"Just a little." He responded quietly. "Im pretty sure i wont ever be able to have a good nights sleep again." He told her quietly picking at the grass.

(Everyone just woke up and headed outside.)
"Yeah," Theresa said with a sigh. She sat down next to him, feeling it would be impolite to continue standing. "Do you have any idea what we're doing today?" She watched Christian pluck at the grass, exposing the soft earth underneath. Earth. That was what she was: a master of dirt and rocks and sediment and all the inorganic things that served as the foundation of the planet she called home. It was a lot of ground to cover, and yet at first, she had felt dissatisfied with her assigned element. It was the same dissatisfaction she had felt on the first day of her mandatory freshman earth science class, when she found out she would not be studying ecology and the natural environment—which were right up her alley—but rather tectonic plates, volcanoes, and the rock cycle. In hindsight, she was glad she had decided to pay attention to the lectures (as boring as they were) rather than use the class period to catch up on sleep. She had been envious of Poppy and her elegant plant powers, and how nimble and full of life she was when she took on her other form. Theresa was the complete opposite: slow, lumbering, maladroit. But what she lacked in grace, she made up for in power. When transformed, Theresa was an impenetrable fortress of strength. She could endure volleys of attacks and still be able to strike back, if her swifter companions didn't do so first. She was a protector; a shield. While she wasn't usually the one to take down the bad guys and save the day, she was still an indispensable member of the team.

Christian shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe looking for some more shelter or looking for respurces." Its not like his powers would be any use. Theresa's strength could helplift bog or heavy things. And Poppy could help grow food and other things. All he could do was stip a fire or make a skating rink.

(I'm here!)
Poppy looked up as Christian and Theresa had settled down a little ways from her. She smiled softly and then rose to her feet and stretched out a bit, brushing a hand through her fiery hair and glancing out towards the forest around them. It was whispering just as all the plants were and she smiled at the warmth and the life force she felt from the plants. It was a strange feeling, unlike being around another person or animal. The plants seemed to just slowly seep energy and calm, it was pleasant and Poppy hadn't quite noticed it until now. Though the he|| they'd gone through within the laboratories would haunt Poppy forever, she couldn't help but be a little grateful for this new power she had. But, then again, it was this exact power that was causing them to be hunted down and possibly killed over. Pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind again Poppy headed over to the others quietly. She settled in across from the two and smiled lightly, "A new shelter would be a good idea, this house looks like it'll fall down on us during the next big gust." she commented lightly as she tangled her fingers into the grass.

"Oh," said Theresa, sounding disappointed. She continued to sit, taking Christian's response as a mere suggestion rather than a command, or at least something that could be put off until later. Her eyes wandered over to the city skyline again. She would have liked to tell the others how badly she wanted to return to civilization, but she didn't dare speak up. They'd just tell her she was out of her mind.

(Oh my gosh, we posted at almost exactly the same time. ) Theresa turned, noticing they had been joined by Poppy. "You're right." She considered giving Michiko, the Wind Elemental, a playful warning, but then she realized she hadn't seen her around at all that day. She must have been tired after serving as the early morning lookout and gone to sleep somewhere. Someone would have to find her and let her know they were hitting the road again. (Sorry for all the short posts. ;-

Poppy smiled lightly and then nodded as she looked to the ground, "As for resources, I can help as much as I know how to." she told them lightly as her eyes flicked down to the ground. As of right now she hadn't been able to grow plants without having an example one there. But, now their lives depended a bit on her ability to at least produce a little food. Poppy would have to work hard at it and she looked forward to the challenge. Then she looked back up at the two and tipp her head lightly to the side, "We should think about slipping into the city to steal some provisions too though. Clothing, blankets, and basic medicines." she suggested, "I know it's risky and dangerous, but if only a few of us go, there's a smaller risk of us being caught." She explained. Truly, Poppy shared the same wish as Theresa, she just wanted to go back and live in the city, and share her talents perhaps. But, that would result in ridicule and a backlash that would more than likely end in her grave. For now, all they could possibly manage were nighttime sprees of theft. But, that would be good enough for Poppy.
(You're fine!)

"That would be a good idea Poppy. But then theres also the risk that the guards are wandering all over the place looking for us. And it would look a little weird with a couple people stocking up on blankets and such." He said quietly. He wasnt the ordering type but he definetly dodnt want to be taken again. "Im sure we might be able to get away with a few clothes and maybe some seeds for you to try growing." He suggested.

Bartleby walked over to join the others. Despite his eased and confident steps, his eyes were covered by a blindfold, which he never ever removed. The tall male came to settle, saying "The lightning speaks to me. No government guards are actually in the city at the moment. If we head out to nose around freely, more or less, we better do it now." The skies were brewing with storms, yet he commanded that it never start. Instead, Bartleby told the lightning to stay in the sky, being able to see through any bolts or flashes of thunder. Only when he gave word did they leap down to Earth, so he could get a brief, better, look of the areas.

Poppy smiled lightly as Bartelby showed up and then clapped happily in agreement, "I will stay behind if someone needs to." she offered with a smile to him, "If you stop to grab seed, just grab the basic; beans, peas, corn, and carrots, things like that" she told Christian and Theresa with a smile.
