"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you."  Morgan didn't mine waiting for the two. Though her attention finally was drawn to the black cat that seemed to almost be watching her. She started to growl at the cat in a wolfish way and seemed to be debating on teaching Aura to chase cats.
Raja, though pouting slightly, had ended up back outside and was thinking about the dream he had been having lately. He knew it was a memory from when he first started to rebel against the council. What bugged him though was the fighting style his mom used and the language she spoke then. He could clearly remember not understanding what had been said but now he knew how to speak that language now but that did stop him from being confused. As he thought more about it though he started to realize something rather important. |

(Also, and I really need to add this to the front page, but I planned to have the Otherworld tie into the whole idea of Yggdrasil -- that famous tree of Norse mythology in which rested the 9 realms. The Otherworld -- where the RP predominately takes place -- is something like that, with all the other universes and timelines spread out in the 'branches', which is how so many people can end up there. It's like the base of the tree, and everything else connects to and extends out from it.)
When the moon spell was lifted, Aurora snapped out of it and found herself on the stairs between the first two floors. What had happened? She couldn't remember much about it and remained slightly disoriented. She figured she must have gone too long without eating and continued down the stairs. As she rounded the corner and started down the hallway, something caught her eye when she passed by one of the open entryways. She turned and lay eyes on the stranger curiously. Were those... spots that she was wearing?
The black cat flicked one of its ears at Morgan in a really unamused way. It showed absolutely no signs of fear or anxiousness at the growling.
Aura was content to be carried in Morgan's arms and paid no attention to the cat.

She muttered and decided to distract herself by thinking about how Raja's hair was still changing colours long past the twenty-four hour mark. (only if she realized who that cat was XD)
Raja slowly came to a stop near the edge of the clearing. "My father is from Asgard?" He muttered shocked before frowning in slight confusion. |

The cat uttered a low growl and pretended to wash a paw. He tried not to make it obvious that he was keeping an eye on Morgan and Aura. Although, soon he'd be watching over more than just four people. He just didn't yet realize it.

Had the cat realized what Morgan was thinking, he would have sped away like his tail were set on fire. As it were, he continued washing his paw and face like a normal cat. He heard footsteps as Aurora walked down the hall from the opposite end, but paid little attention to her. She had stopped and was looking at someone, more than likely a new resident that had found their way there. The black cat looked back at Morgan and yawned.

When she noticed the bubble she went all wide eyed just as the bubble burst and releasing all the water it had onto the cat which caused her to start laughing. |

The cat looked up right in time for the water to rain down upon it. The animal released a very angry hiss. Why did this keep happening? Drenched and wearing a very unpleasant expression, it turned to Morgan and just stared at her. Somehow, I feel that you are to blame for this. The cat shook and water droplets went everywhere.

The cat growled and his tail snapped around in an aggitated manner. 'This is the second time I have been drenched, and you were present both of those times.' It was evident now, with the mental voice, that the cat was indeed Loki in disguise.

She replied though she didn't want to add to his case that both times she had been thinking of water. "And it was a good thing it happened the first time. Otherwise you would have been flattened by brinks." She added almost sounding defensive. |

Loki-cat rolled his eyes. 'The only other person there both times was Hannah, and she is not capable of anything like that.' When the bricks were mentioned, he seemed to grow even more aggitated. 'And how did the bricks get there then?' He demanded. Part of him wondered more about this. True, he himself was capable of magic, but nothing quite like what Morgan seemed to be demonstrating. He made a mental note to have a nice chat with Hela later.

Athena sharpened her wise, silver gaze. "Well," She responded with a sigh, taking time to process the question; the thought had never really popped into her head. "I would feel pretty shook, but if i was dying to someone safe i would accept it. Death is a natural process, and for simple mortals; i suppose it will happen anyway."

Alice bit her lip for a moment before turning to Hannah. "Cosmos is an experiment... Experiment 37: Nebula." She shook her head dimly, "He was kept in a lab. I discovered Cosmos; but he was trapped in a strange black box." As the girl continued on, Cosmos' gaseous body twinkled. "I did manage to break the box open though."

(We so need to have Athena, Bast and Loki meet up with each other one day XD Norse, Greek and Egyptian mythology clashing lol.)
Bast was in her leopard-print skin tight leotard but she didn't care what others thought it was her normal outfit. When she felt eyes watching her she turned to face the werewolf and the cat part of her realized this girl in front of her was part hound. "You seem to be part hound but you appear to be human? Who and what are you and do you know what chaos is ensuing here?" Her questions came one after the other as Bast kept staring at Aurora.

Loki-cat stared at her as though he didn't fully believe it. 'Things change. I would not be surprised.' Loki still didn't know who Morgan's father was, so there really was no telling about what abilities she might develop. He would need to talk with Hela about it. It was only a shame that he'd broken his scrying bowl. The only way he'd be able to contact her now was with Claudia's mirror. The thought brought a scowl to his face, which looked odd in his current form.
"Oh, really?" Hannah asked without removing her gaze from the twinkling spacey-looking bird in her hands, "It's a good thing you were able to rescue him. He doesn't deserve to kept shut up in a box that way. No animal does." Tanks, when reasonably sized and maintained, were another story altogether. She couldn't say she disagreed with keeping animals that way, or else she'd be making herself a hypocrite. That thought brought her mind back to her RV and the animals, and she reluctantly handed the bird back over to Alice, "I should probably get going before it gets dark. It was nice meeting you...?" She realized she didn't know the girl's name.

