Hi! So I've been wanting to make an RP for a while, but I'm not sure which one to make, so I'd like your opinion :3
Here's a little info about my ideas for each.
High school RP ~ I did this one on the old forums and it was pretty popular. Basically it's a school called Princeton Academy, where there are five houses. Juven, Icel, Avandor, Clance and Placy and each student goes through interviews and gets put into a house. Throughout the year, whilst taking specialist classes (e.g. specified for drama, art, music, sport, language etc etc etc) they compete in challenges to earn points. Basically, the RP will consist of your normal high school RP drama between the houses, but also the characters from the same houses actually performing in said challenges which I will actually award points for and when we decide to finish the school year, it will actually be a total mystery as to which house actually one. I reckon it could be fun cuz it adds a challenge not only for the characters but the people RPing them as some of the challenges will involve things such as riddles and the like.
Mortal Instruments RP ~ Based off the books, it's about a race of half-angels called Shadowhunters who fight demons. Characters could be either cannon (maybe just be the kids of the originals depending on timeline) or OC. Might make Valentine/Sebastian come back (yes I know that doesn't match with the books) or create a new villain trying to recreate the Circle or something, we'll see.
Supernatural one ~ Based off an old book idea I found, it would be about a society that has many different species which I would list for RP, but not here cuz I'm lazy. Basically they are your normal fae, vampire, werewolf but different and there are other species like divids, the myra and harlums which I've created. But anyway, you could RP as one of the supernatural creatures, an apprentice who is learning to catch/kill them, a master who is training them or a guilder who basically runs schools for the apprentices to learn at and they also deal with the supernatural beings once they've been captured. Interesting plot idea I'm thinking about is that a few of the guilders are starting to rebel and make their schools harsher and instead of promoting the capture method, are instead training the students to just kill all of them, even when the supernatural creature has done nothing wrong.
Apocalypse one ~ Another one from the old forums. Where robots were made to help humans in their everyday endevours, but have turned against them now and are instead beginning to capture humans and turn them into cyborgs - eventually full robots. The RP will be about the survivors who live in 'dead-zones' trying to get their lives back.
So let me know which one you reckon would be best to do, thanks!

Gengar -- help would be greatly appreciated! Normally I do my own layouts, but because it looks like I'll be making the supernatural one I'll have to do up all of the lore and history and all which will take me a bit. So, if you would be up for doing headers and the coding for the layout that would be awesome. I'll probably still make my own banner and if I decide to do them dividers though.

Things to be done --
banner/dividers - me headers/coding for layout - Gengar
introduction You can hear the loud pounding of your heart. It echoes through you like the beat of a drum. It's about to happen. The final challenge. The last test. It's been six years, and finally, oh finally, you're about to become a Hunter. You've dreamed of this day since you were fourteen, and now, at 20, it's finally here. As the Divid circles around you, gnashing its dreadful tone, you flick the sword in your hand. This was going to be hard. Throughout the entirety of your training, this was the one creature that had always been the hardest. It wasn't the fact that you actually had to kill this one instead of capture it. It wasn't the way it's bones scraped together, no, it was the eyes. The glowing red eyes. But this was the last thing you had to defeat, the end hurdle till you reached your goal. All you had to do was not look into the glowing redness. Simple. Taking a deep breath, you look at the ground, watching the talons as they scrape the soft earth of the arena. You can't hear anyone, they've fallen silent now, no longer cheering, but holding their breath in anticipation, this would be the fight that determined your future. And so, you step forward, ducking the swiping talons and jumping over the wings as they beat towards you. But then you make a fatal mistake. As you bring the sword down for the killing blow, the blow that will win it for you, you look up. You look up right into the glowing redness where eyes should normally be. You feel the sword slip from your fingers as numbness sweeps your body. The last sound you hear is the disappointed sigh from the crowd as the ground welcomes you, blackness swallowing your vision. You failed. And now your soul was gone, with this, there was no second chance to go back and redo the training, the Divid had won, which meant you'd lost big time. You hadn't learnt what your Master had tried to teach you. Looking into the eyes of a Divid meant you'd sold your soul to them, it meant that you were no longer a person, but a husk. Great. The blackness consumed you fully now and you welcomed it all of a sudden. Because surely this was better than waiting another six years, right?
