And then, ultimately the ball caught up to them. Running over the three, before rolling off and getting stuck in the doorway of the castle.

Aurora, Icarus and Skaldi were all pressed into the ground, grimacing as the ball rolled over them. Icarus was wearing a protective suit, so the only thing it really hurt with him, was his dignity. Aurora shook it off rather quickly, but Skaldi continued laying face down, dazed, confused and in pain.

A small crack started to form over the glass ball. Every moment passed brought the crack larger and larger. Until eventually the whole ball shattered and vanished. The only thing left there, was a young boy and an older woman lying face first on the ground. The boy slowly got up to his feet, shaking from the intense dizziness. "S-see I told you I could block that!" He fell back onto his butt, and tried to make the world stop spinning.

Loki stared at Raja, mulling over the words. He was at a loss for how to answer by this point, his guilt weighing heavily. "Indeed... That is true. However... your help shall not be required. This is for your own good." With a sincerely apologetic look in his eyes, the trickster eliminated the memory from Raja's mind, then changed her back to a 'he' and stood back. He had to be sure he didn't remember anything about what had happened.

Icarus glowered at the two of them and quickly recomposed himself. Aurora looked on curiously, wondering where they were from, while Skaldi continued to lay there.

The little boy abandoned their companion instead making his way over to the other three. He saw the other kid lying face first on the ground, and wondered what exactly their problem was. "So uh, I see A castle here. But it sure isn't the one we were just in. So uh, where exactly are we?" He asked looking over towards Icarus and Aurora.
The older woman continued to lie there for a minute. Regretting every moment of ever listening the that kid.

Icarus crossed his arms and glanced off to the side. He wasn't about to answer the brat that just bowled over him.
Aurora sighed, "This is the Otherworld, in a place called Lamura, and that over there-" She pointed to the castle, "Is my home. Well, my shared home. A lot of others live here too."
Skaldi finally managed to sit up and spat out a clump of grass and dirt, "Ugh..."

Loki schooled his features in the time it took Raja to snap back to reality, and merely nodded his head once to Raja's response. He caught sight of the tears, but since he knew the memory erase wouldn't affect emotions, he thought little of it. Without waiting for another word, Loki attempted to walk past him toward the third story. He was still deeply troubled and guilty over what he'd just had to do, and was trying to hide that.

The boy again looked over at the kid. "What's wrong with them? Is it tradition around here to eat dirt or something?" He shrugged a bit, looking up at the tall and brooding one. "And what's your issue? Do you not know where you are, or just don't like answering questions?" He crossed his arms. Aurora had as of yet done nothing to offend the kid.
Joan got up to her feet, and started to dust herself off. Despite the new stains of dirt and grass, her clothes were obviously expensive. From patches a high quality leather, to the blue cape that hung off her left shoulder. A tome, with two blades crossing displayed on the back.

"Runa? Do you know what just happened?" He asked but Runa didn't respond since she wasn't about to have Loki try anything with her memories though she doubted he could do anything since she wasn't in that universe. |

Skaldi shook their head, "I do not eat grass or dirt, no." The kid shuddered. To even consider such a notion was repulsive.
Icarus scoffed, "I know exactly where I am. I just didn't particularly care to talk to you." With that being said, he decided to go inside the castle and look for his brother, whose curfew was nearing.
Aurora watched the irritable young man walk off and turned to the strangers, "Who are you, and what was that... thing?"
Loki hurried away before Raja could question him.

Joan stared up at the castle, marveling at the architecture. It certainly didn't look like something her nation would build. And she wasn't sure she'd ever actually seen a demon build anything! She glanced back, and saw her compatriot angering some locals. She sighed, unable to leave the kid alone for even a moment.
The boy looked back as Icarus walked off. "What crawled up his?" He looked back to Aurora, and gave a big grin. "Clip, at your service. For any of your salvage, or barrier needs. Need a battlefield looted, or expecting assassins? Then there's no one better to have in your retinue." He gave a small bow.

Loki teleported back to his room in the fourth story, and decided to go through the notebooks again to get his mind off of things.
Aurora didn't understand the first question, or some of the other things the kid said, but managed a smile, "Nice to meet you, Clip. I'm Aurora, and the kid behind me is Skaldi."
Skaldi smiled and waved.
Hannah set Morgan and Lachy on fire with the torch continued to follow after Morgan.

Clip narrowed his eyes at the kid, before flat out ignoring her. "So who rules this land? What are the laws like?" He glanced back at the sound of Joan walking up to them.
"I apologize for anything he has already said. While his magic is certainly effective, Clip's attitude leaves something to be desired." She held a ringed hand out to Aurora. "Princ-Queen, Joan. Pleasure to make your acquaintance." She still hadn't gotten used to the new title. The coronation had only been a few days ago after all.

"Well, I have lived at the castle longer than the others, so it's sort of my home. The only rule I ask of anyone, is to do no harm. Anything inside the clearing is protected. Like... a haven. The closest kingdom is far north of here." Aurora looked at Joan's hand, unsure if she wanted her to shake it or not.
Skaldi stood and ambled over, looking up at Joan curiously, "Queen? What is a queen?"

Joan frowned and took her hand back. She hoped that it was just to customs of this land. And not that the girl already disliked her. She looked down at the approaching kid. They had strange ears, and a... tail? She glanced over to Aurora, as if looking for confirmation that this was normal. When she spoke to Skaldi, she did her best not to use too strong of a tone. "A queen is a leader of people. A woman responsible for the well being of an entire kingdom."
Clip yawned, the conversation having fallen away from him. It was then that his eyes lit up. He finally saw just what exactly they were standing under. "Oh, ho ho! I'm guessing that giant of a barrier is why this clearing is protected." He gave a big toothy grin.

Raja decided to head back to his room to try thinking over what might have just happened. |

Skaldi's eyes lit up, "Oh! So Aurora is a queen too, yes?"
Aurora gave a confirming nod to Clip, which Skaldi mistook for an answer to their own question posed. (And this is how Aurora starts getting called queen by Skaldi.)
Hannah was very disappointed by that, but not particularly surprised, "Oh... What now?"
