Kaiser broke into a warm, welcoming smile as the woman greeted and approached him, and then chuckled as her dragon happily came over to greet her rider; he missed Druinn being so loving. Now he just sort of grumped at him- and that was it, really. 'Yeah, I slept out here- I like to see the stars.' He explained, nodding towards the lightened blue sky. 'And when they reflect off the rolling waves... it's just beautiful, and really peaceful.' Kaiser shimmied out of his dragons coils and stretched out his muscular body, before walking over to her. 'How are you?' He politely asked. 'I hope the meeting yesterday didn't shake you too much?' Varina smiled to him and let out a light laugh, "I see, I suppose with Roewen being such an open sort of kingdom it makes sense then." she commented as she ran her fingers through Vita's fur. Then as he expressed his worry towards her she nodded in agreement, "I didn't quite sleep because of it." she admitted to him with a sheepish grin and a little bit of a laugh. She knew it was not normal for one to admit their flaw or their weaknesses but, what did Varina care with Kaiser? Her eyes flicked back up to the tall young man and she arched a brow to him lightly, "What about you?" she asked in return. He hesitantly looked away and sighed. 'A few nightmares; some strange dreams about storms and flames.' He murmured, shaking his head. 'Nothing good can come from all of this... nothing good at all.' He looked away and pushed his hands into his pockets, looking back at her. 'Would you like to walk with me?' He politely asked. |

Varina blinked as he mentioned storms and flames as well and she nodded, "I had the same." she told him with a bit of surprise. Though she smiled once again as he offered to walk and she nodded happily, "I would enjoy that." she told him with a smile and light sigh. She went to his side and walked with him happily, truly she did enjoy Kaiser's presence and being around him, he was kind and smart. Her eyes flickered up to him and a slightly mischievous and teasing smile flickered to her lips, "May I tell you something my father told me?" she asked him lightly.
(Maybe Varina and Kaiser end up just getting together later because she understands he needs an heir and needs to continue his kingdom, but they're just close to each other and have sort of an open relationship on the side? That'd be sort of an interest plot? Unless you don't want that! Just an idea!)

Caelume had been leaning back against a nearby shop wall as he waited for Ohdren to finish up their task. It was simple, why was the brat taking so long? Get in, grab the journal, and get out? He must've found himself some food or something of interest to Ohdren. Caelum sighed and rolled his eyes as he picked at his nails, digging out dirt with his knife. The suave looking young man would catch glances from the passing ladies and throw a charming remark to them, causing giggles and blushes from whoever past. As well as a few young men who he caught eyeing him as well. Caelum had no shame, truly it must not have been born to the young man. His eyes flickered upward towards the home where Ohdren had disappeared and he arched a brow as he saw the small figure burst through the window and into a cart of furs. A wicked and taunting smirk crept to his lips and he rolled his eyes and tuggged his hood over his head. With that he dashed after the child and snagged the fur off of him, tugging it about his own shoulders. "For f**ks sake Ohdren." he murmured to him as he snagged his arm and tugged his down a few other alleyways and up onto a roof and over a few of those. Then he ducked down off of them and glanced around, figuring they were certainly safe for now. Then his gaze turned to Ohdren and he arched his brow, "What the hell happened?" he inquired crouching so the two were eye-to-eye being Ohdren was still a small child for the time being. He glanced over the journal in his hands and then over the small bits of food clinging to his face and a laugh escaped his lips then, "Did you get caught because you decided to take a wee snack break?!" he laughed as he looked over Ohdren again and shook his head. He clicked his tongue and wiggled his finger in front of Ohdren's face, "Now, what have I told you about asking before eating? It's certainly not polite to take without asking." he taunted with another bright laugh before snagging the journal and thumbing through it quickly, the fur still draped over his shoulders like a king's cape. "How else was I supposed to get fed? All you do is drink that gross stuff adult's drink," he whined, finding a loose grape fallen down one of his pockets. He plopped it in his mouth, and then found another few bits and chewed on them, giggling as she saw Caelum was really impressed with his partner's antics. In doing so, he decided to tell Caelum the full story. "Stupid wife came back, they were going at it like rabbits then I got caught. Managed to tank the window though. Think I'll get a bounty on me 'ead?" he asked, not wanting to do any time in jail. "Not if you got what I needed," a voice said from the shadows, and out poured a woman -- tall and slender, had black hair and pure green eyes onto pale skin, and was accompanied by faint lilac chiffon trails covering her body. A gold bangle was around her leg, signifying she was a pr*stitute, but he'd seen her take it off -- so she didn't belong to anyone as a s*x slave. No, she was her own woman. But was still making those annoying googly eyes every woman made at Caelum. What was so great about him anyway. "Oh look, it's the sl@g," Ohdran murmured, crossing his arms. |

'It's none of your business why they're ripped.' He said, brushing her hands off of him. 'I'm fine; better than fine, actually.' He added on, a completely relaxed drawl in his tone. It really was very unlike him to be so calm, and he moved past her.
He even barely looked at Tabir, only to glance at his leg, a cocky smirk on his lips when he saw he hadn't healed yet. I can still hurt you, then. he contented himself, flopping lazily onto a sofa and sprawling on it, examining his nails.
'What time are we going home?' He questioned.

