Hello ! If you've stumbled upon this I can only assume you want to rp as well c:
My post length varies, I usually match, but I'd like it if you could do at least two paragraphs per post (I understand having low muse, but I'd prefer more over less to keep muse up).
I'm in the mood right now for romance and adventure, but I'm more than willing to do a few group friendship plots if they're suggested! I'm not going to do duplicate plots at least right now, I usually get bored doing the same plot twice.
For relationships I'd prefer mxf or mxm for the moment, but I generally am willing to rp either gender.
Activity wise I usually check in at least once a day, but I'd like it if you could post at least twice a week
I'm open to plot suggestions as well!
Plots
1. Rivals -- Harry Potter
So this plot would revolve around two characters from different houses. Both have hated each other since the beginning of their first year and have been fiercely competitive ever since. Both play quidditch, but they play different roles. That doesn't stop them from constantly berating each other during a game. Muse A and B have competed in many many things, from grades to points, to friends and dates. Neither can truly remember what caused this rivalry (each have a different reason which we can discuss) and most people that knew them when it started said it was over the dumbest thing. The two of them have never had to work together, until they both end up trapped deep in the dungeons under the school.
For this plot it would happen after the original series and could involve next generation characters.
Muse A --
Muse B --
2. Only In StarClan -- Warriors
This plot will revolve around a medicine cat and a warrior who have been best friends since they were kits. Muse A is a fiercely loyal cat who will do anything to protect their clan and their best friend, Muse B. When they were apprentices Muse A had always been close to Muse B, and tended to follow them around. It wasn't until Muse B changed to medicine cat apprentice that their friendship wavered. Muse B had no idea why Muse A was suddenly being so distant, but the two remained friends. Their roles kept them busy and they continued to grow more and more a part, to the point where Muse B thought that Muse A hated them. It isn't until Muse A is sent to protect Muse B as they gather herbs outside of their territory that they begin to rekindle their relationship. Except this time Muse B realizes that maybe they didn't want a friend in Muse A. Maybe they wanted more.
( I have an idea for this which we can include or not, but it essentially is that Muse A becomes deputy in the course of Muse A and Muse B getting close again which would cause drama and stuff )

3. Not You -- Percy Jackson
This plot is about two halfbloods (or one halfblood and a god made mortal like in Apollo's Trials) that have never spoken for more than five minutes, but Muse A already hates Muse B's guts. Muse A has been at Camp Halfblood since they were ten, and has only been on two quests. They're well known around camp and are usually the go to person if you're in trouble. They know every nook and cranny in camp and are very good at fighting, but they've never been claimed. Muse B has no memory of any of their life until they stepped foot into Camp Halfblood. But they've had that same event happen over twenty times. The same three days keep repeating and repeating, until they get everything memorized and down pat. Everyone thinks their a prodigy, everyone except for Muse A. The one thing that remains the same each repeat is that Muse B is instantly claimed by one of the Big Three. After repeating the same events twenty times Muse B finally breaks the chain when Chiron invites them to lead a quest after seeing how skilled Muse B is. This quest was led by Muse A in every other timeline. Muse B doesn't know why the chain suddenly broke, until two days later after it was meant to reset, Muse A dies. And then the timeline resets again, but this time it is from the moment Chiron assigned the quest.
For the quest I'm not really sure what it should be, but I figured we could decide this together. And why the timeline repeats is also something we can decide

I usually match when it comes to post size, but my length varies quite a lot. Some days I have long posts, sometimes I can barely manage two paragraphs. As long as we keep things exciting I'll probably be fine, however.

[ Speckledhawk ]
Speckledhawk paced back and forth in camp, his long plumed tail flicking. His amber gaze was firmly fixed on the dirt beneath his paws as he worked up the courage to take the final steps into the medicine den. Earlier that day Embershine, the deputy, cornered him and convinced him to go on this ridiculous patrol. Well it wasn't ridiculous, it was ridiculous he had to go. It wasn't that he was above this sort of thing, no, it was almost the exact opposite.
He was afraid. Which wasn't something he'd ever admit lightly, he was always proud of his courage in battle and on patrols. He couldn't quite fathom how this of all things terrified him, enough to where he was rooted to the spot every time he had worked up the courage to even take a single step towards the medicine den. So there he was, staring down the dark entrance. He saw a few warriors stare at him curiously, snickering as they passed him. He wanted desperately to turn around and claw them, or tell them off or something. Instead he stood there, his ears burning.
He gulped as his gaze caught with Embershine again, her cool gaze burning his. He shook his head forcefully and bounded forward without a second thought. He stumbled slightly into the medicine den, and he nearly turned tail and ran as his eyes struggled to adjust. His voice caught in his throat as he peered around the den, searching for Wintersky. Speckledhawk was lucky on the front that when he was nervous, it was usually difficult to tell. He usually tended to come off as aloof because he tended to simply clamp his jaws shut the moment he doubted himself. He liked this much more than being thought of as a coward.