rules - all forum rules apply - - no perfect characters/spotlighting/godmodding etc etc basically just have RP courtesy - - at least try to read some of the history and culture/traditions to get a feel for it - - if you want to make one of the creatures, ask first - because some I don't want people to RP simply because there won't be anything for them to actually do - - any questions about the lore/background, feel free to ask! - - not a literate RP per say, but I ask you try to give something the other person can work with each post, so more than just 'blah nodded in response.' and that's all - - please try to be active! if you think you'll be away for a few days, that's okay, just post a quick message to let me know! every month or so, i'll go through and delete people who haven't posted at all within that time with no reason - - no stealing or modifying the concepts for your own use at all. this is my original idea and i don't want anyone stealing it - - have lots of pancakes -

** species are any supernatural creature I've approved you rping. If you want to do an apprentice/hunter/master/guilder put which of them it is. If an apprentice, also add what stage they are up to in their training. Please keep in mind appropriate ages as well. An Apprentices training would start at 14, so they would finish and become a Hunter at 20. Going from Hunter to Master would take a minimum of one year if they are proactive, so the youngest Master would be 21. Most Guilders are older and basically go from Master to Guilder to retire, so in this world, 40 or above - it doesn't have to be though because Masters have to of trained an Apprentice to full completion to become a Guilder, the youngest Guilder would be 26, but this would only be if they straight away took an Apprentice once they became a Hunter, however, since this is highly unlikely, and most wait a year, the youngest would really be 27. With supernatural creatures, if it is a vampire, they are most likely over 100 years old, unless they've been turned recently, most of the other creatures don't really keep track of their age, but they all live long lives, so all being 100 or over is possible. ^^ the other section includes family, crushes, important information and all of that
history No one thought that it would ever happen. No one expected the demon world to suddenly open a portal and let a whole bunch of supernatural creatures out into our human world. Sure humans were corrupt, still are, but did that really mean we deserved the chaos that ensued as demons tore apart our land and possessed us? We didn't think so, and we still don't. So we decided to fight it. We formed a system and built schools, we train to become Hunters, to keep the supernatural in check. It's the only way we can all survive. Yes, I did say all survive. The way it works is, we stick to ourselves and they stick to themselves. We've agreed on a set of laws which I won't go into right now as they're rather dreary, but basically, it means that we take responsibility for those supernatural that break the rules. We hunt them down and we capture them. Then we drag them back to the Guilders who lock them up and keep them away from the rest of humanity. We've been at it for centuries now, and so, society has rebuilt itself and has come to believe that that time was long in the past, so long ago, in fact, that it is believed to be nothing but mere myths. And so, we do our best to stop the rogue supernatural from killing the innocent whilst also keeping our world secret from them. Because why ruin their ignorant bliss? It's a good system, one that works. We only go after those who broke the law, and only kill if necessary. We've come to accept each other, the supernatural and us Hunters. The one thing we all have in common is demons. The ones who opened the portal in the first place. Demons are the one thing we shoot before asking questions. We worked together to push them back into their realm, but as they years have gone on, and only a few slip through, we're becoming more and more separate. Now, some Guilders are starting to say it is time we fully reclaim our world, as it was humans who were first here, they are saying it's time we capture and kill, not just capture, because after this long, we're running out of room in the Holding Bays. A number of Apprentices are supporting this cause, eager to prove themselves. These are the ones screaming for blood, because we are better than them, and it is our world that we need to take back from them. There are those, however, such as some of the Masters and Hunters, a few Apprentices as well, who are against this idea. They learnt to capture the ones who broke the law, they learnt to drag them back to the Holding Bay where they serve out their punishments for their crimes. These are the ones who believe that we've lived peacefully for this long, so why not keep going? You also have the third group, those who are either indifferent, or don't really share their opinions. These are the ones that will follow orders, but don't see the need to kill the innocent. Sure, maybe the ones who have broken the law if our Holding Bays really are getting too full. But these are the ones who don't think it is time to exterminate all of the supernatural, if there is a system and it works, why change it? Who is right? That's for you to decide.
creatures/ranks
Supernatural Creatures
The Myra – The Myra are the three rulers of the supernatural world, each sisters. The Myra are all witches who wield an incredible amount of power. They have half the face of a beautiful woman and half of a witch.
