What the potato is kit stealing

It's a roleplaying game, usually on fan-clans. Clans sometimes have little 'kit-dens', which have lists of kits and descriptions that usually aren't roleplayed. Other Clans can perform 'raids' on these Clans and attempt to steal some of the kits. The defending Clan would have to protect the kits. Raids were also common in kit-centers.

There was a large argument about this on the old forums because a certain group of stealers was not being polite or following the Clan's rules when they raided, which caused lots of trouble. But most of the kit stealers were very formal and polite, and these raids would be planned and fair for both sides. It was an interesting and fun way to roleplay with people you never really talked to, and get Clans connected as counter-raids and 'kit-savers' worked to get the kits back. It was like a game of capture the flag, and was very popular in 2012-13 and was revived in 2015 temporarily.
