Hello! I see you've stumbled across my thread. All I ask is that you're literate, about like 20 lines at least per post. Thanks for understanding!
A guy woke up in a small, compact room with white walls and a hard, uncomfortable bed. He reached up with his metal arm, clenching his fist. He guessed it was morning, but he hadn't seen light or breathed in fresh air in a long time. Instead he was kept in this facility like an animal, causing him to sigh and let his arm hang over the side of the bed. The thin sheet was sprawled over him and he glanced over to the little window on the door, hearing voices. He stood up, walking over to the door and glancing out. They were going to experiment on him very soon, and he knew it. But today, he would escape. First, let's backtrack a bit. The guy was named Leon, and he was a runaway who stole things. After the police started coming after him using violence, he also resorted to violence to defend himself. One night long ago, he was being chased when he got in a fight with an officer. He then remembered silence as he felt their body go limp. He panicked and took off running, but he was surrounded by unfamiliar people wearing dark suits. He prepared to fight again, punching one guy as hard as he could, but froze in shock when he realized that person had taken his arm. After that his memories were all blurred, but he could hear people talking and all he could see were bright lights on him. He wasn't able to move, being strapped down to a table. When he woke up after that whole ordeal, he noticed something was different. Instead of having no arm, he had a metal one. Then day after day and eventually month after month they would do experiments on him, which lead back to where he was now. Leon, a product of the government now. He had overheard that the experiments were to try and make him suitable for upcoming wars, like have him feel no pain and cause him to be stronger than any other human or animal. Today was different however. He was determined to escape, no matter the cost.
A couple hours later, the door opened and Leon sprung to action, putting his plan to use. He immediately attacked the person, punching them hard enough so they blacked out before they had time to react. He then took off running, passing some scientists. A siren went off, meaning there was going to be a lockdown. He turned a corner, then another corner, running faster than he ever thought he could. The gate was coming down over the door he needed to get past to exit, and he powered through it, ramming his shoulder into the glass door, causing it to shatter. He ducked under it and continued running, feeling warm crimson liquid run down his body from his shoulder which he used to shatter it. But he still wasn't out. There was one more tall gate he needed to get past, but it was impossible to run through as it was more than halfway shut and too far away. So with quick thinking and a decision he hated, he decided to climb the fence that was about ten feet high and get over the barbed wire. He ran towards the fence and started climbing, but didn't go unnoticed. Some agents spotted him and shouts and gunshots split the silence of the air. Leon gritted his teeth in pain as his leg was shot, but it wasn't nearly as bad as before thanks to the experiments. He had gone through heII and back, experiencing excruciating pain that almost always caused him to black out to try and get him to have a high pain tolerance. He made it to the top of the fence, but he was obviously struggling. Now for the barbed wire. He inhaled, then held his breath as he grabbed the barbed wire with his metal arm, heaving himself up and over it, scraping himself on his hand, arm, and legs before getting over. He lost his balance and fell back, landing on his back on the ground with a loud thud. He hadn't noticed that the government had stopped shooting as was instead trying to open the gate. He forced himself to stand up and started running, holding his shoulder with his other hand and limping as quickly as he could into the trees.
He made it into the brush, where he eventually lost the agents after hiding for what seemed like ages and heading far right. He eventually made it to a city, coming from the forest and emerging into a park. By that time the sun had gone down and it was dark, so the park was closed thankfully. Leon collapsed into the grass on his stomach as a wave of nausea overcame him, and he stayed there, staring at the city ahead of him. He thought this was where he was going to die, but maybe, just maybe, something good would happen. Leon sighed in relief however, finally free from that horrible place. His tattered clothes the government had gave him, which consisted of some worn out jeans and a white t-shirt were now stained with his blood. He looked like a wreck, and he doubted anyone in their right mind would come to his aid, but he had a fraction of hope. After all, he escaped that place. Anything was possible now, according to him.
