Harespring is Onestar's son. That's why he is deputy and why Onestar was so quick to forgive the Dark Forest trainees.

Emberstar (RiverClan's leader during the time of the first code) is River Ripple and Night's son.
Mapleshade is a descendant of Redstar.
If Tadpole had lived, Hawkfrost wouldn't have been evil. His older brother would have been able to keep him in line.

Spider Paw is the ancestor of Blackstar.
Blue Whisker's mate is Owl Eyes and their descendants led ThunderClan.
Doestar is somehow related to Mapleshade and that is why Mapleshade is wiped from the collective memory.
I now believe Poppydawn really is one of Pineheart's kits.
Ryestalk and Shrewclaw's kits are Mudclaw and Ashfoot.
Mapleshade would not have gone off the deep end if she had family to support her.
Thistleclaw never would have been chosen as deputy and Goosefeather made her give up her kits so Mistykit could lead RiverClan in the future.
