Kaiser hesitated, looking over at where Katherine would be staying, then decided an already existing alliance with old friends was more important. 'I'll speak with your father first, I haven't really had the chance yet and I'm still learning.' He eventually said, looking at her. 'Can you take me to him? I haven't been here before, so I don't have a clue where to go.' He chuckled, amused at his own uselessness.

Aurinda had been awake for hours already, her books of magic sitting out across her floor. Since last night she had become worried, if she was that far behind she needed to work harder. She yawned widely and glanced out her window seeing suddenly there were thin strands a daylight streaming into her room. A heavy sigh escaped her lips and she closed her eyes to relax for a moment. Feeling her sudden exhaustion wash over her for just a moment or two.
Then Ulfric's knock came and she jumped from a bit of fright. Aurinda quickly shoved her books under her bed and tugged a robe over her night gown. "Coming!" she chimed as she rose to her feet and went over, tying the belt about her slender waist quickly and opening the door just a bit. Seeing Ulfric standing there she smiled gently and opened the door a bit more, "Good morning, Ulfric." she greeted softly.

Varina smiled gently to him and nodded in return, "Of course." she told him with a bright smile. Then they circled around to the entrance and she lead him inside and up towards her father's chambers. If Seneca was awake by now she was certain her father was as well. The king's door was open and she knocked gently, "Good morning father." she chimed gently, "Kaiser is here to speak to you." she told him before strolling in. Servius was settled in at the desk provided for them, a few papers sprawled out in front of him. His eyes moved up at the sound of a knock and he beamed seeing the two of them. He rose to his feet and approached them, "Hello you two!" he chimed brightly as he wrapped them both into a hug at once.

"Good morning Aurinda." He said with a soft smile. "How are you? After yesterday, I mean...?" He asked, titling his head. "I don't know exactly how you're feeling after it all..." He examined her, his mouth twitching at the corners.

Aurinda's long legs were almost fully visible to him as her robe ended about mid-thigh length and her raven-hair flowing about her features nicely and resting over her shoulders. She crossed her arms over her chest gently, tugging it a bit closer around her breasts to cover up a bit more. At his concern she gave the softest blush and nodded, "I'm alright, still a bit unnerved, I didn't sleep all that long either." she commented in return as she shrugged softly, her eyes rising back up to meet his. "How are you?" she inquired softly.

He rose to his feet and approached them, "Hello you two!" he chimed brightly as he wrapped them both into a hug at once. Kaiser released a squeak, then grinned and wrapped his arm around the king, squeezing gently- his strength as an Ancientblood- and a descendent of Manse- would be enough to crush the king's spine if he wanted to, so he often had to be cautious with his strength. Though Morcan would be able to beat my a** if it came to physical strength. he thought to himself. Morcan had already been a powerful kid at the age of 13, and he'd been chosen in person by Potentia himself at 14 years old- one of the youngest ages to be chosen, not to mention the fact Potentia himself had chosen him, which was unheard of- and then he'd turned Boy-King at the age of 15, ruling over Varezi until his younger, hotheaded brother, whom he'd also had to care for, could take the throne instead. Morcan was Kaiser's role model, his idol- the joy he'd felt standing before him the day prior had been almost overwhelming. 'Good morning, Sire.' Kaiser replied, coughing slightly as he pulled away. 'I was hoping to discuss with you the alliance agreements? I have a feeling they may need to be amended, especially with the trouble we are having at the moment with food- I'm sorry for being a bother.' He said, before bowing slightly.

Servius tossed a hand over his shoulder to the comment from Kaiser, "It is no worry my son." he told him with a smile before motioning for him to come over and look over the alliance deals on the scrolls he had on the desk. He settled into his seat with a sigh and brushed back some of his hair before pulling out the correct scrolls. "What will you be needing?" he inquired looking to Kaiser with a lightly arched brow.
Varina smiled to the two men and then left with a light wave to the two of them. She then took her leave, going to find Seneca and to settle in with Vita for a little bit before the Asiralathians took their leave as well for the day.

'Food, mainly; crops. And water. The water is being contaminated and we haven't yet found a way to purify it- I think Inai will be coming up to take a look soon though.' He assured him, examining the scrolls thoroughly. Kaiser did not want to mess anything up; he took pride in his position as King and wanted everything to proceed smoothly.
---
Katherine stretched out her aching limbs, wincing as she sat up and ran a hand through her hair. She examined the multitude of bites covering her body- including the one off Legion on her neck- and felt a weird flower of satisfaction bloom in her stomach. Was she starting to settle into this relationship? She got to her feet and dressed, closing her eyes and running a hand over her stomach to see if she could sense anything there- nothing so far. Perhaps she needed more time. She glanced out of the window, took in the view- breathed in the air, and then retreated to her husband to gently shake him awake. 'Aiden.. wake up.' She softly said. 'It's nearly time for us to head back to Varezi.' She couldn't bring herself to say 'home'. It wasn't home yet.

Servius nodded gently to him in return, "Water we can easily transport over the bright, I will have Varina assist as she is adept with her elemental skills now. As for food, we can send carts with plenty of pants such as wheats and rices, whichever you need and prefer." he told him with a nod. "Our barley is a bit short right now but our wheat is plentiful and will provide you with a variety of foods to cook." he told him lightly. Servius then looked to Kaiser and tipped his head to the side lightly, "Is there anything else we can provide for you?" he inquired with an arch of his brow.

He nodded. "That's good." He said, smiling softly, then he blushed lightly as well as she covered herself. "I...I'm alright." He said, glancing away, then catching sight of one of the books sticking out from under the bed. "What's this...?" He asked, moving over and bending down.

