Call the Inseparable Souls that can never be parted, Blessed with magic and madness, all good things departed; The One with the Brains, mentally quite strong As far as she knows, she's never been wrong
The Luck of the Irish, with no self-control, a choice she must make to beat evils foretold; An Ill Wind swept from home in the East, the very nature of this teenage Beast.

well in terms of actual events, all we have left is bry's death and the gaining of the weapon, and then the final battle at chb? dahlia has to wield the weapon as a daughter of pan, which i'd completely forgotten about. but how does j's betrayal fit into this again???? there's something in my notes about bec being the one who charges the weapon
brooke already solved the riddle with the fishermen i think, so her part of the prophecy is done

"The questees have left under the cover of darkness, stealthily avoiding the monsters who have already begun to gather outside camp. So far, the barrier is still holding, but every day it's becoming more apparent its power is fading. The first obstacle they've encountered: the location of the weapon that is said must be used to defeat Khaos. This information is located in Blake's memories. His mother, Iris, had been sending him this information in dreams, but Morpheus, working alongside Khaos, has blocked them. The group has happened across a small potions shop owned by Arke, Iris's twin sister who sided with the Titans during the titan war. Not wanting to get involved on the losing side of a fight again, she is not working with Khaos, and has agreed to free the dreams from Blake's mind. This is where we are currently at in our RPing. Soon, Blake will tell the group the weapon is located in Las Vegas.
The weapon is Circe's wand, which can only be imbued with power by a child of Circe. It is extremely powerful when properly charged, but runs the risk of turning the person charging it mad. Next they come across two fisherman, who pose a riddle to the group. The questees are magically bound from moving until they solve the riddle. The riddle in question is said to have caused the death of the greek poet Homer - He asked some fishermen how they were doing and they responded, "What we caught, we threw away; what we didn’t catch, we kept. What did we keep?" Homer died without solving it. The answer? Lice. Brook is the one who solves this riddle and the group can move along.
They make it to the weapon with some shenanigans along the way, and find themselves at a casino and in debt to a god, Helios. He possess Circe's wand but it is sealed away and can only be unlocked with the sacrifice of a child of Circe. Bryony must die before the quest can move along, And Helios forces Elle, his own daughter, to decide to kill her or let Khaos win, which would ultimately kill them all. There is no other option. Elle kills Bryony and the group leaves with the wand. After escaping Helios's place in Vegas, the questees hop out of the frying pan and into the fire, and are almost immediately captured by some monsters. It's revealed that Jonah, my garbage son, has been collaborating with them nearly the entire time, having been approached by his own father, a forgotten god himself, and convinced that Khaos' ideas are just and true. Jonah and the monsters leave the questees imprisoned/incapacitated and meet up with Khaos, preparing a final assault on the camp, in Santa Cruz, California.
Here is where Sophia's role comes in, where her powers help the group escape their bonds, motivated by anger at Elle and grief over Bryony as well as Jonah's betrayal. They're able to track Jonah somehow and catch up with Khaos' army. Jonah has struggles, and it seems like the Questees are about to be totally murdered But then Khaos delivers a Big Bad speech and they transport everyone to CHB, where a war is already well under way, the barrier completely dissolved.
The weapon needs to be charged using Bec's powers, but he runs the risk of going mad doing it. Ultimately, he must decide to make a sacrifice of his own, following in the footsteps of his sister, and he does it. Dahlia, being the daughter of a nature god, imbued with powers of life, is the one who must use the weapon, firing it directly at Khaos and filling the void, filling the empty with love and life.
The battle ends almost immediately, the group has won, and the world saved. The demigods, broken, try and put the pieces of their lives back together, and resolve to create a world where anyone can leave their mark, no matter how small or unimportant." -Blade

so rn Helios has the weapon
if theyre on the way or in vegas, the next stop is meeting with Helios where he makes Elle kill Bry
then they get captured by monsters are they are escaping, and find out that Jonah is a backstabber. (wait why is an attack happening in santa cruz??)
not sure who sophia is but they track down jonah with her and then they are transported over to camp.
charge the weapon with bec's power, then dahlia uses the wand and kills khaos.

that sounds very good actually! love the inspiring line at the end blade
we're gonna have to figure out the logistics of elle killing bry tho bc no way does bec just let that happen. plus gotta figure out which casino the weapon's at and how they know. also how they know bec can charge the weapon and dahlia can wield it. maybe helios drops an exposition bomb, or someone actually does the research
i do feel like we've done a pretty poor job of establishing khaos as an actual threat to camp and the world, though. maybe bry and brooke get word about how the defenses at camp are crumbling and things keep getting worse and worse?? an increase of monster attacks? maybe the mist is starting to fail and mortals are seeing monsters, or nyx is being given free reign and the nights are inexplicably getting longer. one of my ideas for the khaos wins au was that it's dark pretty much all the time
plus it's weird that khaos like, knows the prophecy and the power of the weapon, but isn't really doing anything abt it besides vaguely sending nyx in their direction. wouldnt they be trying to get to helios. or trying to kill both kids of circe bc theyre the only ones who can power it up and access it

bec decides to become a bear and lives in the woods,
and jonah may or may not be dead
while the rest of the crew tries to live out the rest of their lives possibly at camp possibly somewhere else

idk what sophia's abilities were as a character, but leah's a daughter of hephaestus, maybe she manufactures some sort of tracking device or w/e

oh no, i just realized when we lost the old forums we lost the rp where tristan was kind of leading andrew on and andrew kissed him
we have the ensuing conversations abt it with courtney and then all three of them arguing about who the best kisser is (tristan is somehow hurt that andrew says court despite the fact that he didnt even kiss andrew back)
but still, what a loss

its actually kinda ironic because sometimes the bear is a symbol of love and the reason bec's out there is because he loved and was hurt by it

lmao i love the idea of random monsters just trying to carry bec & bry off. after a few experiences brooke started doing regular headcounts
okay so maybe brooke gets an iris message from one of my characters and bry sees the end of it, and they kind of have a discussion about how things are going and what theyre expecting from the next phase of the quest?? gives them something to talk about at least

its actually kinda ironic because sometimes the bear is a symbol of love and the reason bec's out there is because he loved and was hurt by it this is deeply depressing is there even a timeline where bec is happy & content & gets to live his life

brooke probably does her best to help bec post-quest but her strategies are. questionable. she keeps going out into the woods and telling bec to 'bear with her' and it never ends well

it gives me enough time to actually read what i wrote and realize my mistakes

lmao so theres this coffee stand (independent, not like a common bigfoot or fox hollow) and whenever i go there by myself i always feel uncomfortable and like the baristas dont like me, whereas when im with my sister or other family the baristas are nice & make me feel welcomed to be there
and im just kind of looking at yelp bc im bored and turns out theres distinct shifts where the baristas are either rude (like the ones i meet alone) or nice (the ones i meet when im with people). and i realized its because the rude ones are in the morning when i tend to go alone, and the nice one works in the afternoon when im with other people
smh now i guess i should just plan to go during the afternoon
