Cosmos twittered and landed on Alice's shoulder, feeling a piercing gaze on them. Alice's ears prickled, sensing danger.

Alice felt cold under the stare, she yawned again. "Now I kinda wanna take another catnap." She sighed tiredly. Cosmos flew around, knowing there was danger and seemed to be urging the group to turn back.

"Welp, guess we're not going back." Alice said. Cosmos twittered in alarm as it noticed something slither infront of the two.
Alice stepped back, her eyes widened. A large serpent like creature slithered out from the shadows and loomed over Passive from behind.
...
It hissed with an indrawn breath.

(Well, it's up to you. But it might be a bit of a gory death XD)
The serpent lowered it's head, it's mustard yellow eyes glowed. Alice gaped and immediately grabbed Cosmos and pulled him closer to her in order to protect the bird.

Tricksters were notoriously crafty beings.

The Basilisk let out a blood-curdling hiss like roar. The serpent's large fangs beared. It lunged foward to snap it's jaws at Passive but pulled back as a brown tabby cat jumped on top of the head; the violet eyed cat's claws dug into the serpent's head.

Getting to his room, Lachy opened the door and walked in. He'd already settled in fairly well for the time he had been there, the room looked somewhat messy, but he could easily find anything he needed. It was organised for him. Going over to his bed, he just sat down and put his head in his hands. He just had to sit for a moment to get his head space. However he jumped as he heard a noise, looking around to see where it came from.

(The attack is taking place away from the castle, right? The forest is very massive [Lamura is about a third or half as big as the United States] so I assumed they just reached a very large clearing when they came to the 'end'. :3)
Bunny-Pan grumbled, "I wanted to see if his magic could affect me in the castle. I didn't think it would..." She was sorely disaapointed by the resilts of her 'test'.

The Basilisk threw it's head back, throwing Alice off. It was hit by one of Passive's attacks and roared. It's spiked tail pulled back and lashed out aggressively at the two.

Passive raised the sword to the sky, charging it.

The Basilisk took the chance while Passive was charging the sword to lung foward with open jaws for Passive's throat. Just before it's could clamp it's jaws shut, a brown tabby jumped in between the two. Alice's abnormal violet eyes glowed profusely, and the Basilisk's head hit against some sort of invisible barrier.

The sword caught fire. Passive darted around the Basilisk and slashed at its tail.

Alice watched as passive darted for the tail. "Leave the head for me!" The cat called out before launched abnormally high into the air and landed on the Basilisk's head, her claws digging deeply into the mustard yellow eyes to blind the thing. The Basilisk let out a scream, throwing Passive off it's tail.

Passive slammed into a tree, then collapsed on the ground. She coughed up a little blood.

The cat clawed at the Serpent's eyes until it threw her off. Alice turned to check up on Passive, her violet eyes glowed and she turned back into her ordinary form, a crossbow at hand.

Alice shot at the Basilisk with the crossbow, the purple pointed bolt went up in flames and struck the serpent. The crossbow itself poofed. The Basilisk let out a bellow before striking foward at the two. It's head smashed against a tree behind Passive, the bark cracking. Alice transformed into a cat once again.