Caelum laughed brightly to Ohdren's story once more and nodded, "I see, well let's just make sure we don't hide in the bedroom next time then?" he suggested with a taunting raise of his brow to Ohdren. Then the voice caught his ear and he tipped his gaze up to meet the emerald eyes of the woman who stepped out to meet them. His smile turned to a charming smirk and he rose back up to his full height, flicking back his chocolate brown hair and watching her quietly. He let his gaze stay to her eyes for now, he knew what she was used to and would stay to his manners for now.
Caelum's eyes flicked down to Ohdren and he whapped the back of his head with the notebook in his hand, "Manners Ohdren, a lady is a lady no matter her profession." he told him simply before looking back to her and arching his brow as he showed her the journal, holding it up but not handing it to her. "What's so important about this ledger then?" he inquired to her with an arch of his brow as he stepped towards her a bit. His head tipped lightly to the side as he came to stand in front of her.
"I don't believe we've properly met yet either though, my apologies for being so rude." he commented then as he held out his free hand to her, "Caelum, Basilisk of Roewn and Asiralath, thief and con of the two nations." he introduced himself to her with a light upturn of the corners of his lips as his gaze remained locked onto her emerald eyes.

This was a name he called most female Asiralathians, but it seemed to suit her the most. She seemed to free and happy, like a beautiful dove, and he appreciated this attitude from her. He wished Clyde would be more open with him- he hated having a bad relationship with his only other living relative- and he felt unbelievably lonely all of the time, especially considering... his problem. He ran a hand through his hair and tried to brush away the ache in his chest, instead smiling at her invitingly to continue with what she wanted to tell him. |

Just an idea!  ) Varina laughed gently at the name and nodded in return, "After you left from our seats yesterday he commented that, were you a bit older, he would push for our marriage as quick as the sun hits the land." she told him with a light arch of her brow to Kaiser. As long as she'd known him, she'd never seen him express true interest in a female. Perhaps he was picky, this was a test, just a small one. Varina had an intuitive sort of nature to her, something her sister and brother seemed to lack and something her father had gotten rid of long ago. Her eyes kept close on him as she watched quietly, her amber eyes bright and cheerful as ever, and her smile sweet and caring as she awaited upon his answer. |

Is that so wrong?" she asked, sulking in the corner like a child who hadn't been given a sweet. "Nice to see you too you little tw*t," Tabir murmured, brushing up on his lipstick. "might as well go now," the queen eventually murmured, recovering from her son's dismissal of her. "If her ladyship is ready," she added dryly, eyes flicking to Tabir. Her husband whipped round, stuck out his hip and smirked. "I'm ready," he said, and walked down the hallways as if he was displaying himself at a br*thal. Valare followed a little behind with her son. "Say what you like about your father but he does now how to use his hips. Besides, he's the reason you're a grandson of beastia," she commented before they got to the beach where Krampus was sitting, waiting for Valare -- knowing the exact time she usually came back out after the Kingsmeet. But she didn't approach him directly. Instead she stood back, watching the monarchs come and go. Her eyes flickered over to Queen Caristonia, who was walking rather slowly and most unusually. Valare just laughed. "By the three realms what happened to her," she said, knowing full well what had happened -- she'd felt the same before. About 250 years ago or so. "Wonder which guard did the deed?" Tabir chuckled, heading towards Krampus. Valare stood back and ushered Alain on. "Go with your father...I have something I need to discuss," she said, flicking her eyes to Daniel who was just about to mount his dragon. |

