(Hey, Bean, nice to meet you! Also, the "spoop" part of your screen name makes me smile every time! Which is weird, because as a word, it doesn't actually mean anything, it's just...I dunno! But it makes me smile.)

(Aye I'm here)
"Well well, we have a girl expert on our hands, don't we?" Quinn teased, pulling away playfully but keeping ahold of his hand with a smile on her face. "Yes! Let's go up there; it makes me happy." The Selected girl giggled, pulling the guard away from her own balcony and turning to close the door and letting go of his hand to latch it. "I don't have to be downstairs for dinner for a while yet."

(AHHH Hey Violet!! I wasn't a huge fan to start with, but I like their new sound a lot!! I saw them when we got soundcheck tickets for 5SOS and it was AMAZING. They played an acoustic set while we waited in line and ahhhh Blossom; That's fine ^^ I'll delete Selena Also, Holly, what ever happened to Jaden and Hazel? x3) Quinn watched him leave with the happy, butterfly-y feeling that he always left in her stomach. She waited for the next few minutes, taking the time to touch up on her makeup and brush out her hair that the wind had tangled while they were on the balcony. Deciding that ten minutes was more than enough time the Selected girl exited her room promptly, trying to walk quickly but not suspiciously, and ducked up the stairs that led to the deserted area. Glancing around she spotted her guard and walked up behind him, placing her hands on his arm and saying, "Boo." With a giggle.

Gil's heart almost leapt out of his throat when he saw Princess Charlotte roaming the halls - didn't she have some type of meeting to be in? Granted, she wasn't the heir to the throne like Andy, but she still had to go to some meetings. But then again, Gil had been with the royal family since essentially birth - Char hated responsibilities. Gil knew Quinn hadn't seen the princess, so when Quinn met up with him in their rooms, he relaxed quite visibly when Quinn snuck up on him. "Hey, Boo," he greeted her before flopping on his stomach onto the bed in the room. The rooms had once been part of the royal family's residence, but no longer after a rebel attack made the palace guard deem it too risky to house the royals. Gil scooted over so Quinn had room to sit or lay down next to him. He rested his head on his arms in front of him, frowning at his shirt that had shifted up past his waist, too lazy to fix it. It was easy to see the guard relaxed - a rarity the couple couldn't usually get. "It feels good to be able to breathe with you. Everything'll be so much easier once Andy picks one of you guys. My work schedule'll go back to normal and we don't have to sneak around anymore." ~*~ (sorry Bean that this is iffy, I'm doing bio homework) Andy had perfected the art of sneaking out of cabinet meetings by the time he was seven years old - eleven years later, not much else had changed. He loved his country, and understood how important he was, but still. He was an eighteen year old kid tasked with being the next king of a world power and having to find a wife in a harrowingly small pool of women. He silently wished Illea did arranged marriages for the eldest son since it would take so much off his plate. That was the main reason why he was skipping this meeting, a mundane report about the King of Swendway's deteriorating health. There had been some recent Illean national security issues which had kept Andy from actually meeting any of the girls; how many weeks had they been there? The days all ran together now, he had no idea. That's why the prince was in the Selected girls' hallway, on his way to ask one of them on his first-ever date. However, instead of one of the girls he found his older sister. "Char?" Andy asked, bewildered to see his fiery sister in the hallway. "What are you doing here? Don't you have a meeting?"

"What do you mean, 'you guys'?" Quinn laughed lightly, sitting down on the bed and looking down to Gil with a soft smile on her face. "There is no way I'm letting myself get that far. Why would I fall for a prince when I have a guard?" She tucked her hair away from her face and scooted up and lay down next to him, her legs simply crossed and her hair making a sort've ring around her head. "Plus, when this is all over, we don't have to sneak around anymore." Quinn said, looking up at the dusty ceiling. "Then I can brag about you." She teased.

"You'd brag about me?" Gil asked, a real touch of emotion in his words. Gil hadn't been afraid to tell Quinn about his messy childhood - parents that had a child predominantly just to have the Davenport name go on, the King and Queen 'adopting' him in a way that he was always shut out of everything. Gil typically seemed stoic and unrattled and to hear him be touched by anything was sometimes a big deal. And as a guard, just like a maid, he was taught to be seen, not heard or liked. To hear Quinn say that was special. But still, there was no way Andy was going to let Quinn go so easily. The guard and the prince were alike - so much so Queen Katherine had joked when they were younger that Andy's personality was derived off of Gil's. If Gil fell for Quinn, what was to say the prince wasn't? And it wasn't like Quinn could decline, either. As if to comfort himself Gil situated himself closer into Quinn, eyes trained on her profile. "That - thank you." He told her quietly, an addition to his question.

Andy muttered something under his breath which sounded suspiciously like fifty minutes, the only thing that made Charlotte older than him. "Did you happen to see Gil, then? He's been missing all day." Andy casually mentioned his best friend, sort of brother, and personal guard - who would probably upgrade to captain of the guard when Andy elevated to king - when Charlotte told him that she was out terrorizing the poor men who had to stand silently outside of doors and little-traveled corridors. But before Charlotte could answer she was oohing at the fact that Andy was in the hallway. "As the future king, I don't need to tell you anything," he parroted, rolling his eyes. The taller twin then shrugged. "I skipped my meeting because it's about time I tried to spend time with one of the girls I guess. But Gil's been MIA all day so I don't think I'm prepared to run out on my first-ever date. That is why, Char, you and I are going to do anything, and I mean anything, under the impression of 'sibling bonding' so I don't have to walk into the unknown. Also known as my very public love life." Andy nodded, happy with the conclusion he'd reached. Although the Schreave children were twins, the resemblances and personalities of the two didn't quite match up. Anytime the two did things willingly together made their parents thrilled. It would be a foolproof excuse as to why Andy both missed his meeting and neglected the Selected. Oh man, he was not ready for all of Illea to see him fail at dating.

"Of course not, I have plenty of time." Jaden began to walk up the staircase, wondering what it would look like to someone who was seeing it for the first time. He grew up in the palace, with his mother a cook and his father a stablehand; these halls were home to him. "What do you think of the palace?" The butler inquired. "I think it's beautiful," Hazel sighed dreamily. She followed him a few paces behind. "I mean, I suppose I can see how eventually the splendors would all just start to seem normal, but boy am I a long way from there. It's just to fairy tale, you know?"

(Sorry I disappeared guys... busy day. It's all good, Blossom ^^ I totally get it.)
Quinn propped herself up on one elbow and looked at Gil with a gentle smile on her face and her green eyes glimmered with happiness and... there might have even been a little love in there. "Of course I'd brag about you, silly." She said softly, yet the smile never left her features. "Why wouldn't I? You're funny, honest, handsome," She poked his side on the last one, although she was hardly joking. "And just... just an awesome human being in general."
Jaden laughed. "I can't say I can relate, although I can only imagine how... mystical these halls must look." The butler continued up the stairs, hoping he was right and no one else would be up there. Why would they? "If you ever get the chance, watch them at sunset. How the dim light reflects off the marble creates these beautiful reflections that'll melt into the shadows up by the corners... It's truly splendid to watch. Something you wouldn't normally consider beautiful."
