Dawnlight looked around "hey Mosspaw do you want to go on a border patrol or something?" Basílwhisker shook his head at the apprentice's impatience. "First you need to calm down some so we are going to go to a clearing to make sure your form is good. We don't want you to scare away prey when you come so close to catching it. " He finds a nearby clearing. Emeraldpaw sighed. She wanted to get to hunting right away! He didn't know how excited she was!... Well, maybe Basilwhisker was right...Maybe she did need to practice some more. "Ok, Basilwhisker..." Emeraldpaw followed her mentor. Maybe if I prove my skills to him then he'll take me out to hunt! Emeraldpaw wanted to dash right to the clearing, but she knew her mentor probably wouldn't like that, so she walked side by side with him. |

Basilwhisker saw Emeraldpaw's restrant and nodded. "Okay show me how you think you would stalk a mouse" he instructed the apprentice.

Emeraldpaw mind raced, ok how do you do it? Oh, yeah, that's right! She dropped into the hunter's crouch and began to stalk forward slowly, stepping lightly. After a few steps she sat up and looked at her mentor. "Um...Was that good?" Her voice creaked out in worry. What if she hadn't done it right? How would that look to her mentor? Oh, she couldn't bare to think of it. She closed her eyes and waited for Basilwhisker's response.

Mosspaw padded after Dawnlight as they headed out of camp. He began to think of exploring more of the territory, and he started to feel as energetic as a glowing fire.

Basilwhisker watched as Emeraldpaw stalked forward. She moved slow and her paws were set carefully. "Just bring your tail up a little higher so it can't drag the ground easily. Now let's see your pounce." he said misswarriorsDawnlight headed for the border furthest from the other clan territories hoping to find something new. (I was thinking somewhere out here where there aren't any clans nearby we could find out own kind of moon pool kind of thing but we could use some more territory description so throw stuff out if you think of omething good.) |

Mosspaw continued to follow Dawnlight. Once he realized that they were headed towards the border furthest from the other clans, the fire of excitement in Mosspaw's head started to glow brighter.
(I like that idea.)

Robinear was inside her den drying some burdocks, after cleaning dirt off of them.
Cedar Paw scented the air again, finding nothing he began to padded forward.

"Keep an eye out for anything interesting. " Dawnlight says as she walks further into the forest. (It's okay.) Snowdapple gets up and goes to the medicine cat den. "Robinear, I'm having really bad pain are the kits coming?" Tawnyfire(I still have to figure out exactly what it will be but I'm gonna have a prophecy based around her going to be kit Gazekit but I'm not sure what yet.)) |

Emeraldpaw gulped nervously, she would have to pounce?! Oh, she was scared now, her tail quivered fiercely but she had no fear in her voice when she spoke to her mentor. "Yes Basilwhisker. She dropped into the hunter's crouch, keeping her tail high and stepping lightly. After a few steps she stopped and then lightly sprang from her paws and pounced, landing lightly on the ground. She heaved with fright. "Was..That...Good? she asked in a fear croaked voice, if she wasn't perfect then she would be mad at herself. Everything had to be perfect!

"That was good. I think we can go out and see if you can scent anything now." Basilwhisker could see that the apprentice was nervous and hoped he could calm her fears she had done well.

Emeraldpaw breathed in relief. Yes! She had impressed her mentor! "Oh, thanks Basilwhisker! Thank you thank you thank you!" she bounced on her paws with gratitude. Yay! Yay! Yay! Her day was going great! But she wondered when she could meet the other apprentices...

Mosspaw padded forward, looking around at the scenery. As Dawnlight and he headed on, Mosspaw realized that they were heading into territory that he hadn't explored yet. So far, he only saw trees and bushes, but the thought of what he might find made Mosspaw's fire of excitement reach higher still.
(Okay. I can roleplay one of Snowdapple's kits if you need me to.)

Basilwhisker smiled at the kit the kit like excitement in the apprentice. "Calm down and then we can go sniff put some prey. You can take your catch to the elders den and then to the nursery8f you get alot."
Dawnl8ght felt like tjey were gong to find find something out here. "Do you almost feel like something is pulling pulling you paws forward?" she said lol at her clanmate.
(I feel like I can handle three buf but if you want to make 9ne or two to add t9 the ler or juat more characters in general you you can)

"Yes we may even find a way to reach the cats who were the original Phoenixclan. Or maybe a nice big clearing where some of the apprentices can come for assessment by Darkstar. Who knows." Dawnlight was very excited too. She bounced for a couple steps before realizing and forced herself to walk normally.

Emeraldpaw nodded quickly and ran off into the forest to sniff out some prey. She hoped she would bring a lot back!

Emeraldpaw looked behind her. She frowned when she saw her mentor. Oh, come on Basilwhisker! You don't need to watch me all the time! She flicked her tail in annoyance. She raised her nose to the air, after a second she scented a mouse. She detected it coming from a tree left off her. She dropped into the hunter's crouch and began stalking the little creature. When she got close to the mouse she pounced, and missed. She hissed and flicked her tail. Oh come on! My mentor's watching! She began to sniff the air for another scent of mouse.

Basilwhisker walked away knowing me made Emeraldpaw at least a little nervous. I'll go catch a rabbit or something he thought.
Dawnlight started to lose her balance as Mosspaw caught her paw. She hit the ground and waited to see if Mosspaw would come forawrd.

Emeraldpaw began gathering up her kill. She had caught a lot but not as much as she had wanted. She carried at all in her mouth and made her way back to Basilwhisker. She showed him what she had caught and then made her way back to camp. She dropped some in the prey pile and took the rest to the elders. She then made her way back to Basilwhisker. "Hey Basilwhisker, do you think you could tell me who the other apperentices are? Also I really want to meet one so could you introduce me to one of them?" Emeraldpaw was so excited to meet another apprentice!

Basilwhisker looked at the apprentice. "I'm not sure where any of them are right now. I think Cedarpaw is out with Darkstar still and I heard that Mosspaw was with Dawnlight. When I know that someone is nearby I'll let you know." Snowdapple nodded and went back to the nursery. She wasn't sure who to ask to help Robinear. Then she saw Basilwhisker and Emeraldpaw( misswarriors). "Can you help Robinear with whatever she needs? Hey Pixie@drizzlewhisker) I'm having my kits Robinear might need help." (Lol stick gathering I'm guessing and playing with kits no real details will happen lol we should keep it towards the books so it's still appropriate)) |
