"Oh!" Emeraldpaw wanted to smack herself in the head, "Sure!" she looked over to Mosspaw, "Lets go find Dawnlight!" She waited for him to reply.

"Okay. I'll go check the warriors' den," Mosspaw said, before racing off towards the warriors' den. Mosspaw peeked into the den. "Dawnlight?" he called.

Once she didn't answer, Mosspaw scanned the camp is search of Dawnlight. He soon saw her dozing in the sunlight. Running up to where Dawnlight was, Mosspaw gently prodded her awake.

Emeraldpaw stopped by the riverbank. She turned to face Dawnlight. "Ok, so how do you do it?" She didn't mean to be impatient but she wanted to get on with it already.

Mosspaw excitedly bounded out of the camp's entrance. He felt like an energetic flame.
He headed to the riverbank with Dawnlight and Emeraldpaw. Mosspaw looked down at the river. "The first step to catching fish is waiting for a fish to leap out," Mosspaw demonstrated. |

Emeraldpaw tried to copy Mosspaw, but since she had never done it before, so it was hard. Suddenly she saw the shiny body of a fish leap out of the water. "Ah! What do I do?" she said as she scrabbled her claws at the fish.

"Next, you swipe out you paw and bat the fish to the land. After that, you must kill the fish. That was a good try," Mosspaw said.

Emeraldpaw hissed in fury as the fish landed safely back in the water. She flicked her tail in impatients. Just then another fish flew out of the water. She hissed in surprise. She quickly jabbed a paw behind it to bat it onto land. The fish landed on land and Emerald killed with a bite. "Whew! That was tiring!" She said as she licked one of her paws.

Mosspaw looked into the water, waiting for a fish to leap out. When a fish jumped out of the water, Mosspaw swiftly batted it to the riverbank, though the fish flopped back into the river before he could kill it. Mouse dung, he thought to himself.

Emeraldpaw meowed in laughter. "Come on Mosspaw! Try your hardest! I know you can do it!" Emeraldpaw felt as excited as a kit.

Mosspaw tried again, looking into the water and waiting for the moment when a fish would spring. After what seemed like moons, a shape flew out of the water. Mosspaw quickly stuck out his paw and successfully batted the fish to land. In less than a heartbeat, Mosspaw bent down and killed the fish with a bite to the neck. "Caught one," he meowed.
