Welcome to --
Illumeclan
A bright light suddenly lit up the sparse trees, sending a rainbow glow over the whole valley. A jet black she-cat with fern green eyes and a pure white tom with a chilling blue gaze sat side by side, their focus locked on a huge crystal which lay in front of them. "Onyx, Quartz," A deep, rumbling voice sounded from the crystal, and a large tom appeared. His pelt was a deep crimson and glowed like the evening sun, and his eyes a shining ruby shade. Next to him three she-cats appeared, all glowing like him, but one was a beautiful, royal purple with a light violet gaze, next to her a she-cat the colour of new-leaf grass scanned the valley with her forest green eyes, the third she-cat was the blue of the high-sun sky with eyes the colour of a late evening. Two more toms stood on the left, one a dandelion yellow with piercing golden eyes, the other an orange shade with eyes of bright amber.
The red tom continued and the cats next to him stared at the two sitting before them. "Greetings." He purred. "It was foreseen you would come. The other six gifts have been given, and you have come for the seventh." He stepped forward and lifted his head to the sky. "With the powers of the sun, moon and stars in my paws, I hereby declare Onyx and Quartz worthy of the gift I am about to bestow." He lowered his head and looked at Onyx. "Onyx, do you swear to use this gift only for good, and to do your best to ensure your offspring and future generations do the same?"
The black she-cat dipped her head. "I do."
Quartz was asked the same question and when the white tom had completed his vow, the six cats all stood in a row and twisted their tails together while the red tom completed his speech. "Then as I, Crrimson, controller of one of the six gifts of the rainbow, stand here with Ryver, Forrest, Lavvender, Vermillion and Golde and give to you both a gift, a power and a strength that will stay with you until the time of your death, and will continue on through future generations. I give you the power of light."
Illumeclan lives up to it's name. The cat's pelts glow, all in different colours. When a kit is born, the colours show faintly, gradually brightening until they are twelve moons of age, when their glow is brightest, then it slowly dims until they die, in which it disappears completely. When a cat becomes leader, their glow will become as bright as it was at twelve moons, and with every life lost it will get a tiny bit darker until they lose their ninth life. If a cat's glow doesn't show by the age of twelve moons, the clan will be forced to throw them out, as the ancient rules require. Illumeclan worship and look up to the six gods, Crrimson, the red tom-cat, Ryver, the blue she-cat, Forrest, the green she-cat, Lavvender, the purple she-cat, Vermillion, the orange tom-cat and Golde, the yellow tom-cat. They believe that when a cat dies, they go to join the gods, if their heart is worthy, and they will live with them in Starclan. Illumeclan has one of the six gifts; light. This is what gives them their glow, and medicine cats and leaders are able to use small amounts of light magic. The other five have yet to be discovered...

✩ Activity; You must be on at LEAST two/three times a week, I may stretch this limit but only upon occasion. If you are inactive for longer than that and I get no warning, I will have to delete you. I will PM you your character forms so you don't lose them and may rejoin, but I will only let you off with inactivity TWICE, no more. On the third time you will be deleted from the roleplay, and I WILL NOT allow you to rejoin, and neither will my moderators. In order to have a higher ranked character I would prefer you to be on at least four times a week, and when I say 'on', I mean actually roleplaying, no just 'HI I'M HERE' and then boom you're gone. I also require you to be active if you are in a plot! We need to keep things moving! Just think of the clan as one big machine, a mass of gears; if one gear stops, that will cause others to stop until the machine stops completely.
✩ PG 13; The PG 13 rule applies to all aspects of RP, gore, romance, birthing, battles, words, descriptions and names. Keep it all appropriate, and only use cat-speak swearwords (Mouse brain, fox dung, mouse dung etc). This also applies to chatting out of roleplay; no swearing, name-calling, or just being plain disrespectful. Also, if you see someone (Even if it's one of my mods, in fact, ESPECIALLY if it's one of my mods!) being rude in any way (This doesn't include friendly teasing) immediately PM and inform me of the incident, and send me a screenshot if you can.
✩ Literacy; Please be literate! I don't require a whole novel, but try have at least four lines. If you're having serious writers block (Trust me, I have suffered it many times before) inform the person/s you are roleplaying with that you are having trouble writing, so hopefully they can be more literate and keep the roleplay moving.
