Paul is a half Latino, half Caucasian teen. He's 17 years old. He has black hair that is usually pulled up in either a bun or a ponytail, depending on the day. He has brown eyes. He's an avarage hight, standing at 5'7. He's a pretty quiet kid and doesn't really talk, not because he's shy but because he has nothing to say most of the time. He's been put through foster home after foster home when his dad got time in jail. He's pretty bitter about people not being there for him, so it's hard for him to form attachments easily.

Keith is a popular basketball player known by most of the school. He has pretty blond-red hair and green eyes. You'd think the girls would like him, fight over him really, but there are actually few cases of that. They all see him as an older sister of sorts. Despite being a guy he is knowledgeable in many things a girl may like like hair, as an example. He is popular with the guys as well considering his sports ability. So despite being liked by everyone, he doesn't really have what it takes to get someone to have a crush on him. He's simply liked, not loved.

Sure. Sorry for the poof, we went boating. I'm only going to be on for maybe a couple replies tho.) A loud alarm blared through Keiths room as the clock hit 5. Groaning he peeled his face from his pillow and dragged himself from the warm blankets. Early morning practice was brutal. Yawning, he changed into his gym outfit and brushed his hair and teeth. His parents and sister were not awake. They didn't sacrifice sleep to see him off. He walked outside and shivered slightly at the bite of cold morning air. Keith stretched for a moment before starting down the sidewalk at a slow jog. He lived in walking distance and it was a good warm up before practice.

Paul was walking towards the school, holding a peice of paper tightly in his hand. It was the stuff his foster parent had given him for regestration. He had to be there early, but Paul didn't see how it could take that long to get stuff in order. Probably paperwork. He yawned, raising his arm to cover his mouth. He doubted that anyone else was out here, and so was letting his mind wander a bit.

Rounding a corner he nearly bumped into someone. Jumping to the side he spun so he was facing the person "Oh, sorry!" he jogged in place for a moment, looking at them with narrowed eyes "I don't think i've ever seen you around here. What's your name?" he knew almost everyone at school, it was rare that he found someone he didn't know. And the only people awake at this time would be going to school.

Paul looked at the guy who bumped into him with wide eyes. "I'm Paul. I just moved here." He shoved the piece of paper in his hoodie pocket. He had intended on staying low for the rest of the school year, but looks like that was gone. The guy seemed like he would play sports and was built with muscle on him. It must've looked odd, consedering they looked like polar oppisites.

"Ahh makes sense that I don't know you." Keith grinned, "Do you need any help finding your way around? I'm moving this early 'cause I have morning practice, but it doesn't start for a while. And it must be hard since your new." he wasn't going to force the new kid to accept his help. Just if he wanted it. He had to pass the main office to get to the gym so he'd be heading that way anyways.

Keith flashed Paul a grin "That's fun! I've never really travelled that much, so it's cool to here about where other people come from." they made it to the front gates of the school and Keith pushed open the door, pausing to make sure Paul held it open as well before he moved to the second set of doors. They were glass, most of the building was. There was a long glass hallways that connected the two main buildings. On the right you had the main office, gym, and cafeteria. And the left housed most of the classrooms. There as a third building as well for the arts classes. He walked through the hallway and pointed to the main office window "You'll have to go there and talk with them." he smiled "Good luck!"

"Thanks." Paul said, entering through the doors without a look back. Once he got everything settled, he walked back outside and thought for a moment. Keith had said he had practice, so maybe the majority of people were in the gym. He didn't really want to draw any attention from the teachers so he decided he would try to go there. Being with another person would draw less attention to himself with at least one person acting like a friend instead of the typical new kid look. He held his head high as he walked, trying to act like he knew what he was doing. He hesitated once he got there, and was akwardly stood near the door.
