I have a lot of different ideas and I'm not really sure which one to work on right now, or what would be most popular. So, here's a poll, as well as a short explanation of each concept.
Fallout: Vault 181
This roleplay would revolve around the inhabitants of Vault 181, a Vault built in Orlando, Florida to house 1000 "random" citizens from the surrounding counties. In actuality, the inhabitants were carefully selected for the purpose of Vault-Tec's experiment: to test how quickly societies break down when run inefficiently by people doing ill-suited tasks. The idea is for the Vault Dwellers to be put into jobs that are badly-suited for, but unable to escape due to the Vault's "automated" systems. This would essentially be a Vault slice-of-life where the Dwellers have to deal with their circumstances and, hopefully, overcome them. It would be suitable for people who haven't played the Fallout games as well, because the plot is fairly easily explained and they can learn the details as they go, either by having them explained or looking for a Fallout wiki.
Disney: The Haunted Mansion
Other than the fact that The Haunted Mansion ride is in Disney World/Disney Land, this roleplay would actually have nothing to do with Disney itself. It would take place in The Haunted Mansion (in the roleplay, it would be an actual real-life place), which is owned and (somewhat) maintained by a living family and staff but primarily inhabited by ghosts. The roleplay would for the most part be the daily interactions of the ghosts with each other and with the living who step into their domain, but it would also include another, darker mystery hidden in the attic of the old manor house.... This one, too, would require very little background knowledge, as anything "canon" will be explained, but mostly it would be made up. Not quite sure if it would take place in Victorian times or shortly after, or if it would take place in modern times when the Victorian house is old and broken down (I'll leave this to the vote with two variations of this option). You could make a completely original character, or take the place of your favorite ghosts from the ride (this roleplay would be based on the Disney World version of The Haunted Mansion since that is the one I'm familiar with).
Skyrim: The Dark Brotherhood
I did consider putting this as an umbrella "Elder Scrolls" or even just "Skyrim" roleplay, but the truth is, the world of Tamriel and even just the province of Skyrim is just too darn big to make a good roleplay out of. I've joined many, and the always fail because, let's be honest, there's too much going on the world and the characters have too many differences to adequately draw them together. So, instead I'm going to focus on my favorite group in the Elder Scrolls games: the Dark Brotherhood. This would take place shortly after the game of Skyrim, probably 4E204 or 205, and would mostly focus on the rebuilding of the Brotherhood during this time period. It would take place in the Dawnstar Sanctuary, with a few canon characters but mostly OCs, as well as my own spin on what had happened in DB canon during the time of Skyrim and of Oblivion (don't worry, it's mostly the same, just with some minor details changed to account for my characters. Mostly the same as WHAT happened, just defining the "player" character who did it all a bit more). Characters would go through their day-to-day lives in the Sanctuary, intermittently visiting Skyrim's cities for recruitment, provisions, or missions. Assuming this proved popular, the world could be expanded on with linked groups of different groups, guilds, or places, either that I would make or that anyone else passionate about Skyrim could collaborate with me to make. For now, though, it would focus on the DB.
The Inheritance Cycle: Dragon Riders of the East
*spoilers* This would take place probably a good 15-20 years after the end of Inheritance, and would mostly focus on the new Riders rebuilding themselves under Eragon and Saphira's leadership, east of the rest of Alagasia. Therefore, the majority of characters would be Riders or dragons, with plenty of wild dragons and perhaps a couple of non-Rider people (such as the elves who went with Eragon to help out). It would mostly be a lot of young Riders training, with a few older Riders, and of course wild dragons doing, well, wild dragon things. There would be the opportunity for canon characters or character RELATED to canon ones (such as Roran & Katrina's daughter, or any of her presumable younger siblings, or the children of Nasuada and whoever she inevitably marries for political reasons...) as well as plenty of OCs from all races of Alagasia. Riders might also occasionally visit Alagasia itself for whatever reason- carrying eggs to possibly hatch for new Riders, or bringing messages, or anything else you could think of.
Soul Eater: Shibusen
*spoilers for Soul Eater manga (not so much anime)* Like many of the others listed here, this roleplay would take place after canon events; probably a good 15-30 years after the Soul Eater manga. It would follow some of the canon characters, as well as plenty of OCs, acting both as teachers and as students as they go through training as weapons and meisters in Shibusen, Death's Weapon Meister Academy. Though this would at first be akin to a magical high school roleplay with the expected anime absurdity (EXCALIBUUUUUUUUUUR) a plot would eventually kick in. After all, did you really think Medusa would really just stay dead?