✩ Realism; Keep it realistic. Seriously. The only unrealistic thing you can do with your cats is have their glow, which can be any colour in the rainbow (Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) or variations of those colours (Light green, dark green, crimson, orangey red, goldish, bright yellow, dark blue, neon blue, royal purple, violet etc, but only one colour per cat). Your cats cannot have wings or rainbow eyes or hair falling over their face or wear a cape or... Think Starkit, pretty much. No Starkits here thank you. And let your cats have flaws! I'm planning on an insane cat that is secretly gathering a group of rogues and trying to destroy the clan at some point in the roleplay, and you have to admit, that's pretty flawed. Stubborn, mentally ill, evil, all flaws are welcome! No-one is perfect!
✩ Limits; There are limits here! I won't put a limit on the amount of characters you have because I know some people can roleplay six cats at a time and have ten lines of roleplay for each one, but make sure you roleplay with each character at least once a week. If I notice you haven't, I will remind you about it and you can find someone to roleplay with and interact with that character. If you do this continuously (Especially if your character is high ranked) I will ask you to delete a character, preferably that character, so we won't have cat cluttering up the clan and doing nothing. While we're on the topic of characters I would like to say that if you have one high-ranked character, I won't let you have another one. I do this just because I want to give lots of people a chance to have some time in the spotlight, and not just have it focused on one person. I'm also not going to say 'Keep genders even' because in the real world it isn't like that, but try keep it two she-cats for one tom, or vice-versa, don't have forty she-cats and a tom-kit, because that kind of stuff is really frustrating.
✩ LGBT; I'm not against this, but I'm afraid I won't allow it; if it was a human roleplay I would, but because it's cats it makes some people feel rather uncomfortable, just because it seems to go against cat's natural instincts, and personally I don't think they would know about that kind of stuff, or get those sort of feelings. No offence intended, I'm LGBT+ myself! I'm just trying to keep it as real as possible, and I don't want anyone feeling uncomfortable.
✩ Time; Just like in the real world, time will pass. Kits will grow, apprentices become warriors, warriors become elders, elders become Starclan. You can't have your cat be 3 moons for 6 months. A moon will pass every month, and I will do my best to keep updating characters ages.
✩ Copyright; Please don't copy this roleplay! I spent a lot of time searching for a layout (See the bottom for credits) and creating this clan. I don't want to have all that ruined by going to the roleplay board and seeing a second Illumeclan! I just really wanted to say this because I have seen a lot of copied clans and to be honest, right now I don't think I can trust anyone not to copy without putting a warning. If you copy, I will find you, and I'm not paying your hospital bills.
✩ Enjoyment; Have fun! This roleplay was created for entertainment, as all roleplays are, so I want everyone to enjoy their time in Illumeclan! Follow the rules and everything will go smoothly and we can all have a great time. If you have any complaints, questions, or just want to discuss the RP, feel free to message me and I'll do my best to help
I will nominate moderators when I wish to, the most active, responsible, trustworthy and more than likely people I know/have roleplayed with before will get this role. This position is for accepting members when I'm gone, and if I'm going to be inactive for a long time, roleplay my characters to keep the plot moving along. There are only five moderator spots and when I think a moderator unfit for the position, I can easily remove them and nominate someone else in their place!

The gods of Illumeclan are six cats, three she-cats and three toms, each one a colour from the rainbow. There is red, orange, yellow, green blue and purple, and they gave Illumeclan their glow.
Crrimson; The god of plenty, making sure the clan doesn't starve. Ruler of the mountains. He gives strength and courage. Cats with a red glow are often associated with strong, brave warriors. Similar to orange and yellow glows.
Vermillion; The god of hunting, making sure prey is always there. Ruler of the moors. He gives swiftness and speed. Cats with an orange glow are often associated with quick runners and free spirits. Similar to red and yellow glows.
Golde; The god of the sun, making sure it always rises. Ruler of the plains and deserts. He gives cleverness and intelligence. Cats with a yellow glow are often associated with smart cats that can outsmart their opponents. Similar to red and orange glows.
Forrest; The goddess of plants, making sure they never die. Rules of the woods and trees. She gives stealth and agility. Cats with a green glow are often associated with sneaky, flexible hunters and warriors. Similar to blue and purple glows.
Ryver; The goddess of water, making sure it never dries. Ruler of rivers and lakes. She gives tranquility and calm. Cats with a blue glow are often associated with quiet, thoughtful cats, but like any peaceful stream, can turn into a raging river. Similar to green and purple glows.
Lavvender; The goddess of life, making sure it prospers. Ruler of small animals. She gives love and warmth. Cats with a purple glow are often associated with sweet, friendly cats, usually medicine cats. Similar to green and blue glows.
