Darkest
The moon rose above the trees. The dark-pelted tom stared down upon his world- the world he had destroyed. A smile flickered across his face. His claws dug into the rock beneath his paws. A rock behind him tumbled down the mountainside, and he turned to see a young, lithe brown tabby she-cat, followed by a slightly older yellow tabby tom. Smiling maliciously, he stood and padded towards them.
"Hello, Moon," he meowed to the she-cat. "And who is this?"
"He survived," snarled Moon. "I don't know how."
"Tell me," said the dark-pelted tom, "What your name is?"
"Never!" growled the yellow tabby, backing away slightly.
"Alright," the tom replied with a shrug. "I suppose you'll just have to listen to my story. Maybe then you'll tell me."

"I was born into one of those Clans, just like you. So was Moon. We were once called Sparrowkit and Nightkit. I knew I would become a great warrior, of course. Then everything changed. Our Clan was driven- no, led to another territory. That crazy cat Skypaw thought he could see the future. He believed Twolegs would destroy our forest, like what happened in the legends. Of course, I knew there had never, ever been a cat named Firestar. Even though Twigspike claimed to have known Alderheart, I don't believe that senile old elder. She never knew him! She's imagining things, as always. Lionstar was rumoured to have descended from Firestar, but he never confirmed this. Firestar, Sandstorm, Squirrelflight, Alderheart, Sparkpelt, Needletail and all the rest- they never existed."
The yellow tabby snarled and his long, pointed fangs glistened with fresh blood.
"They did exist!" he growled. Moon raked her claws across his flank.
"Say that again," he challenged. The tabby fell silent and the dark-pelted tom resumed his tale.
"I believed in Skypaw's tale at first. We moved to a new territory. I was apprenticed to an old warrior named Cherrytail. Nightkit was apprenticed to Molewhisker, and I was happy for her. She was, after all, my friend. Cherrytail and Molewhisker were littermates. Cherrytail claimed to have mentored Sparkpelt and Molewhisker claimed to have mentored Alderheart. I snorted at this.
'They are not real cats,' I said.
'Of course they are!' Cherryfall hissed. Nightpaw shook her head.
'They're only stories. Mother said so.' I nodded in agreement. Lizardwing, Nightpaw's mother, had told us that even she didn't believe, though we'd all been told that Alderheart and this Jayfeather had been at her mother's kitting. Her mother, of course, was Twigspike. After many moons, it was our warrior assessment. Nightpaw was even better than me at this time, but I ignored it. I would become a warrior anyway. Lionstar gave Nightpaw the name of Nightmoon. I eagerly awaited my warrior name. I didn't get it."
The yellow tabby took a pace back.
"I've heard about you," he replied shakily. "You're that nameless ThunderClan warrior." The dark-pelted tom snorted and placed his forepaw in front of him.
"Of course you have!" he said arrogantly. "ShadowClan cats like you have."
"I'm not ShadowClan," growled the tabby angrily. The dark-pelted tom's eyes widened in surprise.
"Really," he said sarcastically and returned to his tale.
"I was named many, many moons later. By then, that idiot Skypaw was Skyfall and he was the deputy of WindClan. My warrior name was Sparrowclaw. By then, Cherryfall had died and Molewhisker was a senile old elder. Nightmoon was the Clan deputy, but she knew how much I wanted it. She told Lionstar that she no longer wanted the position. Surprised, the golden tabby had appointed me deputy. He obviously trusted me. He trusted me so much, that he told me he only had two lives left. I deliberately made my patrols run into WindClan's. Border skirmishes started. A full-out battle occurred. When Lionstar yowled for my help, I ignored him. He lost a life in that battle. He would have died, too, but his annoying mate Cinderheart saved him. He didn't suspect a thing, though. After all, I had taken a bad blow to the head."

The yellow tabby stood still.
"You nearly let my Clan kill your leader?"

"Finally, I trapped Lionstar. I tried to kill him, but that idiot Skyfall was headed to the moonstone for his nine lives and he stopped me. I was exiled from ThunderClan. Nightmoon left with me. After that, we changed our names. She became Moon. I became Icewave."*****
"You're- You're Icewave?" The tom's fur bushed up in fear and anger. "You destroyed the Clans!" He launched himself at the dark tom, who sidestepped and clawed at the tabby's already cut flank. The tom fell, panting, to the ground. Icewave moved closer and breathed into the WindClan tom's ear.
"You should know better than to mess with me," he slit the tom's throat, "Twistedhawk."
Here is the fan fiction, Icewave.
