Does anyone want to do either like a medieval fantasy like game of thrones or eragon type time period or a historical one which could take place like anytime in history really as I don't mind. Ideally would like someone who could rp at least 5 lines in one go as the main reason why I want to do this is to work on my writing and my romance writing and I'd say I'm quite active as I'm normally on for a couple hours each evening. Open to playing either a guy or a girl but would rather a mxf pairing.

That's great so surprised that anyone actually responded to this. Do you want me to come up with plots and would you rather go more down the historical route or the fantasy. As well would you like to rp a boy or a girl.
Sorry if I sound too excited but I've been wanting to do a 1x1 for a while.

-we can work out a plot -I would prefer to go the more historical route but that's up to you -and I would like to play the girl please. I used to rp a lot of guys, but recently I've been out of touch
It's fine I'm like super excited too lol

hey so I see Gumball already responded here, but would you be open to one more? I've been looking for something more laid back recently and I think this would be perfect for that. if not, no worries, it's totally cool.

Cool I also like the historical route more than the more fantasy and I need to work on rping as a guy especially in romance so that's all good. Are there any particular time periods you are especially interested in.

𝘨𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘶𝘯 I'd be more than happy to be doing more than one 1x1. Again as with gumball do you want to do a more historical or fantasy one and would you rather rp as a guy or a girl as I don't mind.

would fantasy be alright with you? and would it be alright if I took the girl? I don't mind playing the guy either, but I'm already playing quite a few in other places so it'd be a nice break for me.

I would like to do something medieval but I'm open for anything really

That sound great considering as I'm doing a more historical one with gumball so it would be different. I was thinking of like a medieval high fantasy type story so would that work but I think elements of the supernatural like werewolves and vampires in a more contemporary setting would be cool and I don't mind taking the guy at all.

@blubberywhales Medieval is cool because that's one of my favourite eras. Do you have any ideas for a plot or do you want me to come up with some though I warn you they may be a little bit cliche.

medieval fantasy is great! I'm totally down for that. do you have any ideas, or would you like me to share some of mine? I have a few hidden away somewhere.

𝘨𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘶𝘯I don't really mind as I feel like my ideas will probably end up being really cliche so if you have any that would be great but don't feel like under any obligation to find some as I can probably come up with something.

@blubberywhales I came up with these but I'm not sure about any of them so if you don't like any of them just say as I think they're all a bit dodgy but yeah here they are.
The Princess and the Prince After having an arranged marriage years ago, the date for the wedding soon approaches and the Bride and Groom haven't even met! So the Prince goes ahead of the wedding party by some weeks to investigate his bride-to-be without her knowing it as he disguises himself as a visiting Lord. Will the princess fall in love with him and how will she react when she finds out that that he isn't who he says he is and is instead the very person she's always resented.
The Princess and her Knight To ensure their kingdom's safety, the King has agreed to an arranged marriage with his daughter and the son of a neighboring kingdom. The people of his kingdom are not terribly thrilled at this new ally, and so the King decides to send his daughter to their neighbors with only one Knight to escort her. The young knight is a close friend to the princess, as the two have been practically raised together since they were ten-years-old or so. What she does not know is that he has been secretly in love with her for years and having to give her away to some other man is the worst thing that has ever happened to him.
The Princess's Knight A young Knight is entrusted with the safety of a Princess, the only thing is that he is a member of a secret plot to overthrow the King. The Princess, quite naive to her Father's dealings, is oblivious to this and only draws closer to the Knight as the Kingdom begins to fall apart. The Knight would have a secret desire for the Princess but he wouldn't show it until it was his time to do so.
The Prince's Assassin A young female assassin is sent to target a Prince/King/Noble, and poses as a chamber maid for him in order to gain his trust and get the job done but will she be able to go through with it when she gets to know him properly and she's the person behind the crown. @blubberywhales

Do you want to make a short form outlining your character or just jump in and role-play them out completely. Open to either but I feel like it might be a bit more useful to have a vague idea of each others characters before we start.

Yeah I can pull out a description of one of my OCs. Would you like personality included? I can do that if you want, or describe her personality through rp

And do you want to rp on this thread or a separate one?

Post by ashrain on Jan 26, 2017 10:18:18 GMT -5
Another thread will probably be less confusing as it'll just be for this and for the character just a really brief description and personality would be great just like a line or so.

Name: Arabella Taylor Description: Thick, crimped black hair frames her heart shaped face, with her bangs sweeping over one of her eyes. Her eyes are two different colors, icy blue and deep brown, and delicately set in their sockets with long dark lashes. Her lips are small, and nose slightly upturned. Her skin is fair, but contrasts with her dark hair. She is about 5'6" in height and has a thin frame Personality: Stubborn, playful, and a tad sarcastic.
Yeah I just typed up something really short for personality lol

Post by ashrain on Jan 26, 2017 10:38:07 GMT -5
Name: Theodore (Theo) Drayton Description: Theo has curly brown hair which he keeps cropped close to his head so you can scarcely see the curls but were he to grow it out he'd have a thick but not unreasonable head of curls. He has hazel eyes which look intrinsically trustworthy which is coupled with a tanned complexion and he stands at roughly 6'2. Theo also would probably be described as looking older than he actually is which is probably due to his height and also from the way he carries himself. Personality: Theo is one of those people who are just genuinely nice and they do it for no point other than to be nice. He's not the type of person who will push themselves into the forefront but will keep his head down and work at something until he's the best at it.