Moors - Covered with sparse coniferous, the moors are a good place for any type of prey. Small lakes and streams cross through the trees, and hold plenty of fish. A large deciduous forest lies next to the Twolegplace, and squirrels, chipmunks and other small rodents reside below its thick canopy of leaves which descend and create a crackly carpet in Leafbare.
Marsh - On the opposite side of the Thunderpath, the marsh holds many dangers and bands of rogues are seen there quite a bit, but prey is plentiful, as well as herbs. Apprentices are sometimes taken there to learn how to stalk and tread lightly on the boggy ground. Pines surround the edges and beyond that is the unknown.
Twolegplace - This group of buildings ranging from run-down barns on the edges to a few large mansions in the center sits at the very top of the territory. Strays are common, and once a year a group of scientists come and stay for a while, searching for the luminescent cats they have been told about. During this period of time Illumeclan goes into hiding, living at the StarPool until the Scientists are gone
. Occasionally a cat will get captured, and will never be seen again, but thankfully the gods watch over Illumeclan and a cat is only captured once in a blue moon.
Twoleg Animal Place - This is a farm where sheep, cattle, a few horses and other animals are kept. This area has been fenced off from the moor at the edge of the Twolegplace, but sometimes the animals are let out on the moor to graze on its luscious grass. Beware of these animals when hunting, as they can easily trample a cat into a feline pancake.
Thunderpath - The black asphalt slices along the edge of the moor, cutting through the Twolegplace and separating the marsh from the moor. This presents a problem to medicine cats, as the marsh is the best place to find herbs, and about one cat every year is lost in one of these ventures.
Icyfur Mountains - These mountains are well-named. Close to the tops they are freezing, so cold they will turn a cats pelt into spikes of ice, which take a long time to melt. They were also christened this because a rogue that had joined the clan, gained the name Flickerfur, and began to corrupt it from the inside, was banished to the mountains. Almost six moons later a hunting party found his body, frozen solid.
River of Plenty - This large body of water runs along the base of the mountain range, twisting between the foothills. It splits into three different streams not too far from the camp, one leading out into the marsh, going underneath a bridge on the Thunderpath, the middle one goes to the Twolegplace, slowly transforming into a dirty, sluggish river where rats, pidgeons and strays reside, picking stray bits of foot from the dirty waters. The third and last stream, closest to the mountains, leads to a cave in the ground, where it cascades into the Star Pool.
Star Pool - This is where cats go to communicate with Starclan, and sometimes even the gods. Medicine cat, leader and 'Clan acceptance' (When the clan accepts a rogue into its ranks, and the rogue gains its glow from Starclan. Very rare) ceremonies are held here. The crystal which the clan founders, Onyx and Quartz discovered, sits in the center of the pool, the tip poking out of the surface in the exact middle. Gems line the walls and floor of the cave, as well as the pool, and are scattered over the jagged crystal and the rock ledges that line the walls. In order to speak with Starclan, a cat must swim to the tip of the crystal and lie on top of it, out of the water completely. This is why it recommended apprentices learn to swim, for the leader and medicine cat must do this in order to gain their title.
Camp -
The camp is positioned next to a small cliff at the edge of the mountains, with the leader's den positioned about twelve feet up, with small ledges in the position of steps leading to the bottom. The medicine cat den is at the very bottom, hidden by clusters of brambles and ferns. The medicine cat herb store is just above, with three ledges for cats to use to get up. Two nests sit by the entrance of the den, and the den curves off to the right leading to a third, in which sick or injured cat can rest and be treated. The warriors den is by the entrance to the camp, which is a shady archway covered with ferns and brambles. The den is a curved dome of undergrowth, with nests covering the back half of the nest, and a clear sitting space at the front. The elders den and the apprentices den are next to each other, both hollows in the ground with a wall of vines in between and over top. The side of the apprentice den that isn't against the elders den is a small wall of stones, carefully positioned and sealed with mud, then padded with moss. The elders den has ferns on the opposite side, and the prey pile is next to that in a small, concealed place amongst the vines and undergrowth. The nursery is positioned next to the cliff, half cavem half den. Ferns and brambles padded with moss and twisted with vines cover one half, while the other half is a large indent in the rock face which is often used for sheltering weak kits and queens in bad weather. Pines and evergreens surround the camp, one particularly large one with three boulders at the bottom is positioned next to the leader's den, and is used for clan meetings and announcements.

Non-herbal treatments
1. Gently nipping a cat's spine or poking it hard with a claw tests to see if the backbone is broken. If the subject does not feel the nip or poke, then the spine is broken. Many times a medicine cat will have to poke/nip the subject multiple times in different places to find the break.
