Alfonse finally decided that he wouldn't find the child inside, and consequently, gave up looking. He stepped tentatively past the kitchen, hoping Pandora had left, and made his way outside.
"I think it's very kind of you to open up your home to so many strangers." Ferra murmured the relative compliment towards a bookshelf, almost too shy to tell Aurora herself.

Peter decided he'd lay down in the cool grass and stare up at the clouds for a while. He folded his arms behind his head and stared at one particular cloud that resembled something of an angel - or possibly a demon - or maybe a combination.
Aurora was silent for a moment, "Well, it's not as though my home isn't big enough for it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't constructed for just one person to live in forever."

Alfonse peered over the clearing to search for Peter. The child seemed normal enough. Even if he didn't know about transversing worlds, maybe he could refer him to someone who did.
Ferra bobbed her head thoughtfully. "I suppose you have a point there..."

Peter watched the cloud slowly change shape in the wind, slowly taking on the appearance of a wolf. It reminded him of someone.
Aurora leaned fully back into the chair, silent. Her eyes clouded over as she became lost in thought about something.

"Hey actually is there an easier way to get here? I went through way too many thorns then I'd prefer." He asked her curiously.

Pandora giggled, "Well, I think they can write it off as a failure." She herself had actually been the subject of an experiment, but considered herself to be the pinnacle of success, even if she was technically a monster.

Mason growled slightly. "The only failure was when we escaped." And when people died. "They took children under three and messed with putting animal DNA in ours. It was a success." He said, though when hybrids were found out by the public they were subject to a lot of really terrible people. It was hard.

Something Mason said seemed to momentarily stun the girl, as though a really unpleasant memory was dredged up against her will. She shook it off quickly, however, and grinned, "Well good for you. Too bad it messed up your face. Did you at least get any powers?"

Mason noticed her smile faded slightly, but only for a moment. Did he hit a nerve with the labs? Possibly so. He ignored her comment about his face. He looked fine. He scoffed slightly. "I'm a crow, how many powers can I get?" He asked sarcastically. He had flight, and talons on his finger tips but he filed them down.

(I may know how to get Mason to the castle, depending on how easily he would freak out over something. For example, if her eyes suddenly turned pitch black, which they can. I would have her lead him back herself, but I'm not ready for her to go back just yet.)
"Aww, that's too bad." She tapped her chin, thinking. "I bet you'd fit in nicely with those freaks back at the castle." She jerked her thumb in the direction of the fortress.