Witches – Creatures with large amounts of power. Generally hostile to everyone but their own kind. Have a horrid appearance with straggly hair and skin that looks like cracked earth. Each witch has a wand which is their main source of power, but they are still lethal without it.
Spidon – Essentially witch apprentices. Have only a fraction of the power of a witch, no matter how far into their training they are. They get the power of a full witch by becoming one in a special ceremony unknown to anyone else, even the Masters.
The Keepers – Vile skeleton-like creatures who crawl on all fours. Relatively easy to kill but if they get their hands on you you’ll be dead in a second. They are called Keepers because they love to hoard things and can be paid off with the right amount of proper stuff for them to hoard, such as gold, silver or other shiny metals. They cannot talk but rather communicate by gnashing their teeth.
Divids – Sort of like Keepers but with large skeletal wings and talons. Red dots are in place of their eyes. They are incredibly dangerous and hard to kill. Never look into their eyes otherwise they will steal your soul.
Goblins – Goblins are the servants of the Myra. They are fat, hairy creatures with dark brown skin and pointed ears. They are incredibly short and have large, round eyes. They love to play practical jokes.
Harlums – A mix of fairy/elf/goblin. Their size varies greatly. They usually have either pale or olive skin and long hair of different colours. A Harlums eyes, even the whites, are completely black. They can be kind and gentle, but are incredibly protective as well. Although kind most of the time, watch out, the goblin in them loves to play practical jokes and as we know, fairies can be sly. Harlums have pointed, elf-like ears.
Fairy – Average, human like creatures that are known to be sly. Unlike some of the myths say, these fairies can lie and often do. You can find them almost anywhere if you know what to look for. Although they love to lie, they are also rather shy. Fairies tend to flock together when in danger and hide in nature. Most fairies live in woods or around ponds with plenty of hiding places. Fairies often have pale skin, like the colour of milk with flowing hair and bright eyes. Most will be barefoot as they prefer to run wild. Fairies are beautiful creatures but you have to be cautious around one.
Elf – Elves are usually smaller than most humans, although some are taller. They have light hair most of the time, with flawless skin as well. Elves like to make alliances and are incredibly loyal. They will protect the things they love fiercely. Elves are always willing to help someone out, but you have to be careful in accepting as some expect a payment of sorts in return.
Sprites – Tiny creatures, averaging at about the size of a human thumb. They have large pointy ears and translucent wins. Some have a tinge of colour in their wins. Sprites often have short, cropped hair and are incredible trouble makers. Most will offer you assistance in return for you owing them a favour. It is not a good idea to take this offer as it is often a very unpleasant favour.
Werehounds – A version of a werewolf. They have a similar appearance to wolves, but have either blood red or black fur. They all have eyes which are completely golden. Werehounds are trained killers and excellent trackers. These creatures are dangerous to train and hard to kill. Offer them a good enough bargain and you can own them. They talk to your mind, trying to trick you. If you look in their eyes you become paralysed with fear, making it easier for them to kill you. A Werehound can only be killed if you use a weapon of silver.
Werewolves – Not unlike their cousins, the Werehound, a Werewolves fur is usually a russet colour, but can be shades of grey, black or white as well. A Werewolves eyes are usually bright colours, such as a bright blue or green. Generally viscous creatures, they did not learn from the Werehounds and prefer to just kill instead of hunt. They can only be killed with weapons of silver, although others will harm them.
Vampires – Brooding creatures with pale skin and elegant features. They can go into light for short periods of time, but not for long. You have to look hard to see their fangs and most have a slight lisp because of them. They are talented and agile as well as quick thinkers. They prefer to be alone rather than in a group. You can never trust a vampire. Always assume they are lying if you don’t know for sure that they are wrong, even then, be doubtful. Vampires can be either peaceful or savage and although harder to kill than humans, can be killed in some of the same ways. They heal rather quick.