She dipped her head and smiled, blushing slightly. "I have heard of the great Basilisk but never thought I would meet him. There's so many questions I'd ask about your heists...did you really make it in and out of the iron fortress in Asiralath undetected once?" she asked, before stopping herself and beginning again. "I...I'm sorry. I'm Sthama, Sthama O'Brennigan," she said, slipping the journal out of his hands while he was distracted with her face and then peering into his pages. "We're looking for a particular item, you see," she said "a crystal -- robbed from the Isles by a friend of mine, and sold to Merchant Davies. He didn't ask questions. My friend's already made a fortune off of the crystal, and if we could steal it and sell it on again...well, I wouldn't have to tell you how many nights with me that would buy," she whispered, winking, making sure she was looking at Caelum the whole time. Ohdran grumbled -- there was something he didn't like about her. "I'm pretty sure we could get all the nights we wanted with you for half a lager and a few coppers," he quipped. |

His tone was joking but there was underlying truth to what he said. i wouldn't be able to love you, Varina. The entire situation would just be awkward- it would be completely loveless, just like my fathers marriage, and you deserve more than that. he thought all of this to himself, feeling very guilty. |

Caelum felt the journal slip from his hands, he may have been distracted but he was still vigilant nonetheless. At the mention of his previous heists and how excited she was getting talking about him and he arched his brow with a soft chuckle, "I suppose it's probably all true." he told her with a wink and nod.
As she began to mention the crystal she was after his eyes sparked and his demeanor changed from charming to interested and intrigued. He watched her carefully and then chuckled once again at the mention of spending the nights with her, "I'm certain a night with you would certainly outshine even that crystal." he purred back in response.
His eyes flicked towards Ohdren and he couldn't help but give a light chuckle to the insult but he nodded simply, "Watch your tongue then Ohdren." he murmured as he gave him a sharp glance before looking back towards Sthama and glancing towards the jounral, "What is the plan from here then? You have the journal and you still need us to retrieve the crystal then?" he inquired with a light arch of his brow, his voice now dipping more into a serious and business-tone.

Varina caught it, just a flash, but she nodded lightly to him and blushed gently in return to his compliment. "You are a good man Kaiser." she assured him gently, "You are kind and smart, you have risen to your position at a young age and you are nobly leading the water for you country." her voice was sincere and her eyes flicked up to him for just a moment more before looking back ahead.
"You will find someone as well Kaiser, someone who loves you deeply and understands each and every part to your self." she smiled softly and then laced her arm into his and pulled herself to his side and sighed happily, perhaps she'd meant something behind it, perhaps she was being kind, that was for whoever to discern. Varina let out a happy sigh then, "What are the plans for today then? Is another meeting to be held or are we at a standstill for a bit?" she inquired to him switching topics quickly and smoothly.

But then his mother and father opened their stupid mouths, and he snapped. 'Don't talk about her as if she's a wh*re like you and him.' Alain snarled, feeling the fiery anger finally erupt again inside of his stomach and burn through his veins, Amber leaping in the violet of his eyes, directed now not just at Tabir, but at Valare- something he'd always restrained. He immediately stormed away, not wanting to even look at them, his dragon hissing at his anger and baring her fangs at his parents. She moved over to Iona with him and he took her hand, trying to calm down. 'I'm going to visit the academy in person and get my application in as soon as is damned possible.' He told her. 'I'll see you in a week; I promise.' He spoke so only she could hear, before releasing her hand after kissing it, and sliding onto his dragon. He was half tempted to look at his mothers expression at his openly expressed affection towards Iona- he hoped she was seething. He hoped she was Jealous. He wanted her to feel the anger he felt for her. 'Let's go, Ma'sir.' The dragoness spread her wings, and was the first to leave the island, beating her wings hard as she lifted above the clouds. |

He sighed, his accent drawling. 'I believe some of them are leaving.' He said, watching as Alain indeed took his leave, and watching Daniel getting ready to go on Tyrius. 'I was hoping to try and secure an alliance with Varezi first though.' He said, frowning. |

Varina glanced to him as his hand rested on hers and she smiled gently, "I believe my father was wishing to confirm a few of the alliance terms with our two countries as well." she commented lightly as her amber eyes flicked up to watch Ma'sir and Alain fly back to Zale'mas.
Then she spotted Daniel and she tensed up a moment and squeezed his arm a bit, her bright eyes flashing with a moment of contempt before returning to normal. "I'm certain the Varezians are still here though, if you need to leave and speak with them, I understand." she commented to him lightly, giving him an understanding and kind gaze.

Ulfric glanced outside at the rising sun. Last night had been...interesting to say the least. Over the few hours that he had been stood guard, he had found his thoughts wandering back to the kiss that Aurinda had given him.
How can one kiss make me smitten...? Is it even possible...? he sighed softly, before looking around. His guard shift had ended an hour ago so that he could sleep, but he found that he couldn't.
Ah, sod it. He thought, before he stood and went to find Aurinda.
He tried her bedroom first, knocking on the door and stepping back to wait.