2. Licking a cat's fur can help clean wounds, comfort/calm down a shocked or grieving cat, and warm a cat who has become very cold. (Lick the cat's fur the wrong way to do this. The last method is most often used on kits.)
3. Soaking moss in water and holding the dripping moss before a sick, injured or weak cat makes it easier for them to drink. Soaked moss can also be used to cool feverish cats.
4. Rosemary or mint can be used to lighten the death-scent of a dead cat before burial.
5. Using nectar, honey or mouse blood can make herbs sweeter and more appealing to cats--therefore making it easier to take the medicine.
6. Holding a swelling wound in cold water takes down swelling. Cats can also soothe scraped pads by soaking them in water.
7. A cat with weak or hurting muscles/bone can take part in water therapy. Have them wade in water that is not too deep or shallow, and eventually they'll get stronger.
8. Having a sick cat wail or yowl keeps their lungs and chest clear of mucus.
Above Ground Combat Moves
Sky-Crusher- Landing with all four feet on top of an opponent, flattening them like a leaf!
Flick-Over- Landing with front paws outstretched to sweep the opponent off his feet and roll him into his back.
The Kick- Kicking down hard as a Warrior nears the ground, then using momentum from landing to spring away before the opponent can retaliate!
The Slice- Dropping down with claws unsheathed for maximum injury!
Branch Swing- Holding onto a branch with front claws and swinging the hind legs into the opponent's face.
Reverse Branch Swing- Holding on to the branch with the hind claws and striking with the front legs through the swing while claws are unsheathed.
Trunk Spring- Sliding down a tree trunk and springing off at head height, using the hind legs to push off and clearing opponents (Good if tree is surrounded).
The Reverse Climb- Climbing backwards up the trunk of a tree as the opponent advances to gain advantage of height; Often followed by Trunk Spring.
Water Combat Moves
Double-Front Paw Slap-Down- Slam both front paws down onto the surface of the water. Splashes water into the face of the enemy! Good for close combat.
Underwater Leg Sweep (Front or Hind)- The opponent will not see it coming under the water's surface so he won't have the chance to brace himself before losing his balance.
Push-Down and Release- Almost all cats panic if they are submerged, while others know how to hold their breath underwater. This move can be used to secure a decisive victory, because it is most likely to make the opponent surrender!
Underwater Clinch- Uses a Warrior’s weight to hold the opponent below the surface, with a firm grip that enables the Warrior to bring his enemy sputtering back to the surface before forcing him under again!
Tail Splash- Temporarily blinds the opponent by flicking water into his eyes.
Underwater Push-Off- Crouching and erupting out of the water and into the opponent, using surprise and impact to knock him off balance!
Rushpaw Splash- Using the noise of water splashed at a distance to create a decoy, leaving opportunity for a surprise attack!
Other Combat Moves
Back kick- Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent’s distance from you carefully; then lash out with your back legs, taking your weight on your front paws.
Belly rake- A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws across soft flesh of opponent’s belly. If you’re pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back in control.
Front paw blow- Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent’s head. Claws sheathed.
Front paw strike- Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the body or face of your opponent. Claws unsheathed.
Killing bite- A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort.
Leap-and-hold- Ideal for a small cat facing a large opponent. Spring onto opponent’s back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of your opponent’s paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of Apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous Warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll countermove, and try to jump free before you get squashed.
Drop-and-roll- Used as a countermove against leap-and-hold. Drop to your stomach and roll in an attempt to squash your opponent under your weight and escape their grasp.
Partner fighting- Warriors who have trained and fought together will often instinctively fall into a paired defensive position, each protecting the other’s back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers.
Play dead- Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes his grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in an attacking position.
Scruff shake- Secure a strong teeth grip on the scruff of your opponent’s neck; then shake violently until he or she is too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, which are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them.
Teeth grip- Target your opponent’s extremities – the legs, tail, scruff, or ears – and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight.
Upright lock- Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring full weight down on opponent. If opponent does same, wrestle and flip him under you. This move makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so requires great strength and speed.
Hunting Moves -
Land Hunting Moves
Leap-and-Slam- After stalking your prey, leap explosively out of your hiding place and slam your front paws down on your prey. Ofen instant kill with smaller animals.
Leap-and-nip- When your quarry is close enough, jump out and nip it's spine. Effective only on smaller animals.
Partner chase- Have a partner hiding in the bushes and chase prey towards them, they can then use leap and slam or leap and nip to dispatch of your prey.
