Scarlet clung onto the floating piece of wood for dear life, her claws clinging on and her fur as soaked as the river itself as she and her raft were plunged downstream. To frightened to think, she could only concentrate on survival. The turbulent waters threatened to swallow her and her raft up like a cat swallowing their prey, and from the current seemed to only be getting stronger...
She had not seen her siblings since they were forced into the river. Their own father - who betrayed their mother and left their her for dead many moons ago, had been watching her all this time. When he had learned that she had another tom's kits, he took particular interest in them. Then, just hours ago, he had snatched them up from their nursery while their mother was out hunting. The kits had done nothing wrong - the fault was on their father, who was determined to cause as much misery to his former mate as possible. (Although he never said why... Not to the kits.) He had forced them to the edge of the river, and, aware that their mother would be there any minute (as he could hear her following him), threw them in. And that leads us here...
Scarlet knew she had to get to shore - or at the very least, successfully hold on to the piece of wood until the waters died down.
But they were only getting stronger.
And indeed there was a reason. Shortly ahead, there was a waterfall. Not a large one, but it was still intimidating, especially to something as small as a kit.
Scarlet could barely see out in front of her, as the water stung her eyes and the mist made it almost impossible to see anything. And all that kicking, all that effort to stay afloat was tiring her out. Somehow she knew what was coming. She knew that the end was near. She glanced to the side and swore she saw her younger brother, Spot, struggling against the current. But before Scarlet could get a proper look, he disappeared underwater, and soon enough, so did she, as she plunged down the waterfall...
I hope you like the intro! I'm not that good at RPing in large groups, so maybe we can keep this one small? Like, we'll have me and some other ppl play as the kits (there are 4 of them, but there were 5... [SPOILERS AHEAD!] Spot, the runt of the litter, drowned.
As well as the 4 kits, there could be some rogues, loners and kittypets introduced. Also, the RP will start just as soon as the surviving kits are washed ashore, but if you want to include a few flashbacks, feel free to!
The rules are simple. Just the general WCRP rules as well as no godmodding, "stealing" characters, keeping it appropriate, etc. Oh and have fun!! C=
I'll post a Join Forum Thread (or whatever it is called) so you can join and create your character(s) there. You can either use the template there or go freestyle but if you do do it on your own try to keep it relatively similar to the template (include name, age, fur, personality, stuff like that)

My character will be named Scarlet. She is one of the kits from _________ and __________. (I haven't decided on their names yet) She is 3 moons old and has really soft black fur (with a white patch on her chest) and she has Scarlet eyes. She had a pretty, adorable face and pointy ears, a bright pink nose, a long tail, a lithe body, and long legs.
Personality wise, she is very outgoing and although she can be arrogant and careless sometimes she will always protect her siblings with her life. She is also very sweet and gentle, but can be a bit bossy and thinks she knows it all. She is also very impatient and snaps often, but she has good intentions.
Lastly, she is afraid of the dark, and seh loves to run and explore and be in charge.
Can't wait to hear from you! If anyone comments here I WILL make the joining forum!