Wintersky rummaged through the collection of herbs hidden in the holes dug into the clay walls of his den, sorting through them with a solemn expression. Many were dying, and leafbare was approaching. I hope my "escort" gets here soon, before I forget which herbs I need, he thought impatiently, twitching his brown tail with an obvious anxiousness.
The cream-and-brown tom ran through the list of herbs once more, etching them into his brain deep enough that they'd stay there for at least the rest of the day.
After the tom knew what he needed to collect, he took the shriveled herbs in his maw and turned to pad out of the den. Of course his former best friend decided that very moment to step inside, and they slammed right into each other.
This caused quite the embarrassing yelp of surprise to slip out of Wintersky's light brown throat before he could stop it, and all of the herbs scattered everywhere.
"Oh!" He leaped back, his pelt hot with embarrassment.
"Uh, hi Speckledhawk," he muttered, flattening his ears and lowering his tail slightly. Great job, Wintersky, he thought, quickly straightening up.
"I was just about to toss the old herbs so we could go gather new ones," he explained nervously, feeling a familiar twinge in his stomach as the sight of the handsome warrior.

Speckledhawk jolted slightly as something bumped into him. He immediately jumped back at the yelp, his claws naturally unsheathing. He blinked a few more times and his eyes finally adjusted to see Wintersky standing anxiously in front of him. Speckledhawk swore at himself in thought, of course it had been him. He shouldn't immediately jump into warrior attack mode, but he couldn't help it. He forced himself to smile as cordially as he could, but he was positive that he still looked nervous. Speckledhawk took a calming breath, but his heart didn't stop jack hammering in his chest.
"H-hey," Speckledhawk spluttered. He cursed himself once more, not daring to speak for a moment, afraid his voice would quiver. He frowned slightly as an unwelcome thought bubbled up. His yelp was cute. Speckledhawk shook his head, these were the same thoughts that used to plague him as an apprentice. That'd been a long time ago, now they weren't really even friends. "Alright, sorry I'm late. Some apprentices were causing trouble in camp," Speckledhawk was surprised at how easily the lie slid off of his tongue. At least it was a good excuse, as he was now a mentor. He leaned down and he was comforted slightly to feel the sunlight on his russet back. He picked up a few of the herbs and gathered them into a pile. "Wharea re we gafing?" Speckledhawk blinked, realizing his voice was muffled and he dropped the herbs back into a pile, embarrassment prickling across him."Where are we going again?"

If cats could blush, Wintersky would be doing so quite obviously. He quickly turned to drag all the scattered herbs into a pile, grateful for his old friend's assistance.
"Well, uh, we're g-g-g - ugh!" He took a deep breath, trying not to stutter. As a young cat, he had a terrible stutter, which had since faded, but it always popped back up when he was frightened or nervous. He couldn't help it, and that frustrated him to a point where he sometimes wished he could just stop talking.
"We're going wherever we need to go," he stated flatly, not wanting to get into it in case his trippy tongue decided to act up again.
The cream tom hastily snatched up the pile of herbs and pushed past Speckledhawk, not wanting to talk anymore, lest he say something stupid.
Wintersky marched across the clearing, keeping up a brisk pace. He wasn't sure if it was from annoyance or anxiety, but he decided it was probably a mixture of both.
As he neared the steep entrance he slowed, unsheathing his claws so that he could climb up the rocky pathway.
After he made it up the path and out of the camp, he stopped, giving Speckledhawk time to catch up.
I shouldn't have been rude, he thought, regret seeping into his pelt and making his ears heat up. He twitched his tail anxiously, eager to get a move on, yet nervous in the presence of the cat he barely spoke to.