Drop-and-claw- Use this on larger animals. Jump down from a high place and land on their back, clawing furiously. If you're fast enough, you can easily maim them so they cannot escape. This can also be used as a move against predators.
Water Hunting Moves
Slide-and-flip- Used to catch fish while still on the shore. Crouch by the edge of the water and wait until a fish swims next to the banks, then slowly slide your paw under the fish's belly and flip it out onto the bank.
Dive-and-bite- For more experienced swimmers. Dive under the water and swim quickly towards your prey, lunge and clamp your jaws down on it's back, then bring it to the surface.
Pounce-and-dive- Used to gain depth, often followed by Dive-and-bite. Leap from a high point on the bank and dive into the water, the higher the bank, the deeper you get.
HD=Highly Dangerous, D=Dangerous, M=Mediocre, E=Easy
Bears - HD - Rare - Dangerous to all cats, can take all of leaders lives with one paw swipe. Large group of strong cats needed to drive it away.
Wolves - HD - Uncommon - Hunt in packs. Can take over a whole clan easily. Clans need to band together to drive away these canines.
Cougars - HD - Rare - Almost as dangerous as bears. Stealth predator. Fast and agile, can kill up to four cats at a time. Best avoided, hard to drive out.
Badgers - D - Average - A small group can kill these creatures. Dangerous to apprentices, kits and new warriors. Extremely strong, but rely mainly on brute strength. Often band together in groups of four or five.
Foxes - D - Common - Often live alone or in pairs, especially dangerous when protecting their offspring. Three or more cats needed to get rid of. Extremely intelligent, clever and sly.
Hawks - D - Common - Dangerous to kits and apprentices, smaller ones can be taken down. Best avoided. Easier to kill than falcons. Always return, no matter how many times they are driven off.
Falcons - D - Average - Dangerous to all cats. Almost never killed, can carry a full grown cat off in it's talons. Once again, best avoided. Five or more cats needed to get rid of these birds.
Eagles - HD - Rare - Dangerous to everything. Ten or more cats needed to even slightly scare it. Whole clan needed to drive it off permanently.
Dogs - E - Average - Often accompanied by Twolegs. Best avoided. Only three cats needed to scare off. Vary in size. Very dangerous if in packs of three or more, but can easily be persuaded to stay off clan territory.
Rogues - D - Uncommon - Extremely dangerous if in large groups, dangerous to all cats. Live by no code but their own. Large group of warriors needed to warn off.
Twolegs - E - Average - Easily avoided due to terrible sense of smell, hearing and eyesight. Avoid at all costs. Often come with nets and cages, hunting for glowing cats to sell to zoos.
Prey -
HD=High Difficulty, D=Difficult, N=Normal, S=Simple.
Hares - D - Average - Faster and larger than rabbits, also more intelligent. Needs a reasonably experienced hunter with lots of speed to take down.
Rabbits - N - Very common - Apprentices may have a hard time catching a rabbit, but these creatures are rather unitelligent and can be easily chased into a cat's paws.
Squirrels - N - Average - Expert tree-climbers are needed to catch this prey, if caught on the ground they are a lot easier to chase. Can be caught with only one cat.
Voles - D - Rare - Due to this small rodent spending a lot of time underground, tunnelers are often needed to catch them. Can easily be caught with a single cat.
Mice - S - Very common - Even the youngest kits can easily catch this creature.
Sparrows - S - Very common - Similar to the mouse, but more tree-climbing skills needed.
Thrushes - N - Average - Two cats will find it easier than one, easier caught if stalked.
Trout - N - Uncommon - Most cats can easily catch this fish, except for those with aquaphobia. Speedy swimmers will be able to catch it without having to use 'slide and flip'.
Eels - HD - Rare - Only the best swimmers will be able to catch this creature; it swims close to the bottom of streams and lakes, where the current is slowest. Will actually bite cats, but very rarely.
Minnows - S - Common - Easy to catch, swim in small schoals.
Chipmunks -N - Uncommon - Often hang around the Twoleg place, good stalking training for apprentices.