"I-it's...a....I mean i-it's just..." she trailed off, unable to find a quick enough lie. "It's a text on magic." she finally admitted to him, her eyes flickered towards the door and she went over and closed it quickly before anyone walked by and overheard their conversation. Then she went back over to Ulfric and slipped the book from his hands, "Please keep this secret." she murmured to him as she clutched the book to her chest and looked to his eyes.

'I really must go see if I can catch the Varezian's and seal an alliance.' He then worriedly said. 'I don't want to be cornered by that madman.' He sighed, walking towards the door and pushing a hand in his pocket. He severely hoped that Servius hadn't been asking that question to see if Kaiser would go for his youngest- that would have been awkward.

'I'm well.' She assured him, trying not to flinch from his touch, instead calming herself with the care he was projecting to her. She sat on the edge of the bed. 'Get yourself dressed.' She told him, meeting his gaze and smiling slightly. 'Time to go back.'

Servius nodded quietly in return, "I understand, you get going then." he smiled and signed off on the treaty agreements and then stretched himself out a bit more.
Aurinda watched him quietly and then actually laughed a little at slow reaction to put it all together. But, she nodded gently in return and settled herself onto the edge of the bed and opened the book, "Just a bit, I can more just see the magic in sparks and flickers as of right now." she told him as she looked up and motioned patted the bed lightly for him to sit down next to her.

Aurinda smiled lightly to him and nodded with a little bit of a laugh, "It's definitely not for everyone." she told him lightly as she looked over the pages. She then paused a moment and looked back up to him, "Can I tell you about yesterday?" she inquired lightly. Aurinda's eyes moved back ahead and focused on a spot on the ground as she spoke "I could see what was happening, I'm not sure what it was but, Alain and Aiden were holding off Daniel. They were fighting with him. Using their magic. That's when Valere got upset, Daniel turned his magic onto Alain and then the two of them were fighting." she told him quietly. A shiver ran down her spine and goosebumps rose across her skin, "That's why I was so...." she took a moment and hated the next word she was going to use, "scared, yesterday." Her eyes flicked back up to Ulfric and she gave him a weak smile.

"You felt...overpowered?" He asked, tilting his head. In truth, he felt the same, not that he'd admit it to anyone. He may be an Earth Elemental, but Daniel's skills far outstripped his. He wouldn't stand a chance.

He smiled softly, before moving his arn to wrap it around her shoulders and pull her further against him. "We'll be fine...he can't do anything here, and back on Varezi we have our army and the Elite's." He turned to face her, and rested his chin on top of her head.

Aurinda sighed and rested against his side, feeling her cheeks flush lightly as he pulled her closer and rested his chin to her head, but she smiled lightly and nodded, "What happens when he loses it all though?" she murmured lightly a small bit of fear gripping her chest. "His mind is already split into plenty of pieces, what about that last sane bit left?" she moved then to face him a bit more and tucked herself into his broad chest. She took in a deep breath, his warmth and the warm musky smell of him calming her a bit.

In fact, it made him seem like a violence-happy person. Great. "But hopefully....that won't happen for a long time. Not while we're alive anyway."

When Alain had spotted her, his gaze had turned tender and warm, and a small smile had appeared on his lips. Memories of the night before had flooded him with warmth and affection. But then his mother and father opened their stupid mouths, and he snapped. 'Don't talk about her as if she's a wh*re like you and him.' Alain snarled, feeling the fiery anger finally erupt again inside of his stomach and burn through his veins, Amber leaping in the violet of his eyes, directed now not just at Tabir, but at Valare- something he'd always restrained. He immediately stormed away, not wanting to even look at them, his dragon hissing at his anger and baring her fangs at his parents. She moved over to Iona with him and he took her hand, trying to calm down. 'I'm going to visit the academy in person and get my application in as soon as is damned possible.' He told her. 'I'll see you in a week; I promise.' He spoke so only she could hear, before releasing her hand after kissing it, and sliding onto his dragon. He was half tempted to look at his mothers expression at his openly expressed affection towards Iona- he hoped she was seething. He hoped she was Jealous. He wanted her to feel the anger he felt for her. 'Let's go, Ma'sir.' The dragoness spread her wings, and was the first to leave the island, beating her wings hard as she lifted above the clouds. Valare just about spat out her own front fangs when she heard him. Oh, she was used to Alain's snapping and whining. But to defend someone so violently...? When it really was just little Caristonia -- her parent's mistake after too much wine on their anniversary. Suddenly, her eyes dropped. She realized exactly what...and why...Alain said what he did. No...that little sl*t!Fury marked every step as she went over to the Brag'hanian emperor -- hoping he saw the intent in her eyes. She'd wanted to speak to him previously about the 'Caristonia' problem, but now she had even more reasons to end the little imp. "Your majesty," she started. "We need to talk," [[Could the real Emperor Danny please stand up?]] Iona could feel Valare's laughter as she walked. But she was more embarrassed as Alain saw her -- she didn't want to give off any impression that she was weak or unable. But as he came to her, her fears melted away, and she told Arch and Hyp to stop so she could speak to him privately. Valare would no doubt be watching -- but she didn't care. After last night, she'd give her life to be in Alain's arms again. What should she say? Be careful? Watch your back? No...he got enough of that off of his mother. He could protect himself -- she just hoped he had enough room in that passionate heart for her. "Night or day," she whispered "it doesn't matter the time -- or what she says she'll do to me -- the doors of my palace will always be open to you," she whispered, winking at the double meaning and then once he left, she hopped on Kalamine, sneezing slightly as the silver mist threatened her nose. [[So, for the year skip, where do we see Alain and Iona after that?]]