Aurora indeed thought the outfit was outlandish, but refrained from commenting on it in order to be polite. However, she frowned at the cat woman's words. "I am neither 'hound' nor human. My name is Aurora," she neglected to answer what she was, as she felt it was nobody's business, "I suppose... there is always a little chaos around here, but you can't really expect any different with so many types of people and animals living together." She said with a smile.

Bast just sighed, her yellow cat-like eyes seemed to show annoyance but it was not pointed at the girl in front of her, it was pointed at Horus and Ra for sending her here when nothing out of the ordinary except for hound-girls seemed to be here. "I mean like actually chaos. The force of it. Like Ma'at is the force of order. Isfet is the force of chaos. I mean like that." Then she realized that this girl had no idea who she in fact was. "Oh you probably don't recognize me. Well that is an easy fix. I am Bast, Egyptian Goddess of Cats and protection as well as the Eye of Ra."
(This Bast is amazing XD. i think i would make a good cat goddess.)

She said before pulling out her tarot cards. "Because of these and my visions." She added softly. |

Hey @angelfur, is Bast your character's short name? I was asking because I was curious if Bast is short for Bastet, which is what the Egyptian cat goddess is actually called.

Lachy sort of just watched the others in silence, holding the metallic egg protectively in his arms. He had noticed Morgan looking over at a cat, and was curious what she was doing. Guessing by her change in expressions, and the cat's too, they were talking, just not out loud. He blinked, turning as Hannah mentioned that they should probably go.

The girl nodded in agreement to Hannah, "Alice." She responded, reaching out and carefully taking the cosmic bird from Hannah's hands. Cupping Cosmos in her hands, she stepped back and glanced over at the others seated at the table.

Aurora wasn't previously aware that there was an actual force behind chaos. None of the names were familiar either, and what was an 'Egyptian'? Her cluelessness was evident in her pale indigo eyes. "I know most of the residents here by name, and I have never heard of any of those people, or you. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help." She gave a half shrug, "You're welcome to search around for them, if you like." Normally, she would be more apt to protect anyone living in her home, but the thought of an actual force of chaos worried her, though she showed no signs of it.
(Ooh, good idea about Morgan. I could see that.)
Again, the black cat rolled his eyes at her. We will see about that. He said to himself.
Hannah introduced herself to Alice after the bird was transferred. "Nice to meet you. I'd stay and chit chat, but like I said, I need to go. I'll probably see you around though." She hoisted her bulky backpack onto her shoulders. After untying Nova's leash from the table, she wrapped the leash around her waist, through the belt loops. It was the easiest way to keep up with the dog. With a wave to Alice and Peter, and a motion at Lachy and Morgan, she started out of the kitchen. As passed through the door, Nova suddenly lunged at the black cat, mistaking it for one of Hannah's other pets. The dog wasn't being aggressive, but most cats would take it that way.
"Nova, no!"
The black cat swat at the dog's nose with a highly infuriated sounding hiss, and Hannah was forced to yank Nova back by her leash. She flashed an apologetic look at the cat before continuing on at a pace which the others could keep up with.

Lachy looked Alice and then Hannah, smiling and blinking, getting ready to get up to leave, grabbing his satchel and putting the egg into it. It was somewhat strange when Lachy decided he wasn't a part of a conversation, he became so silent that one could even think he was a mute. Then when he did talk, he sometimes didn't shut up. When he stood up, he nodded to Alice with a polite smile and started started over to Hannah, his eyes widening as he saw Nova tug at her to try and get the cat. Lachy took a few quick steps toward them, but slowed black down, seeing Hannah pull her back. He let out a small chuckle at it, before jogging to catch up, walking next to Hannah.

Bast sighed once again as she looked the girl up and down. "Well it is unfortunate that you do not know of the Egyptian gods. But I will be happy to explain it to you later. For now I have to hunt down the source of chaos that I was sent here to find. Goodbye for now." She said before walking into the castle, slightly pushing past Aurora.

"Yikes," Alice commented silently as she watched Nova lung at the black cat only to be hissed at in return. She looked down at Cosmos in her cupped hands, she reached out with her other hand and touched the top of the bird's head with a finger. It's gaseous body was unnaturally cold; like what it can be like in empty space. Cosmos opened his eyes and jumped to his feet, it's sparkling gaseous body wavering.

"I've always had them. Why I've always disliked going into any situation that might involve fighting alone." Claudia said softly and chuckled. "But lately the visions have just been of my baby boy. The main reason I know it's a boy. And he is always ready to protect this castle and everyone inside it. Even Loki." She added and sat her tea cup down. |

Hannah scolded Nova again once they were away from the black cat. "I know that looked like Phantom, but most cats won't play with you like he does. You can't just run up to them like that." She muttered.
The little blonde dog seemed to understand what she was saying and hung her head ever so slightly. Nova was stubborn and strong willed, but didn't like to be scolded.
After making sure the other two were following, Hannah led the way out of the castle.
The black cat, Loki, looked after them but didn't follow.
"What a weirdo..." Peter muttered beneath his breath, once he was sure Hannah was out of ear shot. He was normally friendly and warm toward most, but something about the blue-haired girl just rubbed him the wrong way. He couldn't really explain why. After he'd finished eating, Peter moved the empty dishes to the sink.
Aurora nodded once at the things Bast said. She was about to wish her luck, when the lady suddenly seemed to push past her. The werewolf-elf girl frowned at her. That was... unnecessarily rude... With a soft sigh, she shook her head and started to the kitchen.

Alice shrugged at Peter's comment, assuming Hannah to be quite a nice person; not too weird in any sense. Alice quickly finished up eating what was left on her plate, after letting Cosmos hop onto the table. The bird flew over and landed by the sink close to where Peter was, it looked up at the boy for a few blank moments before chirping loudly and flying around the room again.