✩ An average sized tom with a long tail and large canines. His pelt is a handsome orange tabby with hints of gold, and his belly, toes, chest, muzzle and ears are a dark, reddish orange. His glow mimic the stripes on his pelt, standing out in a beautiful golden shade, similarly coloured to the flecks in his dark green eyes. Sparkstar is friendly and welcoming, and would never leave a cat in danger. He is extremely loyal and courageous, but can be stern and hard when he wants to. ✩ With light brown fur with dark brown dapples and dark green eyes, Sprucepelt lives up to his name. Sprucepelt has a muscular frame, that improves his fighting skill as he has the advantage of strength and weight. Sprucepelt can be identified by his dark green eyes or the scar, that goes vertically across one of his eyes. Though lucky enough not to be blinded, Sprucepelt can't see as well through that eye. Sprucepelt is quite the opposite of greedy, traitorous, or blinded by grief. He's kind, joyful, and full of comments. He has a kind sense of humor to him, and stays clear of skirmishes with other cats. This being said, he rarely has any enemies within the clan.

✩ A silver she-cat with a soft black undercoat. She has a white patch on her chest with jagged edges and other white shards surrounding it, making it look like shattered glass, or a shattered heart, hence her name. Her tail is twisted at an awkward angle halfway up, broken when she was a kit and a group of foxes attacked the camp. Shatterheart has a sort of sad air around her, although she does her best to hide it and make it seem like everything is alright. She is very quiet and shy, like her sister Slashpelt, but she lacks the sarcasm and stubbornness. Her glow covers her back in a light amber, the same colour as her eyes. The tip of hair tail and her paws are also painted, and a single stripe runs down her muzzle.
✩ Apprentice: N/A
✩ Slashpelt has a bluish grey pelt, showing her russian blue bloodlines, although her mother was a calico and her father silver with a brown undercoat, and none of her family have, or had, her icy blue eyes that seem to hold all the secrets in the world but stubbornly refuse to show them. Her whole pelt is covered in scars from the fox attack that killed her parents and maimed her sister. Despite the fact she looks cold and hard, Slashpelt is very gentle and kind with kits, and humorous and happy with her friends, but she does have a side that no-one wants to mess with. She tend to be stubborn and sarcastic and really peeve people off, and she doesn't bother to apologize. A bright neon blue copies the pattern of her scars and she has the same stripe as her sister on her face.
✩ Apprentice: N/A
✩ Ripplefur's pelt is dark brown with black, cream and grey stripes running along his back, tail and down his legs. His eyes are a clear blue, like the sky at midday, and reflect the world around him like two blue pools. Ripplefur is quiet, a little shy and prefers to be by himself or just with his family, but when he needs to he can put on a brave face and go to social gatherings without being too uncomfortable. He likes swimming and running, and is one of the few in the clan who can outrun a hare. He has bands of reddish orange around his legs and tail, and when he swims at night they light up the water.
✩ Apprentice:
✩ A long-legged red Somali she-cat with a black nose and a white muzzle. She has long fur but her tail is how she is usually identified. It is bushy starting at the middle to the tip. The tip of the tail has darker fur that makes it look like a dark brown or a light black color. FoxLeap can be a bit stubborn and opinionated but she means well and is fiercely loyal. Really afraid of water. She was a loner at a young age but the clan brought her in and gave her a home. She's happy where she is.
✩ Apprentice: Nightpaw
✩ Cinderfall is a creamy white she-cat with milk chocolate mask-like marking on her face. With white surrounding her eyelids and on her ears and on the bridge of her nose. She also has a large white spot on her head. Her legs are the same color as her facial markings, along with her long feathery tail, the tips of her paws are a milky white. Her soft feathery pelt gives off a lavender glow is only around the creamy white fur. The milk chocolate parts of her fur are untouched. that often times gives off comfort to her while being alone in the dark. Cinderfall's eyes are a vibrant green that gives off the sense of happiness and wonder. Cinderfall is kind, full of joy, also a bit ditsy and clumsy. She maybe 19 moons old but she still acts like an apprentice at times. She still holds onto the innocence and has yet to face the dangers outside that lurk about. Cinderfall is terrified of the dark and even with her glow she is still nervous.
