Michiko felt relief flood through her when the man suddenly stumbled back and released her from his grip. Michiko could see through the light she was emitting as it was an extension of her soul, and so she turned on her heel without a second thought and slugged her assailant open palmed in the nose. She felt herself flinch as the sounds of bone against bone echoed through the air with a sickening crunch. Michiko fought back the cringe as she pulled up her her knee and followed up with a kick to where the sun didn't shine. After, Michiko fought the urge to be sick as she sagged into herself and leaned against the tree. At first, she thought it. was because she had just caused so much pain to another living being, but it became apperent very quickly that it wasn't just that.
The soul link was greatly diminished, and Michiko felt her energy sap out of her. Orion kept her stable, and without his steady light to guide her own, she felt her light flicker in the breeze of her sickness as the darkness encroached upon her mind. Michiko leaned to the side as she emptied the nonexistant contents of her stomache as her light flicked off and black spots danced against ther vision. The not eating in a while was catcing up to her in the form of physical weakness, and she prayed that the many would stay on the ground because she wasn't sure she had the engergy to defend herself if her life depended on i.t
Meanwhile, the human was about to pee his pants, and he might have already done so. He scrambled to his feet, his heart pounding, and he was about to strike when he caught a glimpse of the fae's soulless eyes. A scream exited his mouth as he turned on his heel and began to run for his life across the diameter of the corrider. He didn't care about the mission or his partner, and he didn't even care about Felix's wrath at that point. He knew that if he didn't run, he'd be dead, and in that moment, his life was all that mattered.

The strike was sudden, and it had the cult member snarling in pain and his hands flew to his face. Did she break his nose?! Well, judging by the warm liquid that quickly found its way into his palms and down his wrists, she must have. He didn't have much time to react further as another intense shot of pain coursed through him. This pain, however, had him on his knees and groaning. What the hell?! Felix said she couldn't fight - that she wouldn't fight, rather. It had barely been a couple weeks, so what had changed? Why was the information suddenly wrong? If he managed to get back... no. He wouldn't do anything. Felix would have him by the neck.
As low groans and curses left his mouth, he slowly lowered his blood covered hands to the ground in an attempt to get up. How long had he been on the ground? Who was screaming? A slow turn of the head told him it was his partner. And while he couldn't very well see the other fae's face, his stance alone was a bit intimidating. Turning his gaze back to the girl, be found that she was no longer glowing. A glare settled over his features as he stood and wiped blood from his face with the heel of his palm. He started over to her again, making his hidden blades known (think assassin's creed). "Let's try this again," he stated coldly. "Do what I tell you, and I won't hurt you too much."
----
Over on Orion's side of the fight, he was just about over come with rage. He never made it to frustration and silent seething, however, letting it turn straight to wrath and violent intentions. He watched as his attacker turned prey scrambled into a standing position. Oh, so he was really going to fight? Wonderful! It'd been a while since he had a decent fight. Yet, he found the blazing light around them vanishing, and his pupils grew to take up around 75% of his irises. And as his vision adjusted, he saw the human running away.
Well that just wouldn't do.
Grin dropping from his face, his eyes blazed as the vines shriveled and died and the ore seemed to unearth itself until his irises were nothing but grey. His skin paled a bit, and by now the link had shut down completely. The fae's right chain shot out, following the wrestler at an alarming rate to wrap around his torso and yank him back. And eventually, he hit his target, the end of the chain securing around the male's waist. But he didn't pull back on it, opting instead to attach his end to a near by tree. The human would realize soon enough.
(So like I'm gunna kill my guy, and then like I'm gunna let your guy live, and then I think he should go report to Alice instead of Felix and then she can yell at Felix and tell him the master plan with the portal and all that and all that good stuff. And then I also want Orion to be the one to run off cause yee But like we don't have to do all that if you don't want too)