Sounds hot lol. How old is he? Since this is medieval times, most girls would get married young. Like anywhere from 12-17. I'll probably make my girl on the older side of the spectrum and say she's 17

((Probs like 20 I think as I think he's probably a little bit older than her but not significantly so. He's one of my first guys which are actually nice and not just jerks so lol))

most of my guys are jerks so that's understandable
Do you want to make the separate thread or me?

alright, here you go! the first two are mermaid-y plots that are probably a few centuries after the dark ages, but whatever. they're similar enough and I wanted to include them because fantasy pirates are all I've ever wanted imagine the things you could do! pirates with powers! mermaids! marine monsters! sea witches! alright, rant over, here are the plots.
- Muse A is a mermaid, Muse B is a sailor. When they were both young and stupid, Muse B and Muse A’s sister were picked up by a whirlwind romance, much to Muse A’s horror. As she’d warned her sister many times, it didn’t end well. Muse A’s sister wound up dead, accidentally killed by the very boat Muse B sailed on.
Years later, Muse A finds her sister’s jewellery gone. Every last gem and link, missing. Well aware that the gold and pearls are of monetary value to humans she ventures onto land for the first time in years, follows the leads and ends up joining a crew of pirates to take the jewellery back. Only, who does she find as the captain of the ship, if not the man she blames for her sister’s death, Muse B?
- Having a woman on your ship is considered bad luck. Bad luck to the point where women are routinely thrown off ships and left to drown. Only, they never do drown. Instead, they turn into sirens, beautiful women with even more beautiful voices that lure men - particularly sailors - to their deaths in the sea. They seek revenge for a lifetime, drowning the type of men that tried to drown them.
Muse A is such a siren. Muse B is a man she tried to lure into the sea. However, as he was drowning, she realised something. Years ago, he saved her life. And she can't exact her revenge against someone who's already paid his debts to her.
She saves his life, thinking that he wouldn't dare step foot on the shore again. But he does. And the other sirens don't agree with her - he has paid one debt of thousands, not nearly enough to pardon him. So Muse A becomes his guardian angel, watching over him whenever he travels by sea. Muse B, meanwhile, wants nothing but to figure out why the sea is suddenly so tempting, but drawing near seems to always result in a near-death experience.
- Muse A brings death with them wherever they go. They don’t know why, but plants wither at their touch and just the brush of a hand can cause another human being extreme pain. It’s power, sure, but it’s uncontrollable. Despite that, they work at the castle, as a physician of all things. Maybe death has a way of keeping them close, or maybe they’re working to prevent it while they still can.
Muse B is a noble from a neighbouring Kingdom, at the castle to visit. However, they have a secret of their own. They’re undead, and they’re here for help. They can feel themselves fading all over again, so they’re here to ask Muse A for another extension before they are forced to return. The only problem is, Muse A doesn’t seem to know anything about what they can do, or how to achieve it. With their time quickly running out, Muse B needs to figure out a way to jog Muse A’s memory and kickstart their abilities once more, returning them to their place as ambassador to the Underworld. Fail and they will spend eternity wishing they’d accepted death the first time around.
- (not technically medieval, though it could definitely be set in that time period if we wanted it to be. could also work in a modern setting)
Muse A is a demon, and they've spent their long lifetime going from contract to contract, exchanging souls for talent or wisdom. But their current one is a little bit different. When Muse B was born, their mother made an agreement with Muse A. As legal guardian of her child, she was able to enter into binding contracts on their behalf, and this was no different. So, in exchange for Muse B's protection for the rest of their life, she sold her child's soul.
Muse A and Muse B grew up together, Muse B constantly being watched over by Muse A. It isn't until now, many years down the road, that Muse B starts to see that something's up and that maybe Muse A isn't all they say they are. Muse A, meanwhile, is torn. Taking souls has always been easy before, but it turns out that taking the soul of someone you watched grow up, instead of someone you met exactly once, is going to be a little more difficult than expected.
- Muse A is a prince/ss. Three years ago, their kingdom was under attack. The attackers had one demand and promised that if it was met they'd cease fire and retreat. Their demand? The prince/ss. The King agreed, the attacks stopped, and since then, the kingdom's been peaceful. The King has put his every resource into finding his beloved child but has thus far failed. Nobody who's gone out to find the royal child has returned in pieces or not at all. A message was sent after the first knight returned, mangled. The dragon will keep her. So, the King made a declaration. Anyone who finds and brings his child back to him shall never want for anything ever again.
Muse B decides to take him up on this. Maybe they need the money, maybe they want some adventure, maybe it's something else entirely. Either way, they journey to find the prince/ss. They finally arrive, but the dragon they face there isn't one of myth or legend. No, it's the prince/ss, who, after being abandoned by their family, took up sorcery and now stands in the castle once occupied by their attackers (now long dead), wielding the elements as if it were nothing. But Muse B has an edge nobody before them did - they're quite skilled in the field of magic, too. And they're determined to bring Muse A back.
this literally just popped into my head and I love it sooo....?? - muse a and muse b put their powers to use - by working together to assassinate anyone with a reward on their head