✩ Apprentice:
✩ Meet Frostfeather. She is quite an an attractive creature to behold. Oh, but if only her personality could fit her elegant looks. Her moderately compact body, erect ears, and bushy tail give hints of her Siberian heritage. Her characteristic gait is smooth and seemingly effortless; every step is planned out meticulously. Her eyes are almond-shaped, set a bit obliquely. The coat of this feline is as pure as white snow, with silvery-gray covering her back, forehead, and ears. Her luminesence is a light cyan color, found at her ear tips and paws. Her eyes are an enchanting blue. With an inflamed ego and plenty of fame, Frostfeather is quite the cat — she is the perfect example of a noblewoman. She is quite afraid to get dirty and always keeps her fur squeaky clean. Even if a single strand is out of place, she will freak. Frostfeather is…difficult to get along with with. She may look fetching and friendly, but, all actuality…she is very rude and snooty. She knows she's pretty, and will go out of her way to flaunt it. She's a huge heartbreaker, moving from one male to the next, and not seeming to care about his feelings. She loves to toy with their emotions and then crush them like bugs under her paws. Egocentric and dramatic, she tends to complain a lot about the tiniest, trivial things that barely have significance. She is quite…back-sassy and stubborn, her words can turn quite icy, and she doesn't care about the feelings of others. She also doesn't care about being punished or reprimanded; thinking everything should go her way, whether others like it or not. Everything needs to be in her favor because she is a queen and should always get her way. She wants only the luxuries in life, and hates having things that are lower in class. Even though she seems like a heartless snob, Frostfeather has a softer side she doesn't show often. If you have the patience and tolerance to crack open her thick shell, you'll find a somewhat understanding cat. She usually displays this side a bit awkwardly, as being "kind" isn't something that comes naturally to her.
✩ Apprentice:
✩ Impulsive, brave, and reckless. Yep...that's young Shrikestorm for you. This tom is a very sleek, lithe masculine. He has a slim build that was specifically designed for running, with a slender frame. Like the typical Siamese, he is long-limbed, with surprisingly powerful shoulders and sturdy legs. Shrikestorm's fur is soft, with fine hairs, complete with a snake-like, tapering tail. This tom has a beige fur color, infused with light gray. Having the signature Siamese markings, Shrikestorm has milk chocolate points that fade out as they brush throughout his tail, ears, paws, and face. If you look exceedingly close, you can see barely noticeable tabby markings ringing around his paws. He has a bright green glow around his paws, highlighting his points. His left eye is an icy blue, but his right is actually a darker blue, a two-clawed scar over it. Shrikestorm is a hotheaded, impulsive, and arrogant young warrior who believes himself to be superior over everyone. He thinks of most others as incompetent, often regarding them with his line: "Idiots!" or "Imbeciles!" - enemy or not. He is very independent, wanting to do things on his own, usually paying no heed to his peers' advice. Despite his arrogant nature, he is actually quite a clever cat, capable of turning the tides of battle with his plots. He values his wits, personal ego, and power; a contrast to his brash tone. Though he puts up a tough front, he appreciates it when others praise him. His way of showing it, however, isn't exactly the nicest, as he may respond by yelling an insult to his listener or treating them coldly. Though in his lust for power and respect blinds him to all else, he sincerely cares for the future of IllumeClan, and is willing to bow down to others if it means keeping his ambitions alive. Sometimes, he tends to get emotional and depressive, as the death of his father, Pinefur, is something that stuck with him since his rise to warriorship.

✩ Being a young warrior, Jaycall is obviously not the largest warrior around. His shaggy black fur makes him look quite intimidating and you almost forget about his smaller size. His tail is a very delicate-coloured gray, and so is his entire face. He has twinkling light blue eyes, and his entire body glows an icy, pale blue, but slightly faintly. Jaycall is loud, boisterous, and loves to talk. He is very impulsive and never thinks before acting. Everyone knows how much he gets into trouble and brags about his adventures out of camp or his battle moves, but they just smile at the crazy tom and laugh at his antics. He is surprisingly flirty too, always trying to get a mate or make some she-cat friends. It's pretty easy for him, considering he is an excellent fighter and hunter. Underneath the seemingly brave personality he can be a coward though, sometimes thinking about himself more than about others. Jaycall was born in the clan and has a history of being a spoiled and mischievous kit.
✩ Apprentice:
✩ A fully black tom with dark green eyes that look like emeralds with tiny golden flecks spread around the iris. His paw pads, the inside of his ears, the skin around his eyes and his nose are black, except for a tiny pink spot in the center of his right hind paw. Nightpaw is very grumpy at times, but he always enjoys a good joke and a play fight, and he loves hunting rabbits into their burrows. His fur is quite short, which makes it easy to groom and clean out dirt after he has been burrowing. His glow rests on his shoulder; a deep fern green in the shape of a crescent moon. It shows only faintly, but it is visible.

✩ Dark, brownish red patches cover Cherrytuft's creamy pelt, along with a few white dapples on her back, tail, neck and head. Her eyes are a silvery shade with a scar slicing past her left eye, narrowly missing her eye and almost blinding her. Her fur is very fluffy, although her frame is small, and when she gets wet her fur flattens and reveals her lithe build. Cherrytuft knows a lot about herbs, not as much as a medicine cat but enough to heal small wounds. She spends a lot of her time in the medicine cat den, learning about various herbs and their uses. Her glow is a set of light red streaks that run along her back, staring from her ears and stopping at the base of her tail.
