awww man I loved powderpuff games. My school got rid of them one year into me being there, because a parent complained it wasn't "fair"

(Oh that's awesome!)
Giselle looked up, rolling her eyes dramatically before returning to apply her nail polish. "Don't address me as Your Highness." She said simply, determined to ignore this ever persistent guard that seemed to always be right behind her to annoy her. "Miss or Lady Giselle is just fine." Go away you annoying guard.
"Eight years ago.. and you were twelve, huh? So you must be twenty. You're old." Quinn teased, poking his chest with her finger playfully before relaxing onto his chest with a smile, his warmth and the feeling of his uniform against her back feeling more comforting than any bed. "Yeah, if I have to be honest, being in the middle of a city scares me." She continued, eyes training on the skyline. "I mean, there's so many people... There's so many cars, and noise, and so much can go wrong."

"Really? So when you- as you so confidently -become queen, you wish to be addressed as Miss? Huh. What a humble queen you'd be." Juliette's lip twitched up into a small smirk, sitting herself down nearby the Selected girl. With a quiet "hurrumph" and a shrug, she offered a pastry to the girl. "Eclair?" She didn't expect her to accept it, but she figured it was a kind gesture nonetheless.

(Hey Blossom, welcome back! I don't have anyone open at the moment, though...)
"Whe- If I become Queen, you won't be around to call me anything." Giselle muttered under her breath, but she made sure that Juliette would at least hear a little of it. "Really, you keep it." She smiled, it was so fake it hurt, towards Juliette before returning to paint her nails, hoping that Juliette would take the hint and buzz off.

Our school did it every year. Though the referees always rigged it so the seniors would win. Plus, the coaches were the guys from the football team and honestly, they knew nothing about "flag" football. They were teaching us to block and such. Let me be honest and say that I referee and played flag football for a number of years and know how it works. You CANT block in flag football XD.

Gil wrinkled his nose, knowing full well Quinn couldn't see it. "Twenty is not old," he warned, "You're only, what, max, four years younger than me? Three? Can't wait for you to call me elderly in ten years." Gil listened to Quinn's words. Subconsciously he tightened his grip on her waist at her last sentence, possibly thinking about what could go wrong just in the palace, never mind the city. "I love it out there. It's comforting, believe it or not."

(Hey, Selectioners! What's up?)
Hazel was still scooting her little self up and down the hall on her fuzzy socks. Her shrieks and giggles had eventually drawn Quiet Crystal out of her room, and the shorter, raven-haired girl was watching Hazel nervously, her hands clasped tightly over her heart. What if Hazel fell and hurt herself?
"You're sure you don't want to try?" Hazel offered, grinning impishly. That impish grin was quickly becoming a signature expression of Hazel's.
Crystal shook her head, smiling slightly. "Um, no, thank you. I would definitely fall."

(Hey Hazel! So Blossom, the girls had tea with the Queen and now Quinn and Gil are having a secret date while Juliette torments Giselle.)
Ten years? Quinn thought, breaking into a smile at the thought and leaning against his chest. "Maybe it was because I was pretty much alone. You should take me out there sometime." She said, a breeze blowing her hair in front of her face and she shook her head slightly, causing it to fall away. "And then I might find it comforting."

"Sorry, princess needs to stay skinny, right?" Juliette quirked a brow at her, making sure her next bite was as obnoxious as she could manage. Concerning her previous statement, which the guard didn't miss, she couldn't help but snort. "That wouldn't be a wise choice, you know. Firing me." She shrugged, "It's not just for my pretty looks they keep me around, you know." She tapped the ugly scar marring her face, emphasizing the irony of her statement.

Roberta carefully cut another two slices, then turned and tapped the tip of the knife against her jaw as she thought for a moment, "I'm not sure getting new fittings would be an issue. Besides," She put the knife back down and handed Fel her second slice, "It's very much worth it." Sitting down once more, she let the silence hang for a minute as she took a bite of her cake. She never had been very good at maintaining conversation, especially not when asked to sit and talk. Idle chatter while working was one thing, but this was something else entirely and she didn't want to mess it up. Swallowing, she gave Fel a small smile as she leaned back in her chair, posture relaxed and comfortable, "So what do you want to do with your life? On the off chance you lose, that is."

((So sorry I wasn't on yesterday! I had a late class... Thanks for helping me out, Sky!))
Soren wandered down the hallway, humming an off-beat tune to himself. He had nothing to do at the moment, so he had decided to take a stroll. While someone else may have taken the opportunity to catch up on some sleep, Soren was a night owl and found he did his best work while everyone else was down for the night. As he passed the kitchen, he heard the unmistakable clink of utensils, most likely someone washing dishes. He stepped in to see Jaden at work with a pile of dirty dishes. "Hey, Jaden," Soren called out. "Want some help?"

SORRY I HAVE NO FREE-TIME ANYMORE! And yes let's do it!)
Alexander was striding briskly through one of the many hallways of the palace, as was his style. His shoes clicked nicely on the polished wooden floors. In his arms he clutched a stack of documents he had spent the evening pouring over. They were essays and research he had put together concerning some of the proposals that the king had been skeptical about. Alexander intended to leave them in the Report room's adjoining study, and decided to take a shortcut on the second floor. However, he hadn't considered running into any of the Selected girls- in fact, he had focused on his work that day and only seen them at breakfast.

Giselle blinked and simply returned to painting her nails, deciding that anything she would say would probably used against her; Most girls she tormented weren't this witty with their responses. "Yes, well," Annd... she couldn't help herself. "We'll see." The Selected girl finished off one hand and fanned it for a moment before beginning the other.
"That'd be great!" Jaden called, even before realizing who had spoken. He turned around and spotted Soren, giving him a smile. "Hey dude! Yeah, please. I mean, I'm not technically on dish duty tonight, but no one ever calls a butler at night. I mean, why is there even a night shift for that?" The butler said light-heartedly, obviously not complaining and meaning it. "Here, I can wash and you can dry."

(Enjoy the homecoming festivities, Red!)
(I hope you feel better soon, Sky, and that everything works out.)
(What's up with in all my little Selectioners' lives today? Hahaha.)
Hazel was too engrossed in her game to hear Alex's approaching footsteps. She was humming a jaunty, energized tune that often played at the carnival that came to town once a year, because the ****ziness of it applied well to her current festivities. She reached one end of the hall, spun around, and took off running the opposite direction, passing the few potted plants and pictures on the wall. About halfway down, she braced herself and flung her arms out for balance, sliding across the marble floor "smooth as a gliding ghost," as she had once jokingly described Violet when they had played the game at home.
Of course, she didn't feel much like a gliding, intangible ghost when, five seconds later, she slammed right into somebody and rebounded backward onto her backside. "Ow! Sorry! You were in my runway...Oh!" She blinked her hazel-green eyes, taking in the sight of poor Prince Alexander and his scattered papers. Suddenly she felt kind of like a school bully who had knocked the a little nerd's papers out of his hands. She hurriedly pulled her robe closed across her front. "My apologies, Your Highness. I didn't see you."