Speckledhawk wasn't sure how to feel about Wintersky's reaction, it hadn't been nearly as bad as he had expected. He couldn't help but be a little happy about the fact that Wintersky had responded so strongly. Although, it wasn't like Wintersky had wanted to see him and he had been willing to greet him immediately like an old friend. It was something though, Speckledhawk couldn't stand the idea of Wintersky simply not caring. It was selfish and he knew it was, but he couldn't quite help it. Speckledhawk bounded after Wintersky as he left and a spark of mischeif lit up his eyes.
"Even if it's outside of our territory? Speckledhawk asked, careful to keep his voice completely natural as to not immediately give way to his motives. Speckledhawk wanted to say that he would protect him even then, but he kept his mouth shut. He felt a shiver crawl over his back as he realized how calm he felt beside him, and how naturally he had replied. He fell a step back for a moment, before catching up again, his heart racing.
This was natural of him. Of course he wanted to be friends with him again, that was it. |

{Hey, sorry, I'm back}
Wintersky shrugged, trying to look cool, but he was failing miserably. He continued walking, his paws shaky as the meadow came into view. Memories of him and Speckledhawk bounding across the soft, spongy grass and weaving through brightly coloured buds flashed in his mind, and a feeling of longing pulled at him.
The medicine cat quickly pushed those thoughts away, forcing them into the back of his mind as he attempted to get back on topic.
"I don't know if we're going to need to cross boundaries, but medicine cats are allowed to pass through to get herbs for their clans, so it is always a possibility," he muttered, focusing so greatly on not stuttering that he didn't spot the rock right in front of his paw.
The tom tripped, tumbling down the hill like a young kitten with heavy paws.
At the bottom, the tom leaped to his paws, shaking out his fur. His pelt was burning with embarrassment!
Great, now he thinks you're even more mousebrained than before! he thought nervously, his ears flattened against his skull.

Speckledhawk was mildly surprised by his reply, he had expected him to immediately deny him or squawk at him that no, they couldn't leave their territory. He was used to that with the other warriors, but then again Wintersky was different. A refreshing sort of different, like a cool pond on a warm summer's day. It was intriguing, and Speckledhawk wanted to know more. But he knew he was going too far, he could feel it that he needed to stop. That he needed to back up and think, he couldn't get wrapped up in him again. Speckledhawk remembered how devastated he was when Wintersky became a medicine cat, and he couldn't go through that again. He didn't want to have to distance himself, not when talking to him felt so natural. So Speckledhawk forced himself to not reply as he wished, and instead remained silent, and pretended to keep watch.
His ear twitched slightly as he heard something fall. He jolted and his head whipped around to find Wintersky, but he didn't see him. Panic washed over Speckledhawk and he cursed himself for getting wrapped up in his thoughts. Without a second thought he bounded down the hill, following Wintersky's scent. He stumbled on some wet leaves and slid to a stop at the bottom of the hill. He saw Wintersky and relaxed slightly.
"Hey you alright?" Speckledhawk asked. Wow, you're already falling for me, was what he wanted to say.

"Y-yeah, I'm perf-perfectly fine," Wintersky responded, shaking out his stubbed paw.
"Let's get going," he rushed, turning and continuing along the imaginary path leading to his borage stocks.
The brown tom had an itching in his paws to sprint through the meadows with his old friend, but the reminder that their friendship was no longer thriving weighed him down and kept his hopes from soaring.
Does you miss what we had? he wanted to ask. But he couldn't. It wasn't that he wouldn't, because he actually couldn't bring himself to opening his jaws to speak.
Part of him wanted to ask Speckledhawk why he stopped talking to him {after all, it hurt to think that maybe the tom didn't like him anymore}, and the other half made him wonder why he cared so much.
It's because you're in love, a voice whispered, but Wintersky pushed it into the far corners of his mind, just like the rest of such thoughts.
I'm looking for borage, he reminded himself, his pelt hot.

[ Speckledhawk ] Speckledhawk was torn with how to reply, but when Wintersky immediately continued on he felt a slight pang of hurt. "That's good," Speckledhawk mumbled, even though Wintersky had already headed off. It was natural that Wintersky would hate him, he deserved it after all. He didn't let it get to him, but it was hard. He forced himself to follow after him, and busied himself with searching for any danger. On any other day, it would be lucky there wasn't anything. Today however it felt like a curse, as if StarClan was forcing him to think about everything that had happened between them.
Speckledhawk stared at Wintersky's retreating figure, searching for any sign that they could be friends. Speckledhawk shook his spotted russet and dark brown pelt, realizing he had been staring for a second too long. He bounded after Wintersky, catching up quickly enough. "What does it look like? Speckledhawk asked, partially because he wanted to help, and partially because he wanted to hear Wintersky's voice. |