✩ Kits: Rufflekit, Swirlkit, Tempestkit.
✩
A white base coat with cream dapples and tear markings in her face. Her slender frame allows herself to be agile and faster, all the while she's elegant as she does so. Her eyes are a soft denim blue, and rarely give an intimidating look. The ridge along her back is outlined with a black stripe, that goes from the top of her head and ears, to where the tip of the tail is. Though quite curious and energetic, Fawnwhisker prefers to spend her time alone, whether or not she would be glad to have company. Her quiet personality is all part of her past, the past that she refuses to dwell on. Only her closest friends and clanmates truly know her personality, though to others, she's shy but kind.

✩ Rufflekit is a dark brown tabby tom with a thick mane around his neck. His back is covered in light brown dapples and his paws, chest, belly and throat are white. The shade of his eyes is a mixture of amber, gold and green, giving them a mysterious look and a beautiful sparkle when he laughs. Rufflekit is more like his father than anything else, reserved, polite, peaceful and kind, and rather against fighting. He wants to grow up and be leader, and lead the clan in a tranquil life until the end of his days. A single yellow spot shaped like a leaf rests on the inside of his front left leg, almost completely invisible.
✩ Parents: Ripplefur, Cherrytuft.
✩ Swirlkit has a pelt like Tempestkit's, but light brown with black and darker brown swirls. Her ears, muzzle and the tip of her tail are black, and a raindrop shape surrounds her claws at the very tips of her toes. Swirlkit is bouncy, welcoming, friendly and loves being with others. She can talk the tail off a fox and seems to never run out of words. She tends to be a bit arrogant and vain at times, but other than that (And the fact she'll talk your ears off) she's a lovable little cat. A bright, neon purple spot sits on her right cheek and her left flank.
✩ Parents: Ripplefur, Cherrytuft.
✩ A small white tom-kit with black, light grey and dark grey swirls covering his body, resembling the pattern of the wind. His eyes are a dark teal and they would look mysterious if he didn't constantly have his jaw hanging open in surprise about every little thing anyone says. He is extremely curious and brave, but inclined to rush things along and get into trouble, and he's a bit of a klutz. A dark teal, the same shade as his eyes, lights up in small stripes on top of his paws.

✩ Skye has a pelt like her name; pitch black with a bluish sheen, and white flecks and spots scattered all over, resembling a midnight sky. Her eyes are similar; a dark purplish blue with silver flecks that seem to stare into your soul and know all your secrets before you know them yourself. Latesky can be very outgoing and sweet when she wants to, and is a good friend and loyal companion, but sometimes she seems to shrink into herself and become silent and reserved, although her eyes always show the intelligence within. She was previously part of the clan and it had only been a moon after she gained her warrior name, Latesky, that she decided to leave and explore the world beyond. She still hangs around the clan camp and lives in clan territory, but Sparkstar gave special orders that she was to be left alone, even though some cats disagree with this and still hassle her, and some unknowing apprentices do, she doesn't mind. Her fluorescence is a dark blue with a slight hint of purple, like her eyes, and has highlighted her ears, tail, paws and muzzle.
✩ Dark red fur with a brown blending and darker tabby stripes, Rowan has a somewhat bulky build to some, and to others, a muscular decent build. Rowan has piercing brown eyes with a somewhat cold appearance to them. As for himself as a whole, cat's could say he's cold and depressed. Though to close cats, its merely just him. As a typical tom, Rowan prefers to be ahead of all of his tasks and looks up at the leader of the neighboring clan with an envious hatred. Rowan has a somewhat edgy demeanor to himself and acts very hostile towards cat's in his business, even cat's that care for him. As difficult as it might seem to get him to listen, Rowan has a soft side for neglected kits and young warriors that remind him of his brother.

✩ A silver she-cat with a white tail-tip, belly, throat, forehead and paws. Her eyes are dark green with amber and gold flecks, and she really is quite beautiful, but her heart is dark. She is cruel, hostile and solitary, unsocial and bloodthirsty, not a cat you want to meet, nor get on the bad side of. Silverfox killed her family in a quest for leadership over Illumeclan, and she didn't regret her decision when finally she became leader by bullying her clanmates, including the medicine cat. She lied about killing her family, so no-one but Starclan knew of her treachery, and they made her pay for it. She was sent to the Dark forest when she died, eventually killed by a brave apprentice and his mentor, and has lived there ever since.
