"She's got the right build," Remus piped up softly, sending a reassuring smile to his friends. "She'd be quicker than the others since she's so small, they'd never see her coming." Peering over Sirius' shoulder, Victoria silently listened in on their conversation, finding their bickering to be amusing. Silver smiled happily as Remus stood up for her, and winked at James. He went a little flustered at the action, stammering over his words. 'Fine! Fine, but you have to go to tryouts okay? It's not up to me, I'm not captain yet.' 'Yet?' Silver grinned. 'Don't try and take my title, woman.' James warned, pointing a finger at her. 'Oh, Honey, I wouldn't dare.' Silver replied, fluttering her eyelashes, a little of her American accent slipping out as she spoke. Sirius grinned at her flirty teasing, then glanced up at the board. Just last year, he, Remus and James had been horrified whenever silver had flirted with them- or any girl, cooties, yknow?- but it was evident they'd gotten over it. In fact, he could clearly see that they wanted to be flirted with now. James was most especially infatuated with Lily. He and silver would never be a thing- he was too into Lily- but it was still funny as hell to see how embarrassed he got around her. Sirius looked over at Victoria, noting the differences between the two gryffindor women. 'Are you coming to watch Quidditch tryouts?' He asked her, tilting her head. He didn't take her for a player; but hey, appearances can be decieving.

Remus' felt his cheeks burn slightly as he listened to their flirty banter, and he leaned back in his chair quietly as he took in what Prongs was saying. "And you'll be careful, won't you Silver?" He finally managed to pipe in, although his voice held genuine concern. She was his best friend, he couldn't imagine anything bad ever happening to her. No matter how tough she was, Remus still felt the desire to protect her.
"Me?" Victoria asked in surprise, laughing softly under her breath. "I'd be a lousy audience member, I haven't watched a Quidditch game since my first year. I'm afraid I can't remember any of the rules. All I know is its history." Turning to meet his close gaze, her smile faltered slightly and she nervously stated, "It only took three and a half seconds for Seeker Roderick Plumpton to catch the snitch in what would be the shortest Quidditch match in history."

Silver turned to look at the werewolf, and offered him a gentle and warm smile, placing a hand on his knee. 'Of course I will, moony. Besides; I'd rather get hurt in quidditch than at home.' She grinned, Sirius chuckling at her morbid joke. 'I promise, I'll be fine- I'm very good at it, if I do say so myself~' Sirius grinned down at Victoria as she spouted a quidditch fact. 'That's pretty damn impressive.' He concluded. 'I wonder if Silver could beat that.' He laughed.

"Oh, are you now? I don't recall ever seeing you on a broom," Remus said, his heart beating rapidly when her hand found his knee. He decided to ignore her morbid comment for now.
"While statistically improbable, I do encourage your positive outlook on life," She sputtered, silently cursing herself for this awkward spell.

"While statistically improbable, I do encourage your positive outlook on life," She sputtered, silently cursing herself for this awkward spell. 'Oh, I can ride brooms.' Silver casually replied, turning her attention to the front, once more allowing Remus to drown in her innuendos and wonder in which context she was speaking of. Sirius burst out laughing at Victoria's words, grinning at her, highly amused. 'You highly encourage... my positive outlook on life.' He repeated, before glancing with amusement at the others, then back at her. 'I suppose I'll just have to keep being optimistic then.'

"Bloody hell," Remus mumbled before muttering to James, "You heard that too?"
Blushing gently, she ducked her head down and stated simply, "Well I prefer it over your normal brooding self. I would much rather hear you laugh."

"Bloody hell," Remus mumbled before muttering to James, "You heard that too?" Blushing gently, she ducked her head down and stated simply, "Well I prefer it over your normal brooding self. I would much rather hear you laugh." ((Sorry Liz)) James nodded nervously, gaze set very firmly on the professor instead of on Silver, rather flustered, before he grinned at Remus. 'get in there, mate.' He said, out of earshot of Silver, who was scribbling notes now. Sirius grinned and looked away. 'Well, you've come to the right place, Victoria, because I really don't brood.' 'Yes you do.' Silver snorted, sitting up to look at him. 'Okay, maybe a little. But still! I'm the life of this party.' 'Suuuure you are.' James nodded, rolling his eyes. 'As much life as you are, I'm still the guy holding this group together.' He winked at them, and silver shook her head. 'What does that make me? A wet mop?' 'The legs of the operation.' Sirius cheekily responded, and silver rather promptly launched her quil at him, smacking him cleanly in the forehead with the nib and creating a perfectly round splot of ink. He hissed and grabbed his head with pain. 'B*tch!' He hissed under his breath. 'As*hole.' She replied, sticking out her tongue. 'Please don't start, you two, I refuse to drag you off each other again.' James quickly said. 'Last time wasn't pretty. Do you really want a repeat?' The two grumpily glowered at each other, before Sirius sulkily got to work, and silver huffily continued making notes.

Laughing softly in disbelief, Victoria looked back down at her notes and hurriedly began to scribble down her professor's lecture. She only just passed these classes because she was so well with the written parts of class.
Remus took meticulous care of his notes, making sure to get down everything their professor said, you never knew what you would need to know for OWLS.
(Shoot this is so short, I'm sorry I haven't been on in so long, I just haven't found the time}}

Eventually the class ended and they were permitted to leave for lunch. 'I'm starving.' Sirius groaned, packing up his things and slinging his bag lazily over his shoulder, the marauders starting to walk in a pack down the corridor, most students nervously making way for them to get past. Silver shook her head at his complaints. 'You're always hungry.'

With her nose in her book, Victoria wandered behind the group blindly until Remus grew tired of her continuously bumping into him and put his arm around her, guiding her towards the table. Gracing him a small smile of gratitude, Remus smiled back gently before returning his attention to his fellow mauraders. "He's a growing boy Silver, let him eat."
