Welcome to The Duo
The Duo is a simple and almost classic but original game, where creativity plays a large part. The game is a mix of two popular WCRP games, Name the Apprentice, and The Name Rater. In this duo game, 5 apprentice names will be listed without description(unless it is a bonus or special round), Participant's goals are to come up with the best name, without copying from the books or from their piers. The Judge(s) will wait until there are at least 3 entrees(can be more, but if so, judge(s) get to close the round after 3 entrees) before grading each participants names and rate each name from 1-10. If there are multiple judges for the round, then each judges individual grade for each name shall be averaged and the participant with the most amount of points for a certain name is winner for that certain name, though all participants are ranked and get points and comments on each name. RP modes are also available, check the RP section to see the RP link and the Judges and Participants area to fill out the character form and find characters. Check the Cat Tracker to track your points and compete for fun. Lastly, check out the prize pool for prizes and the Chat Page section to get the link to find a place to chat. The Color code
The Color Code is the map Judges use to grade names, a certain color means a certain score.
Red-1-Name that is unrealistic
Orange-2-Name that is almost unrealistic or like another name
Yellow-3-Plain and bland name that is common or unrealistic
Green-4-Still plain, but a little less common or unrealistic
Blue-5-A name that is plain but not unrealistic and makes sense
Purple-6-Not so common, but not the best, makes sense, but doesn't flow
Bronze-7-A nice name that makes sense, sorta flows, but not the most creative
Silver-8-A unique creative name that is short of rareness
Gold-9-More unique, rare, creative than a silver, but short of fame
Rainbow-10-Your name is at fame level, congrats!
