how Clip appeared to him. He wasn’t really surprised that the others were so calm about it. There were lots of strange people and creatures that called the castle their home. They were no doubt use to it by now.
Peter headed into the kitchen, pausing in the entrance. He took note of Aurora, who was washing off a plate, but he didn’t recognize the other girl or the… was that a white wolf? The boy was a little apprehensive about potential predators after what happened with the eagle and Asher. Even though the castle would protect anyone inside it, it couldn’t stop a wolf from potentially scaring his small friend.
“Awww, c’mon!” Dragon girl whined, hands falling to her sides melodramatically, “I won’t tell anyone, and I’ll tell you anything you want to know about anyone here.” She offered.

Corynn turned towards the doorway and chuckled before waving. "Yeah that's my hyper child." She added.
Kyra had looked at at the shout and ended up cautiously going over to Peter to check his scent.
El raised an eyebrow, "Anything? Including how I could tell Peter the truth?" She asked to clarify. |

Clip's eyes went wide as the description went on. Quickly he put his hands on the barrier and pushed it out. The barrier folded out and quickly surrounded Loki in a big round bubble. Once he was all sealed in Clip shoved the ball, making it roll away from the clearing. "You wanted me to trust that?!"

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Runa sighed, "Yes. Gods and goddesses are about to see past glamour. So of course he could see you differently then us." She attempted to explain hoping her explanation would work.
"I wonder why he doesn't just teleport in." Raja muttered mostly to himself.
Morgan didn't seemed phased by the description that Loki gave, though when Runa mentioned seeing something different then Loki she looked away from everyone. |

“Uhh… what?” Peter’s eyebrows met in confusion, “What’s a husky, and why did you call her your child?” He was sure that couldn’t be right. As the ‘husky’ padded over, Adonis began to grow nervous and Peter took a step back.
Aurora took Corynn’s words literally but didn’t question it. “Hey, Peter.”
“Aaaaanythiiiiing…” Dragon girl clarified. “I can also tell you about things that are happening right now, and things that haven’t happened yet!” She neglected to add that she was limited on what she wanted to say, and allowed to say.
Loki shouted as he found himself suddenly surrounded and enveloped in a barrier. He nearly lost his footing as the creature sent it rolling, yet somehow, he managed to run quickly enough to avoid falling down. It was comical in a way. The trickster was essentially trapped in a giant hamster ball. He failed to see any humor in it, and wished his teleportation worked around magical shields. That would have saved him a lot of trouble.

Clip sighed watching Loki roll off. "That's not how this works. Anyone who sees what i really am? They have a heart tainted by darkness. A corruption that's grown over their desires. It isn't safe to have someone like that around. " he crossed his arms, but watched over the barrier.

Runa looked at Morgan confused and concerned.
"A husky is a breed of dog back on earth." Corynn explained with a chuckle. "And I called her my child because I've practically raised her since she was born." She added.
"I wanna know IF and HOW I can tell Peter that he is a werewolf because of the blood transfusion he got from Aurora back on earth." El said and crossed her arms, "Guarantee me that you can tell me that with no other worldly restrictions and then you have yourself a deal." She added. |

Loki finally got the blasted thing to stop a small distance away from the others. He turned, fixing Clip with a hateful glare. Muttering something unintelligible, he slammed his fist against the shield, out of anger rather than trying to break it.
Peter cradled the lynx-like kitten protectively. “How is she with cats?”
“Sure, there are some ways to do it. You could tell someone else, and get them to tell him. Or you could make up a story of someone getting turned into one because of blood, and let him figure it out. But… None of them will work in the longrun,” Dragon girl said with a shrug, “No matter what you do, there will be something placed in your path to stop you. Even if you straight up told him, he’ll just go dumb and won’t get it. Peter is fated to find out, but not until he changes for the very first time. Don’t worry though, that’ll happen in another month or two. Icarus has been giving him what he thinks is a suppressant, but it’ll stop working.” The ghost was uncharacteristically serious throughout the explanation, as she loved flaunting the things she knew. It made her feel smart.

Peter transferred Adonis to his left arm, then held out his right hand toward Kyra to see how the dog would react to the kitten’s scent. He watched carefully for any signs of aggressive or predatory behavior. The young cat clung to Peter’s left shoulder, eyes wide open, ears flattened and hackles rising. It was fairly obvious that the feline was nervous around canines, even though he didn’t have a problem with werewolves in human form.
Dragon girl’s eyes grew larger as El whispered in her ear. The slightest of grins formed, even though the revelation did bother her on some deep, subconscious level. “Really? That’s where you get it? Huh… Cool! Just don’t tell Peter.” The ghost snickered.

Peter quickly drew his hand back with a grin, and wiped his hand on his pants. He forgot that dogs were prone to doing that. Seeing as the animal seemed to trust him, the boy scratched her lightly on the head. “What’s her name?”
Adonis released a pitiful mew and began to wriggle in Peter’s grasp, trying to climb up to his left shoulder, where Asher was.
“Oh, I won’t tell. I promise. Cross my heart, and hope to die!” Dragon girl’s serious expression broke after two seconds and she grinned again. “Besides, I’ve got my own secrets.”

Peter pet the dog until his stomach not-so-subtly reminded him of his reason for coming to the kitchen. He grinned, “That’s a nice name. I’m Peter, my cat is named Adonis, and this is Asher.” The boy gestured to the fairy that sat atop his shoulder.
Aurora greeted Asher, having not met her beforehand, before politely excusing herself from the kitchen to go find Catori.
Adonis pressed his whiskered face toward Asher’s hand, ears still held low against his head. His dark blue eyes were wide open and he mewed again.
Dragon girl took note as El looked around. It appeared she was hearing something. “Welp. Gotta split.” The ghost saluted the vampire, then literally split into two halves before sinking through the floor with a demented giggle.

Alice snorted, standing up and putting her hands on her hips. "Alice." She simply responded, flicking a brown tabby cat ear. "If you don't mind me asking... what exactly are you?" She bit her tongue, hoping the way she phrased the question didn't come out as offensive. Her attention was then drawn to the strange orange flower that Skadi was peeling.

(jsyk, it’s Skaldi, not Skadi. :3 I liked the Norse name but wanted to make it unique to the character.)
Skaldi gave a small nod to Alice’s introduction. They’d never heard the human name before but it sounded nice. With a pleasant smile, Skaldi responded, “I am a huldra.” The young, human-like creature appeared no older than approximately twelve years old and spoke with an accent that was clearly Scandinavian. “What are you?” Skaldi thought the girl looked human, but couldn’t discount the cat ears and tail. Could she, perhaps, be related to the boy that was part cat?
Peter nearly lost his footing when the dog unexpectedly stood up against him. “Whoa!” He took a step back and tightened his grip around Adonis, who began hissing repeatedly at Kyra. “Um…” Peter looked around for a safe place that he could put the frightened kitten; at least long enough to get food for himself and Asher.

(The magical shield/barrier around the clearing has temporarily been put on lockdown, so nobody can get in or out of the clearing, and some of the characters could just be discovering that. I have Aurora, Catori, Dragon girl and Marcy free inside the barrier; Icarus and Hannah are free outside it. lol Armageddidn't) |

Annabelle walked out of her room with a look of boredom. She wondered what was happening around outside the clearing.
Summer was unlucky enough to be outside the clearing. She was in a tree, listening to the birds. She sighed, remembering that day.
