OK now that i'm on PC here's a hopefully more informative post.
Some general Ouija dos and don'ts...
DO:
-Take it seriously. Don't ask stupid questions and don't ask things you don't want the answer to
-Be respectful. Insulting things is never a great idea, even if it is a lowly evil spirit.
-If circles and salt and all that are your cup of tea, do whatever protective steps you deem necessary. As I've said, not my forte BUT I do usually keep an ankh or my Italian horn pendulum (which is host to my angelic guide) nearby or on the board.
-Do it with someone else if you can
-End the session immediately by forcing the planchette to goodbye if you get uncomfortable
-Warm the planchette up by moving it in slow circles before you begin asking questions
-Store the board and planchette separately if you can when not in use
DON'T:
-Allow the planchette to count through the numbers or the alphabet in any kind of pattern, backwards or forwards
-Allow the planchette to do figure eights
-Take your fingertips off the planchette
-Allow the planchette to leave the board during the session
-Be scared. If you find that you are very nervous or frightened, end the session. Good things will not come of that.
As for a certain evil demon...
1: If you're good at sensing presences, you will get a very heavy, stifling, dark vibe. Yknow, classic evil spirit sort of thing.
2: The planchette will move in a pattern between the M and A or the Z and O if he's around
3: In my personal experience, lots of "different" spirits that give their name as various three letter initials are heralds of his presence
4: If you get him, terminate the session immediately and cleanse the board, or better yet get a new one. Once he's on a board he seems to be all that comes through unless action is taken. While tales of possessions and people dying and bad luck are all paranoia and scary stories, he IS still a spirit and you want to take the usual steps you would take when dealing with one, and be cautious. I usually rub black salt on the board and tattle on him to mamma (Tiamat) and he'll heck right off.
Ouija isn't all dangerous, though it can be. I don't use mine too often but it's excellent for honing your psychic abilities if you do it right. Here's my boards, the rectangular one is my old board and the circular one is a WIP one I'm working on:
sta.sh/22bhtzhz5urq?edit=1NOW, as for what I've been up to:
-Did a ritual involving the demon Clauneck. Not comfortable outright saying what it was about, and truthfully you're not supposed to say exactly what you asked for or what was involved anyways. It was one of the most intensely altered states I've been in for awhile, and despite the intensity it was a very calming experience. Super friendly and helpful vibes, my hand would often feel warm when I touched his sigil. Totally not used to the kind of energy as I've dealt with mostly gods, which have a very very very high vibration, compared to demons which are more like us. Really different feel that I have to get used to, but overall a great experience and it's prompted me to want to get back into regular ritual work.
-Also said hello to the demon Pazuzu. Poor guy gets
such bad publicity from the Exorcist movie. Contrary to things such as wikipedia articles he's also quite human friendly. I didn't get into as intense of an altered state, although it wasn't really a ritual and more of a "hello hi i'm here how are u." Suuuuuper mellow dude, felt kind of tingly while I was talking to him. Interested to see where this is going, will keep you posted.
-Lastly, had a chat with Thoth after a long time of radio silence from the gods- which was uplifting. He always seems to get excited when he's treated like one of somebody's "main" deities and not just "that one guy you come to ONLY when you need help with writing or homework or something."
AND SINCE THIS POST IS ALREADY SUPER LONG:
Def believe in it. I recognize them through a more "human" feel to the energy, although I have limited experience because I've never lived in a truly haunted house. I'm not sure WHY ghosts/spirits haunt places though, not my area of expertise. I'd love to hear them stories :0