Demons - The species that all others prefer to avoid. Nasty and sly, you never want to face off against one of these guys. The worst of the worst, demons come in all shapes, sizes and colours. Generally staying within their own dimension, these guys have the ability to transport into our world at will. Their main goal in life is to cause chaos wherever they go, and their main source of food is humans, although they will eat the other supernatural creatures if it comes down to it. Hard to kill and even harder to try and catch, a
Human Ranks
Apprentice - A half-breed or human who is currently completing any one of the six stages to becoming a Hunter. They can start their training under a Hunter at age 14, and have the opportunity to complete their training and become a Hunter at 20, after their six years of training. For each stage, there is a specific coloured ribbon on their uniform which signifies where they are at for their training.
Hunters – Half-breeds and humans who have trained in the art of capturing and controlling all of the other creatures. If they didn't have to redo their training, they would be 20 when becoming this. Hunters live by a strict code and follow it down to the last word. They can take on an Apprentice and train them to become Hunters in one of the 'schools' run by a Guilder, however, because they have only just finished training themselves, this is unlikely during their first year as a Hunter, so most would take an Apprentice at 21 (when they can become a Master if captured the 30 creatures). Once capturing 30 creatures, Hunters are able to become Masters.
Masters – The level above Hunters, the youngest being 21, many older. They have faced the Myra twice and captured a minimum of 30 creatures. More respected and generally wiser than Hunters, a Master gets a few extra privileges. Whilst Hunters can and do take on Apprentices, it is far more likely for a Master to do this, as, to become a Guilder, they have to of fully trained an Apprentice who has become a Hunter
Guilder – Masters who are in charge of holding all the creatures captured until they are sent to the Holding Bay, the youngest could be 26, but realistically is 27, however, many are much older, most in their mid-late 40's. Most Masters see becoming a Guilder as taking a step back and retiring. Most Guilders are also in charge of a school for the Masters/Hunters to train their Apprentices. ceremonies/traditions Apprentice -> Hunter - Special ceremony where everyone is present - Course takes six years - Apprentice has to capture one of each of the creatures - If successful, then goes alone to face the Myra - If they pass they become a Hunter. If they fail, they do the whole course again.
Hunter -> Master - Captured 30 creatures - Massive ceremony with everyone present - Face the Myra again
Master -> Guilder - Large ceremony with everyone present - Trained one apprentice to completion who has become a Hunter themselves, as well as the minimum 30 creature catch from being a Hunter
Ribbons on an Apprentice uniform – White – New -- they have just started learning the first stage. (age 14 when doing this) Blue – completed the first stage and are learning the second stage. (age 15 when doing this) Silver – completed the second stage and are learning the third stage. (age 16 when doing this) Black – completed the third stage and are learning the fourth stage. (age 17 when doing this) Red – completed the fourth stage and are learning the fifth stage. (age 18 when doing this) Purple – completed the fifth stage and are learning the sixth stage. (age 19 when doing this) Gold - completed the sixth stage and is now a Hunter. (age 20 for cermony)

other ~ plot So the plot is that for many centuries Guilders have been running schools for Apprentices to learn at and Hunters and Masters to teach and train at. The laws state to capture any supernatural creature who breaks the law, and only those who have broken the law. The only reason to kill is in self-defence. This obviously means that some creatures, such as Werehounds, Divids, Demons and Keepers, need to be killed as they can't listen to any form of reason and will simply attack. But throughout these centuries, many creatures have been captured, meaning room is running out in the Guilders Holding Bays. Many are now suggesting that instead of capturing, it's time to start killing. Now, as Apprentices learn, they are being taught to kill on sight, some Guilders promoting killing any supernatural being, not just the ones who have broken the law. There are many different views about this, some believing it is time to get rid of the supernatural beings, as it is our human world and we need to reclaim it. This mindset is mainly the Guilders, and is being passed on to some of the Apprentices. It's a dangerous and toxic way of thinking, a way of thinking that is promoting mayhem. Some are indifferent, and have no issue with killing those who have broken the law, but aren't sure about killing innocents. Others, some of the Masters who grew up learning to simply capture, are completely against this new form of training. It's becoming a divided world, something which is leaving the demons an open opportunity to attack and take over the world for themselves this time. ~ members ~ relationships

Just wondering, is the apocalypse one you mentioned to old Roleplay "Resistance if Futile?" I was never a member of it but I remember how popular it was and it's a little nostalgic ^^'
