Leaves rustled above your head as you padded along the forest floor, your paws dragging along the ground in exhaustion. You grew more tired with each pawstep, and decided that you needed to rest. You noticed an old fox den, but the fox scent smelled so stale, it was barely there. You wearily lied down and closed your eyes, letting sleep drift over you.

As you opened your eyes, you found yourself in a clearing. In the center of the scene was a brown tabby tom cat. He sat tall with a sense of authority, and you felt meek in his presence.
"Come, now," the tom meowed in a clear voice. "I am Adderstar. you seem like a strong one.... Anyways, I am the first leader of AdderClan, and maybe you could join my Clan. It's not far from here—Just follow can scent to where it's the strongest, besides the border. Will you join my Clan, or coward away from my offer?"
