"Thank you, Mosspaw. I'll let you know now why I wanted you all here. I'm trying to figure out some group training sessions so I can assess everyone's skills so far in their training. I'm going to have you organize yourselves by how long you've been training. So I can assess those of like skill together.

Basilwhisker followed his apprentice. "After you find the stick and set it by the nursery go to Darkstar and Mosspaw. I will get the moss. " He told her. He went to do the softest moss he could and possible some bird feathers to make an extra soft nest.

Emeraldpaw nodded again. "Ok Basilwhisker, but what should I tell Darkstar and Mosspaw?" Emeraldpaw lashed her tail back and forth in excitement. She was excited to meet another apperntice!

"Tell Darkstar that Snowdapple is having her kits but that we have it covered. And then listen to whatever she tells you." Basilwhisker said before going towards the stream and small pools near it.

Emeraldpaw turned and dashed of to find a good stick. She trotted around the riverbank and finally found one. It was smooth and straight, perfect for comfort. She picked it up gently in her jaws. She then turned and dashed back to camp. She stopped by the nursery and dropped off the stick, she hoped it would be good use to Snowdapple. She padded over to Darkstar and told her exactly what her mentor had told her to say. "Darkstar, Snowdapple is having her kits but we have it covered. We're making a nice nest for her with moss and sticks."

Mosspaw saw Emeraldpaw pad up to Darkstar. He walked towards her, waiting for her to finish speaking to Darkstar so he could talk about what Darkstar had told him.

"Sure," Mosspaw answered, before turning to Emeraldpaw. "Darkstar wants to see where we and the other apprentices are in our training so she is trying round all of us up. Older apprentices are closer to her, and younger apprentices are closer to the nursery," he explained.

Emeraldpaw lashed her tail. "Guess I'll be the closest to the nursery then! How about you?" Emeraldpaw very well knew that she was the youngest apperentice in the clan, she had just joined after all.

"I'll probably be right next to you," Mosspaw replied. But maybe once Darkstar sees all the things I've learned, she'll let me skip a moon of training, he added silently.

Emeraldpaw looked at him, slightly confused. "Oh? I thought you would have been an apperentice for a while at least! Ok, lets go." Emeraldpaw padded up close to the nursery. She was mildly disappointed. By the tom's look he had seemed like he had been an apperentice for a while.

"Good now we will have to wait for everyone else." Darkstar looked at the two apprentices.
As Snowdapple waited for Robinear she heard Emeraldpaw drop the stick outside the nursery she grabbed it and layed back down.

Emeraldpaw ducked her head. She had barely done anything. "Um...I went hunting with Basilwhisker? Does that count?" She was embarrassed. She felt she had done so little. This was her first day as an apprentice!
